It was a good episode! I do not know how Branch will come back from his meltdown.

This show just gets better every season!

  3. glad that the crazed Branch plot is somewhat resolved as that was dragging a bit and was getting a bit weird, but there's still going to be quite a bit of fallout due to Branch's actions for some time to come. So glad that next week is supposed to reveal the long plot of Walt's wife's murderer... still feel really bad for poor Henry, as at this point he seems to have lost just about everything, bu I hope that will change next week as well...

  4. This show has gotten so good. Love that we're seeing more grittier sides of Vic, Branch and Ferg too. Keep the darkness coming!

  5. Love this show but not so keen on Vic at the moment. Surely she should know that you treat someone who is in the middle of a breakdown gently and not shout at them. Also, looking at the promo for next week I have a really bad feeling that it will be Branch who turned out to have been involved in the murder of Walt's wife. I really hope they do not do this as it is totally against the character of him in the first two seasons when he wouldn't use underhand tricks to win the election. And it woldn't be fair on Cady to find out her sometime boyfriend was involved. The problem is it has to either be him or Nighthorse as there is noone else left for it to be and I think it is too obvious to be Nighthorse.
If it does turn out to be Branch then they will have lost a viewer as I do not want to watch the Walt and Vic show!

  6. For a while I was thinking it might be Branch's father as the culprit in Walt's wife's death and Branch was eating himself up because he knew. Then I was thinking that it wasn't him but Branch thought it was and so was going nutty. But if it wasn't him,we are down to precious few suspects. Scratching head.

  7. Yeah that was what also made me think they are going to have Branch be the culprit, when his dad said to him he wished he knew what was eating him. I really really really hope it is not Branch but have a bad feeling it will be!

  8. Wow! So much happened in this episode! Awesome!

  9. I don't think it's him. He has no motive for killing Walt's wife. Also, he was genuinely surprised when Cady accidentally told him that her mother had been murdered.

  10. I know he has no motive but it may have been something he was not aware of as in he arranged something for someone and didn't realise it was his wife. I don't want it to be but the suspect list is getting smaller and smaller.

  11. It will be a real game changer if it was Branch involved in the murder, maybe unwittingly through his father's business, but they certainly have taken Branch to the point of no return on account of what is now a rather long list of criminal actions. The only thing keeping him out of prison for his actions now is an insanity plea or a bullet from Walt. The consequences of the latter would turn the show upside down. I hope it is not Branch.

  12. Could Walt's wife have arranged it to spare her family's having to watch her die ?

  13. He cold probably stay out of prison if charges were not pressed. I am sure Travis could be persuaded not to press charges and the man he kidnapped has said he will not press charges. Vic will not either and so that is really only the criminal things that he has done. I hope they do not either killhim off or make him the bad guy but allow him to be helped by Walt and his friends and so he can come back to his job next season, which hopefully there will be one of.

  14. Hope so too.

  15. a solid episode.
Dunno if he is involved in Walt's wife murder or not, but I can't see Branch as a deputy again.
I wonder if by removing Branch from Sheriff 's office, they open the door for Henry, who will be free of work and probably innocent, since the true guilty will be revealed.
I much prefer Henry as a deputy (well he was doing the job anyway) and Branch taking his dad 's place as the rich man in power making Walt's life difficult.

Hope this gets renewed, it is finding its way and has become a quite decent show. I also like the whole "main season ark" format.

  16. But Henry is not free of work as the red pony did not burn down as he called the fire brigade. It was only partly burnt and I am sure they can fix that. Branch does not seem the type to be a rich man making Walt's life difficult as he has fought against them while he was deputy.
Also, I cannot see Henry working under Walt. I hope Branch is able to come back as a deputy after he has been helped.

  17. Whatever happens in the season finale, I love this show and its people. And it had better be renewed or I might have to put on white ghost warrior paint and hoist my spear.

  18. Henry will be out of work because he sold Red Pony to MAlachai (sp?). The latter accepted the deal. So Henry is not the owner anymore..|
Branch has violated many laws, plus he attacked Vic. You cant possible get him back as a law enforcer. I think this bridge is broken.
It remains to see if Branch will survive the season and with what wounds?.
(books spoilers) I think in the books he is a minor character

  19. I was not clear on if Henry sold the bar or not because he was still holding the piece of paper when Walt arrived, though he did have some new information which was not useful to them, gleaned from Malachai. He did say to Walt that Malachai would own the bar but I wasn't certain if he meant only if he was convicted.

  20. Has anybody thought that when his dad asked branch i would love to know whats eating you, is not because branch was involved in waltz wives murder but because he knows the dad was and the dad wants to know if branch is on to him. One other thing when branch looked shocked when Cady told him her mom was murdered, remember nobody knew but walt and henry, perhaps branch knew it was his father but had no idea Walts family had a clue. In the beginning branch hated his dad trying to steal the election, perhaps he saw it as one more crime his father was trying to pull. And its possible branch could come back if its found out that ridges has been poisoning him. causing his mental state to go bad.
