  1. So David and Lori had to have an affair at some point and she was blackmailing him or something. And I now love Elizabeth. LOL at her mother encouraging the affair.

Lori's psychotic and needs to be in jail. Celebrating her daughter's "birthday" on her kidnapping date is so gross. And I'm glad Carter had a breakthrough, even if it doesn't last very long.

  2. Best episode since the premiere.

  3. Had an affair and for whatever reason was not forthcoming about the affair 13 years ago when Carter was kidnapped would be my guess. Maybe David honestly did not consider that Lori could have taken his daughter but it would have been a huge lie of omission, the FBI might have found Carter rather quickly if they knew Lori was the number 1 suspect.

  4. This show is really surprising me in terms of how good it is. The snippets at the end of this episode make it seem like there will be a lot more twists and turns into the remaining episodes.

  5. This show is surprisingly good and entertaining. I always thought David is shady and not only because he is writing the book without telling Carter, I had a bad feeling about him from the start.

I hope Max is not getting into trouble for being a friend to Carter. I actually hoped that Crash would rat out Lori because he kind of owes that to Elisabeth. So I guess he has not really changed, he seems to be naive to think that he could go with Carter. Loris would think of him as a threat if they really decide to run. But good for Carter that she made the choice to stay, Lori is kind of selfish for making her to choose. Thinking that Carter belongs to her, reveals how twisted her mind must be.

  6. It took me a while to get on board with this show but I finally gave in and binge watched all the episodes over the weekend. I started to see Lori unraveling a few episodes ago and am just waiting for her to crack and do something completely nuts. I want to see more about the kidnapping and what life was like before it happened.
While I know that David is Capt. Shady, when he "confronted" Kyle I cheered. Kyle was ballsy as hell to come into that house in the first place.

I am in agreement that there is more between David and Lori. I am not sold on the affair angle, but they definitely know one another. I totally agree with the fact that the show has not really explored the whole missing and then found storyline....more info is needed as to why Lori felt the need to steal Carter and seems to be bent on stealing her again. This for sure is not a simple storyline.

I find the character of Carter irritating beyond belief. She is selfish and self absorbed and to my view a brat! David is really creepy as a father....how can you find your child and then feel justified in writing a book after you have told not to.....sooooo strange and out of the norm of behaviour, after one has found their child after 13 years of looking. To try to profit on this is just plain creepy!
