Welcome to the seventh daily poll for the main Emmy categories. As SpoilerTV readers, it is your job to predict who will win the Emmy for today's category.

Please note that the question of the poll is who WILL win the Emmy, not who SHOULD win. Try to look objectively at the nominees and consider who has the best chance of winning the Emmy. Tell us what you voted for in the comments, and feel free to also tell who you think should win the Emmy. And if you're still pissed about that Emmy snub, share your frustration below as well (but please remain polite).

Today's category is Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. The nominees are Louis C.K., Don Cheadle, Ricky Gervais, Matt LeBlanc, William H. Macy and Jim Parsons. Vote in the poll below, share your vote in the comments and come back tomorrow for the category Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.

  2. Now that I've started Big Bang, I can say Jim Parsons

  3. I think there is a chance Parsons won't take this one. Wouldn't it be like his 4th win? Who knows, maybe Louie has a chance. Fingers crossed because, although I do love Sheldon, I think other actors deserve recognition.

  4. I'd love to see Louie take it, but think that the safe call would be Parsons

  7. Wanna bet?lol
No really, it depends on whether it gets funnier or not. Right now, it's funny but most comedies that I watch are ( to me of course ) funnier like 2 Broke Girls, Mom,... But who knows?
School is starting in 4 weeks so I'd better hurry I guess :D

  8. Omg! Big Bang is hilarious! There's no way you'll go w/o laughing. You really won't be disappointed. They get funnier as the seasons go on. This last season was kinda so so, but they did have funny episodes. When did you start watching exactly? AND WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG TO START?? LOL

  9. Started 2 nights ago.. I think I was bored and I'd finally found a 720p torrent of season 1 so I just downloaded it and checked the pilot out and I was kinda disappointed but I always give a show a second chance even though I find the pilot disappointing. The second episode was really good so I decided I would keep on watching! I watched ep 4 earlier and as I said, it was funny but I didn't like howl with laughter or anything especially I think because English is not my first language and when they're talking about physics I'm just lost and don't get the jokes...lol
And it took me this long because I don't like watching what everybody else is watching you know, whenever I do, I feel like a sheep following what other sheeps are doing.
Did that with Game of Thrones, American Horror Story and The Walking Dead and now they're my favorite shows!

  10. 2 nights ago?? Jesus! Dude, seriously, giving a show a pilot watch and stopping there never works. What i do, mostly what everyone does, if it doesn't pull you in by the pilot. At least give it 3 episodes. 5 most. Also you say English isn't you're first language, but people all over the world watch this show, and it's not like the audience is filled with scientist and physicists. lmao...It's not rocket science you'll pick it up. Now if you can't pick up on the OTHER jokes they talk about, comics, movies, etc etc, then you definitely won't enjoy the show, then again, my advice to you is, if there's anything you're lost on, just ask the fans in the Big Bang Section on this site or w/e or site you go to, and they'll help clear it up for you.

There's nothing "sheepish" about watching what millions of people watch. Especially when it's a HIT series, with multiple awards, has been on the air for 8 years, and pretty much connects to every fan/geek/teacher/actor/individual out there. And when your own fanbase pulls strings so one of the MAIN characters can go to Outerspace IRL, you know you have a winner. You keep thinking like that, and you'll be missing out on good entertainment....like now. lol

GOT, not my thing, AHS. still haven't had time to check it out. TWD, definitely bored me. I had made a deal with one of my friends, i was supposed to pick a show for her, and her for me. But ughh, I had to stop by season 2. I couldn't take anymore. But she ended up falling in love my show. lol

  11. Well with most shows that I watch, the pilot caught my eye right away because there's usually a cliffhanger but TBBT is a comedy so I didn't expect a cliffhanger but a joke or a situation that would me laugh really hard and I don't really remember anything making laugh. I just wanted to watch episode 2 to also see how Leonard would act with Penny.

Yeah I know it's not sheepish or anything but that's just how I work.. I watch a lot of shows that not a lot of people watch or have even heard of.

I was also really intrigued with the situation that happened not a long time ago with the actors getting paid 1M/episode and wanted to see if the actors really worth it and even though I've only watched 4 episodes, there's a good chemistry between them. Now I'm not saying that I'll watch 30 episodes a day because first of all I'm working this month and don't much time.

I also like that the fan base is not aggressive towards people whenever someone says something bad about it, I feel like the audience is more mature than certain shows.

Oh wow, got bored by TWD... Tough crowd! :D It's so sad when people say that because I really think it's the only show that could go on and on and would not bore me but of course, it's your opinion and I totally respect it!

People like you who are really into a show really make me want to watch it and I can say that I'll watch one or two episodes tonight :)

  12. "I just wanted to watch episode 2 to also see how Leonard would act with Penny." Curiosity that's a good thing, lol that's a start. A lot of my friends don't watch the shows i watch (very few), so that's why i come on here, or other sites. I need my fanbase. lol with all my shows. As i said, the show gets funnier as it goes on. You'll see.

And yes the age range for the series, goes from like idk 13, 16, around there to 85. LOL sooo yeah, there's a lot of maturity through the fanbase. Especially when you've been following the show for years, and really connect with the characters, they become your "tv family". And YUP! That money is definitely worth it. They certainly deserve it.

Yup, she's lucky i got to season 2, i only did it b/c we had a deal, and she finally released me from it!! I only made it to episode 6, i remember. But she fell in love with my show (Being Human) and caught up before season 4.

Sweet! Let me know how it goes. = ) Let me know when you start singing Soft Kitty out loud. (tiny spoiler oops). = p

  15. Well, both ep 5 and 6 were funnier than the previous ones! I really didn't think that something between Leonard and Penny would happen this fast.. But I'm glad it happened. And Raj sleeping with someone was just... awesome. And everyone thinking that Sheldon was a zebra.. that just cracked me up!

Big Bang theory, although I do think Leonard should be up there as well. Both of them are equally main characters.
Overall comedy whatever should always be TBBT because it is so awesome :)

I started watching TBBT somewhere last year. I always heard about but thought nothing of it, but when I just happened to watch it on tv I was hooked and quickly caught up to all the seasons in a matter of a few weeks.
I do think it is the best comedy series.

  18. I would like Louis CK or Ricky Gervais to win, but it will probably be Jim Parsons.
