Besides star/co-creator Lisa Kudrow, Kellan Lutz and Malin Akerman are probably the biggest names among the alumni of HBO‘s cult comedy series The Comeback. After some juggling, I’ve learned that both are now set to reprise their roles as romantically linked Chris and Juna. None is expected to appear in all six episodes of the follow-up, which is starting production for a premiere as a limited series this fall.

I hope Lance Barber, AKA Paulie G., the showrunner of Room & Bored (the show in which Valerie gets cast), one of the greatest bad guys I've ever seen in a comedy, will also make an appearance. He was just effortlessly pure evil, and it was so funny to see him toy with Valerie.
ReplyDeleteI am really excited about this. This fall, HBO will have two very different takes on television with The Newsroom (I hope Sorkin reconsiders the final season thing) and The Comeback, both for only 6 episodes sadly.
