I should probably stress that this could be a one off flashback appearance.

Unconfirmed rumors suggest he told people at Bloody Night Con that he would be back in a bigger capacity. But anyone could say that.

  2. I don't want to get my hopes up. Because as much as I would love for them to add Kol to the show I think it may just be a flashback and we may not see him in the present day.

  3. I hope he's somehow brought back to life. Very stupid to kill him right before you make a show called The Originals, but it would be nice to have at least one ep where they're all together. But a flashback will be nice too. Did they mention him more than once during season one, I recall only one time.

  4. Klaus mentioned Kol & Finn in 1x16. Rebekah also mentioned Kol when talking to Genevieve in a flashback to 1919. He was daggered in a flashback - 1x01 (as was Finn) when they arrived in NOLA on the ship. So I can think of at least 3 times that Kol was mentioned.

  6. Please let it be true!

  7. I'd like it, but that said if he does return please keep backstabbing to a minimum.

  8. Flashback for sure, julie hates the character. She would never allow the character to come back to full-capacity.He was an amazing character, however briefly we all saw him in TVD!! His death was ridiculous!

  9. Most likely Flashback. Nothing to get excited about. They already brought back Mikael, Esther and Finn (the lamest one) and that was good enough. Let's not get "resurrection happy" Quit while you're ahead JP.

  10. Most likely flashback or maybe it was him who came back with Esther and she will perform a spell to move his spirit back to his body. But still they have a lot to explain how Esther brought back one of her children.

  11. I only watched a few episodes of Vampire Diaries when it first came on. I just didn't care for brothers and their whole drama. It just wasn't for me but I like the Originals. However I am a little confused about things that are mentioned like their other two brothers and their mother and things that happened to them on Vampire Diaries. Can someone tell me if there is someplace I can check out to get a better understanding of that story of or if there are specific episodes of Vampire Diaries I could watch just to get an overview? Thanks

  12. Watching TVD won't help. TO writers have altered TVD mythology in an attempt to keep the shows separate, which isn't possible because TO is a spinoff and more and more TVD characters keep getting mentioned and brought onto TO. It's a mess. Hopefully Esther will be explained in better detail on TO so that fans will understand what the show is trying to do with her. She'll probably be painted in a different light on TO than she was on TVD.

  13. I'm very tired of hearing about Kol. As much as I liked Kol and Nate Buzolic, some people's obsession is getting ridiculous. If Kol is completely resurrected, that would just add another old character to a show that's already getting crowded.

If Nate Buzolic only had to take one day away from a convention, then I won't take it to mean that he's a regular on The Originals until I actually see it. If Kol does come back in the present and not just in flashback, then it probably happened off-screen in Season 1 of TO, or technically Season 5 of TVD, but it doesn't make sense to have him resurrected in his own body because characters on both shows either wouldn't have the capacity to do that or wouldn't want to do it. I think Nate Buzolic will appear as Kol in flashbacks while present-day Kol, if brought back, will be played by a different actor. I just don't see how Kol as he was would fit into the plot on TO, other than becoming the new Rebekah, causing so many problems that Klaus eventually has to send him out of town.

  14. Please, more Originals and less new characters trying to rule New Orleans. I'd like to see him coming back with Bonnie and Damon, since he was on TVD last season and we didn't see him going to oblivion.

  15. I totally agree! I liked him enough on TVD but I don't understand the obsession with bringing him back. Either way I don't care but it does strike me as an odd obsession now.

  16. I am not holding my breath, she has run both the shows to the ground along with caroline dries.

  17. Kol makes more sense than most of the other characters. The show is called The Originals and Kol is an Original so he belongs on the show more than a lot of the other characters. Kol to me fits into the show a lot better than Hayley (who they tried to force into the Original family by having Klaus knock her up) or Camille.

  18. Esther had 7 children. An unnamed son, Finn, Elijah, Nikalus, Kol, Rebekah and Henrik (in that order). The first son died in a plague so Esther & Mikael moved to a village of werewolves. Henrik was mauled to death by a werewolf so Esther & Mikael turned the remaining 5 children into vampires to protect them from the werewolves.

Klaus had Esther sealed in a coffin - Bonnie Bennett and her mother released he though. She first intended to rid of the Earth of vampires entirely (and undo the evil that she had created) by reversing the original spell and making her children human again and then killing them. Finn was good with ridding the earth of vampires for the greater good (hence most people thing he's the son she had with her in the season finale) and was helping her. Damon turned Abby Bennett into a vampire which cut Esther's power off (she was channeling their ancestral line) so her plan failed.

