I did not choose awesome, great, good, okay, poor, or awful. We need a f*cking awesome as a choice!!!
So many awesome moments during this hour, so very hard to choose which was the best....

I so didn't see Cheng coming back! I am one of those few that like his character and the history between him, Jack, and Audrey makes for good television. I can't wait to see Jack's reaction when he finds out Cheng isn't in prison and is involved in this! Jack is going to go nuts!

In so many movies, television shows, and books, there is always a plot line about going to war with the Chinese, and having Cheng get the override device and making it look like the American's fired that missile is definitely going to be seen as an act of war. I wonder if America will be going to war now with the Chinese and if not, I wonder how the writers are going to resolve THAT!

I felt bad for Kate when she found out the truth about how Navarro framed her husband and made it look like he was the traitor. I felt even shittier for her when she told Jack that her husband killed himself because she didn't believe him to be innocent.

Those damn Vodka drinking russkies! I always knew those Russians would come back to try and settle a score with Jack. But what out, Boudreau! Jack is back and staying!

  4. yet another epic ep in the Jack B wallet of badassedness...... so many great scenes from the frenzied chase for Navarro, and the classic JB interrogation techniques, Jack/Kate's fakeout gambit of Navarro in the treatment room, to the quiet moment with Jack and Kate in the car, and Chloe trying to do what she can because she knew this was wrong, and the reveal that Cheng was back and pretty much behind everything tying in Jack, Audrey, and perhaps Kate in his web of evil.... sooooo good to have the adrenaline rush back... I truly hope they are strongly considering another season

Truth be told, I was kind of hoping that Tony would end up being the "final boss" villain. What happened to him is one of the big unanswered questions that the show still has. Still, Cheng is a REALLY good alternative.

Really, writers? How is Cheng a plot twist? As soon as the pilot said "secrets to the Chinese", everyone knew they meant Cheng.

  8. I don't think he was mentioned once during speculation about any future episodes. So, speak for yourself.

  9. poor kate , at least she got some payback and liked bauer empathizing with kate, and their car conversation, knew the kate threatening navarro and bauer asking to to put the gun down was a plan, loved it either way, i was hoping bauer shot navarro's hand off in the interrogation room

  10. That was all kinds of awesome! Cheng, that asshole, is back! I get to say "fucking Chinese!" again with them back in play. I did consider way back when this started if they would bring the Chinese back in since Kate's husband was accused of selling secrets to them, but I didn't consider Cheng would be a part of it, or if they would even go with it. Now they did both! Plus the Russians are in play! Gah! So freaking awesome!

Plus, Yvonne/Kate got to show offer her inner-Jack Bauer with making Navarro break. That was a great little sequence. And somehow... Yvonne Strahovski is even hotter now.

  11. That was just pure awesome.

Loved Jack this episode, He was everything we wanted him to be. And Kate and Jack teaming up on Navarro was perfect.

And then in the China and Russia, Shit just got real and real.

  14. laura3341 trying to shame a person thats funny. Apparently my comment went right over your head what I was trying to say is that if you think the writers did such a bad job and that it was so predictable that every body seen this coming which I can bet that most people didn't see this coming and that's what you think of the show then just go and watch something else.and if that bothers you laura3341 then I don't know what to tell you

  15. To me it came across as being a bit sarcastic. Its one thing to say watch something else if this isn't living up to your expectations its another to say go watch dynasty (although you gave me a good chuckle). If i had read that i wouldn't have even of made this comment..

  16. Wow! Wow! is all I can say.

Too many great moments, but I must single-out Kate tricking Navarro to give up the tracking numbers--so there would be no reason for the Government to strike a deal with him. And, then, Kate telling him that she would be there to watch him be executed! Yes, Kate is the Female Jack Bauer.

Cheng coming back was something I had thought might happen--but clearly didn't expect it at this point in the narrative. Dude is just as vicious as ever!

And, Mark continuing to set-up Jack for the Russians seems to foretell the finale of the season, with Cheng and the Russians having a gun battle, and Jack & Kate using it as cover to escape--probably outside the law, and on the run together.

Which is "24" at its best: Jack, the Ultimate Rebel. Operating outside of the official channels, saving the world over and over again. And, rarely receiving a simple "Thank You".

Just two more episodes left, and I'm already starting to cry because it will be over. And, another 12-episodes have not been announced for the future.

  18. wow!!!!!!What an episode... Loved Jack interrogating Navarro. Just like old times. As for Cheng. Who let this *********** out? I don't care how many years have passed, or how, he shouldn't be out.. Is he a free agent, or could he be still working for the Chinese?

oh, I almost forgot.. I love Yvonne, but I kinda found her performance (pulling a Jack Bauer and all) not very convincing... Anyway, awesome episode. Too bad we're almost at the finish.

Really? How would I know if something is bad if I don't watch it? I suspected Cheng would be involved from the pilot, as I said in my post. Turns out I was right. Jelly, much?

  20. well 90% of the people that watch it disagree with you that its bad. Look at your statement where you said how would I know if something is bad if I don't watch it well that's your opinion like I said most of the people that watch it disagree with you

How about you grow up? All I said was that I saw Cheng a mile away (since the first episode!) and from that you ramble on about how I should watch something else. Really, man? Either I love 100% of something or completely disregard it? That's how you live life?
