  1. Nothing beats Argent's return for me. So glad he's back.

  2. I really liked Stiles handcuffing Malia as the Sheriff walks in, that was funny, especially since Malia said she didn't get it. Stiles speech to Liam about being possessed by an evil spirit and now he's better was nice :)

  3. The scene where Scott tells Liam he's a werewolf not a monster.

I really liked this episode as well, im glad it's improving :) For me anyway. I loved every scene with Kira in this episode. I liked the scene with Scott & Kira at the boathouse too.

I wasn't at all excited by Chris' return like most people were :/ Im not sure if I like the money problems storylines either

  4. Stiles' "better" quote is likely to win Best Quote from me this week. I lvoed it too.

  5. We definitely watch for opposite reasons because every scene with Kira that didn't have Lydia in it made me want to fast forward and the boat house dance scene gets my Throw All the Socks award for being so frustrating. We agree on the money problems though.

  6. I am totally with you. Chris had been missing in this season 4. Love to see more of him.

the Stiles/Malia scenes and when the sheriff tells the mute that he has the right to remain silent

  8. Derek and Sheriff find No Mouth, and then Peter kills him - After watching last episode, I thought he was going to be the Big Bad or the Big Bad's right hand man. Now he is dead, and all I can think is huh, ok. I guess we are back to looking for the thief.

I think the money trouble story lines would be better if only one party was having financial issues. We just had three seasons where everyone seemed to be financially fine and now, what 4 or 5 main parties are having money problems? It just seems like the writers are throwing it in our faces. Hopefully, it will tie in nicely, but I just don't see it.

  9. Lol I figured that out when I read your review for "Muted", I was afraid to comment because I disagreed with almost all of it :P
My dream show would have zero romance in it, I mainly like the Scott & Kira romance bc I really like how clumsy and awkward they get. I mainly watch a show for it's story but I really like lots of emotion in a show too.(Which is ironic since I don't like romance in shows!)

  10. You can always comment even to say I'm wrong. :-P

I am not a romance person at all, but I wasn't always like that. Back when shipping couples was a rariety adn shows almsot never went that way, I found it kind of refreshing. It's jsut now that everything is about shipping in every show and most shows are kowtowing to shippers that I hate it. I can stand Stiles and Malia right now simply because they always make me laugh. When they stop, I will want to fast forward them too.

  11. The right to remain silent is another I put on the Best Quote list. Loved it.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Never wrong! Just different opinions :) I don't think you ever have to worry about the laughs disappearing as long as Stiles is involved so you're safe there!

  13. Lydia using the password Allison, to decode the code. Just to find out, that it was a deadlist. Looks like, Scott and his pack, have low point values, compared to some of the others. If that is what the numbers mean???

    ReplyDelete
  14. Kira's fall was memorable.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I am having real issues with the money problem anvils for this exact reason. It's come out of the blue and gets more ridiculous every time someone new says it. What are we going to hear next? Kira's family is actually moving because the bank is about to foreclose on the house. If they are trying to make a statement, it's not working and my head hurts from all the anvils falling on it. I am however very intrigued by No Mouth's death. I hope Peter is completely sure he's dead. No wereIgors please. I also hope Gerard is not the Benefactor, but I want it to be Argent even less.

  16. I wrote them down for the recap. If I were the pack, I'd be insulted. Especially Derek and Kira. I wonder how much Peter was worth.

    Dead Pool List -

    Sean Walcott - 250
    David W- 250

    Michael W - 250

    Christina W - 250

    Lydia Martin - 20

    Scott McCall - 25

    Demarco Montana - 250

    Derek Hale - 15

    Carrie Hudson - 500

    Kayleen Bettcher - 250

    Kira Yukimura - 6

    Elias Town - 250

  17. Maybe the numbers don't translate directly into financial amounts. No Mouth was interested in killing Derek. Everyone in Scott's pack is well below a 100 - but they have taken out an evil fox spirit, creepy lizard thing and an alpha pack.

"I wonder how much Peter was worth." ---It is interesting how both Peter and Malia are both not on the list. I wonder if he is involved in this somehow.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I'm guessing whoever created this doesn't know about Malia. However if Peter got himself axed to throw off suspicion then Malia not being on it makes sense. Still Peter seemed shocked by No Mouth. I'm leaning towards Gerard or Argent but I am hoping I am wrong. Gerard because I'd rather they just tell me someone killed him and never have him back on screen again. Argent because he's Team Parent, collectively my second favorite character. He can't betray them.

    ReplyDelete
  19. That won't happen.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I have many favourites moments, KIra falling down (I laughed a lot :P), the list moment and Stalia moments :)

  22. Tough decision for me this week but I will pick one. I can do it. I'm trying to decide between Stiles helping Malia to stop her shift and The Sheriff, Derek, and Perrish detecting. (Loved that the writers remember the Sheriff used to be in the military...and was smart enough not to just swing that door open. They can remember that about the Sheriff but have taken to forgetting that Scott's a werewolf.)

I am going to pick the detecting scene. There. :-)

  23. I'm starting to think that the money problem "storylines" are going to turn out to just be about what to do with money recovered from the bad guys. At this point none of them are really felling like stories yet.

    ReplyDelete
  24. With the level of joy I have for blood, guts and mayhem...I'm a sucker for a good romance. I still love my last remaining daytime soap. But "shipping" makes me insane. Especially when it involves professional co-workers. If the show is defined to be a romance I'm okay.

The Kira and Scotts scenes usually work better than the early Scott Allison scenes. This ep was better for me than last week, but some times they do seem to be trying to hard. It's like having lost Allison they're struggling to define Scott/Kira in a way that doesn't duplicate Scott/Allison. On the other hand I can't think of a single miss with Stiles and Malia.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Not yet but since every character now has money problems they are bound to come back to it

    ReplyDelete
  26. I was leaning towards Argent too. I also hope we are wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  27. It will be understandable after losing his entire family (except the ones that should have been lost) but Argent has always been a noble character to me. He's lived by the code and used common sense and decency to make decisions. To be honest, I would much rather see him go on a killing spree himself than hire a bunch of other people to do it. That seems out of character for me, especially in grief.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Professional co-worker shipping is the hardest for me to take as well and it never has longterm consequences like it should. Urgh! I find the Scott and Kira scenes to be slightly less painful than Scott and Allison as a whole, but if they don't start learning to get out a sentence around each other I am going to run out of patience and socks to throw. They are way too awkward and it takes up way too much screentime to get to the point with them.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I'm wondering just how much of the money if going to be recovered. Surely the dead pool list is much bigger than what we saw and I doubt those freshmen are into financial security.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I think Kira falling down is the gif of the week.

    ReplyDelete
  31. See you are becoming a poll picking pro. :-) I also like the detective trio and I hope that Derek gets more time to work with people who are not teens or Peter. It was one of the unusual pairingsthat really made the episode for me. Plus Smart Sheriff is always a good thing. I really like how they both saved each other in the school. Oh and I think Scott's forgotten he's a werewolf so you can definitely be excused. Do money woes come with amnesia as well?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Completely understandable, i would be able to handle it.

I have too say, considering dropping this series. But this episode, convinced me to stick around. I started watching, a couple of months ago. Took a break between 3a and 3b. Then caught up, a couple of weeks before season 4.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I have been unimpressed by this season so far myself with last week's episode being the worst. I think this one was far better than the rest of season 4 but it still has some major flaws and I need things to improve vastly as the season continues.
