    Yeah, I really hope he doesn't wait until the end of the season to show us that they are all dead:
    a) all dead, Lost style;
    b) all dead but the FBI agent, who can see dead people.

    But they weren't all dead on Lost until the final season in the sideways story only, so if the whole town was dead it wouldn't be Lost like at all.
