  1. yay!!! I'm SO happy to see Rigsby from THE MENTALIST is still around and getting work as well!! :D
as for the show itself, it just keeps getting better and better!!! PLEEEEEEEEEASE CBS, Renew It For AT LEAST One More Season, Or If It's Indeed Canceled, DO NOT LEAVE A BIG UNASWERED CLIFFHANGER AT THE END! :P

Sorry, but this show has veered off into unbelievability. "Jumped the shark", as the saying goes. People don't just believe their dead daughter is back, and accept that this alien has to "feed" off others and turn them into zombies as the price they can accept to have their daughter back. In real life, people question such things. A lot. And for a long time.

    Seriously.

  4. But what the offspring does is basically mind-controlling its victims, Starks and his wife being one of them, using the image of their dead daughter to manipulate and twist their minds, not just merely blackmailing them.

but if it can totally mind control them, why does it need to fake their little girl? The implication is that they still have their own volition, and the little girl is something that they need in order to do the will of the offspring. and its threatens to take the little girl away if they don't obey. So if they still have to be convinced like that, where are their morals about feeding, et cetra?

  6. Possibly the offsping's making them think they still have free will when they don't. He can still control/compel them without having to "feed" them like he did with a scientist in a previous episode. That guy eventually snapped out of it.

If the offspring could totally control what they feel, even make them think they have dree will, it doesn't need to fake the girl. It could just control them.

  8. The scientist in question told Starks that he saw his dead mother talking to him and telling him to kill someone in the lab. That is likely the case with him and the wife now. The image of their dead child is the offspring's only way to communicate with them to do his bidding, at least from what I could gather based on this week's double bill and previous episodes..

This baby does not come in peace. It feeds off humans and now the space station is coming to earth???? Molly needs to wake up and smell the beans, it is using her.

  10. I agree. The quality of the writing has plummeted since episode 5 or 6. I find myself wanting to fast-forward. The airing of double episodes doesn't help. I predict a cancellation,

  11. Awesome episode, I need to see the offspring face and now we know more about his plans, I think the alien try to bring more of his kind to earth with the space station. Wow Ethan is in danger now, Olin has him.