Esther later returned and turned Alaric into an Original and he killed her - but Klaus put her body back in the coffin and had been carting her around until TO 1x11 when they buried her.

  19. Thanks! That helps. One question, did Finn and Kol "die" when Esther's power was cut off?

    ReplyDelete
  20. No.

Finn was killed by Matt Donavon in mid Season 3 (which was absurd - Finn should have been able to easily kill him instead). Kol was killed by Jeremy Gilbert in one of the cheesiest death scenes in the entire show in mid Season 4 - the way it went down looked so silly and it was totally unbelievable given the mythology of the show.

  21. I still dont get how finn came back. I understand esther for she was a witch but finn was a vampire. Was it esther doing since she's a powerful witch and with the otherside falling apart?

  22. I don't care either way either. JP can bring Kol back any way she wants, or not bring him back as far as I'm concerned. This is getting to be like Delena for me. Shippers begged for it for too long before it happened, and by then it was ruined because people built it up too much.

  23. What article did she say she hate the character Kol?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Cole was tight with the witches. Someone could have done him a favor and brought him over and did a cloaking spell. Bonnie tumbled and Stefan helped up her and Stefan went through accidently. I imagine if Kol had an cloaking spell he could have walked on through. Who knows, but the writers could sell it like that. LOL

  25. Well, Monique died and so did the other witch, what was her name? So did Genivere. So I guess Kol could have come back. I mean if Ester came back in last witch's body from the harvest, then Finn could have hitched a ride and used the energy released from Monique to come back. And I imagine if Kol was surveying the situation, he could have snuck in? I don't know I just taking guess....LOL

Thanks :) I've posted it up with a reference you brought it to my attention.

  29. are you serious, why would anyone admit that he/she hates a particular character-she's not that dumb!! anyone who closely follows TVD for the past 5 years and all the interviews, would clearly know that she is obsessed with the caroline and hates the character kol.Try to read between the lines, not everything will be served up in a platter!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I wouldn't mind that much. As long as this show doesn't morph into a Elijah and Klaus constantly fighting over Hayley and neglecting ever other character and the baby and the whole Klaus' redemption and war for New Orleans storyline I'm happy.

  31. i have no idea what her name is (who cares shes dead and gone) lol
I wish she came back and recreated he original body or something for I liked that actor in tvd.
Kol should've escaped the other side. I mean i dont understand how they showed him once in tvd in the other side but then did nothing with him.

  32. I am not anyone and I find that she loves all her characters. I think you hate the character Kol and you want to believe that Kol won't be back. Bottom line is this is her story. Whether we like it or not. I like it enough to ask her to please tell me what happens next? I really don't care if she brings back Kol or Klaus real father of Mikael or Esther or Finn. IT IS HER story. AND I will keep on watching. Awesome story teller is what I describe Julie Pec as.

  33. To be serious,i admire your passion and respect for julie plec even though you're an clear minority in regard to this topic.Almost everyone hates her for ruining TVD after kevin williamson left in season 3.As for kol,you got it all wrong.I love the character kol and that's why i am frustrated that the character has been mistreated and overlooked. In TO,everyone pretends that he never existed. As for julie, sadly i don't share your enthusiasm but that's ok.Everyone has different opinions,so do you and i.

  34. Yeah I thought the same thing. I am guessing (just guessing before I am attacked by the anti-Kol crowd) that Kol did come back. I thought it was suspicious that Kol was talking to Matt about him needing to figure out what was happening to the other side. Julie Pec gave closure to the characters who were sucked into the void aka the air. But the only one we didn't see closure was Kol. Which means he is still is around. I am guessing since he was real tight with some witches, there could have been one or another who assisted in bringing him back. I mean some renegade witch who owed Kol a favor could have piggyback on the Twins(liz) ceremony and put a cloaking spell on him. Kol could have communicated with her. Just taking a guess.

  35. Sorry I didn't read your first post. My bad. I just read the other article and it looks like it will be some flashback scene. Then again the article stated he is having afterlife woes, what does that mean?

    ReplyDelete
  36. i really have no idea. This two show's mythology is so complex and convoluted,it makes my head spin sometimes! let's wait for the fall to see what actually happens after all.
