ReplyDeleteSince he's the main character and has said he would never leave the show I highly doubt it, plus a hell of a lot of people would stop watching :P

ReplyDeleteSome folks are speculating Holland Roden is leaving the show? Apparently her answers at the two conventions in europe made it sound like she is ready to move on in her career.
ReplyDeleteIf she wants to go, I can understand that. No actor wants to play a teen for years on end. But I really hope Jeff isn't relying on his go to tactic for leaving actors, either death or poor explained write off.

ReplyDeleteAfter Crystal left I was worried Holland would follow since they were so close and similar age as well. This is the only show though that I've seen where the actors really aren't comfortable playing younger characters :P
ReplyDeleteI guess so, seems like they're setting Liam up for something though. Tbh I've not had much interaction with the fandom but they seem to be pretty anti-Scott on twitter, I can see how that could bother someone enough to want to leave,despite what he might have said earlier.

I think Liam is just another beta for Scott's pack after Isaac left, there are people that don't like how Scott is handling his alpha status but very few, and they seem to be coming around once it's explained why he's doing things this way. Mostly people aren't happy with the sudden change in the show, all the mythology from season 3 to money issues and assassins this season :/ And the fact that Jeff skipped over all the grief and all the characters leaving. Tbh I nearly gave up on the show myself but its improved quickly for me over the last 2 episodes, still this season has been a bit off if you know what I mean :P

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't say they're uncomfortable. More their looking out for themselves. Female roles dry up quicker than male roles when you get start to age. They don't want to get type-casted either.
I always hear the TW contracts aren't very good at keeping actors in their roles. I wonder why that is.
Most people say that MTV doesn't pay very well, everyone that's left except for Crystal has left for another show.
