  3. How can Hayley be up and walking around like that right after giving birth?

  5. I actually think Hayley has a better dynamic with Klaus than she does Elijah. When Hayley & Klaus actually do get scenes together it feels much more organic to me. When Hayley is paired with Elijah it just feels forced to me and I've been of the opinion that the reason they don't pair Hayley & Klaus together more is because they're so desperate to force Hayley& Elijah together they don't want her interacting with Klaus (even though they should be interacting on a regular basis).

  6. One of the few times I prefer the American promo over the Canadian one.

Klaus and Hayley are end game. Clearly!

    ReplyDelete
  8. I really hope so, watching her and Elijah kiss grossed me out. It seems so forced, yet with Klaus its not forced. Plus they look awesome together.

    ReplyDelete
  9. 'yet with Klaus it's not forced'

umm...yeah...the definition of forced applies perfectly to Klaus and Hayley to me. They have zero chemistry, wich might be thanks to Phoebe Tonkins attrocious acting but going into a ship war again certainly won't bring us anything.
I can already see it 'Klayley vs. Haylijah' with Klayleys ending up as the new Klaroliners.

This is becoming another Shipper Diaries it seems -,-

  10. Elijah/Hayley is the first pairing on TVD/TO that actually grosses me out for whatever reason and I can't even stand to watch. I do have huge issues with Damon/Caroline & Damon/Andi because he was compelling them to be with him (thus taking away their consent making it rape) but it didn't really gross me out to see the characters together at the time.

    ReplyDelete
  11. It was always going to be that way though. That was apparent to me the second they made Elijah interested in Hayley the second he met her (thus making a Klaus/Elijah/Hayley love-triangle) and in episode 2 when they introduced the Rebekah/Marcel/Cami love-triangle. I think they should have kept Elijah away from Hayley and given him an independent love interest (someone not tied to Klaus), and left Rebekah & Marcel as friends. By forcing those to be romantic pairings instead if was obvious that it was going to be just as much about shipping as TVD is.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I'm going to assume you've seen the Klaus Hayley scene the actors clearly have chemistry. But with that kiss Elijah and Hayley had seemed more like she was kissing her brother. Why so much hate for Phoebe Tonkin, she's pretty good besides her accent.

  13. Stating your opinion as a fact won't make anything better

    ReplyDelete
  14. I didn't say anything about facts. Lol I'm sorry you don't have anything to say. Doesnt mean you need to make up things. Gosh I love the internet

    ReplyDelete
  15. You know, there're actually families like this out there. So you might want to keep the word 'gross' out of this ?

    ReplyDelete
  16. I just edited my post as you replied

God I love crazed shippers smh -,-

    ReplyDelete
  17. And I've never watched the vampire diaries in my life, saw the scene with Hayley and Klau on youtube.

    ReplyDelete
  18. So I guess that one scene got you invested ? Fantastic, I'll add that to my wall of stuff I've never heard a shipper say to justify their ship. Right next to 'Klayley made me feel again'

    ReplyDelete
  19. Your hilarious. I'm not even a shipper, I just don't see the, Hayley Elijah relationship as anything but forced. And I just like Klau and Hayley better. If you wanna fight with a crazed shipper as you called me their are plenty out there I'm not one of them though. I'm not as invested in this show as I am others. And even those shows I don't go ship crazy. The romantic stuff gets in the way of the good stuff, but the people want love triangles and romantic crap. And the writers give the people what they want. Lol crazed shipper, thanks for the laugh I needed it. :)

    ReplyDelete
  20. Good then, there're people out there that actually insulted families in similar situations by calling out words like 'gross' and 'disgusting'. As someone that hails from a family with similar conditions (only that the father left entirely) I take personal offense a lot.

I don't even care for Hayley.
The only thing I'm really scared about is this turning into Klaus vs. Elijah. Something this must never become.

I agree on romance holding up these shows, wich is why I jumped that post. Someone posting a shipper video amidst a promo with little to no relation to the subject does tick me off. You seemed like a shipper so I shall apologize.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I'm convinced that they were pushing Hayley and Elijah simply to use his likability. She wasn't received too well by the fandom, the reaction to her was pretty much the polar opposite to Elijah.

That being said I'm completely underwhelmed with Tonkin, her performance in the last episodes is on the classic CW level, a level 'The Originals' used to elevate above. Joseph, Daniel, Claire, Leah and even Danielle are pretty damn good, Meanwhile Tonkin stands out as a emotionless chop of wood and when she does they're just utterly ridiculous. Her scream in that church scene didn't terrify me, it had me go 'oh my god. What a sh*tty actress'..

Having her as the second lead at this point is just hurting the show in my opinion.

But I went off topic on that: I agree, I don't want either Hayley/Elijah nor Hayley/Klaus to be a thing. I'm comfortable with little doses of Klaus and Camille, they seem to build a proper connection leading into Klaus redemption thus making their relationship fairly useful to the storyline. As for Elijah...I don't care who he ends up with as long as he doesen't get de-badassed (what happens with Hayley).

On that note: I don't see chemistry on either part. I see that they used Daniel as an acting-crotch to carry their scenes but that's about it.

But like many others do with some relationships: Hayley and Klaus' shared scenes just make me want to switch off my TV while I can partially endure Hayley and Elijah. Wich is the only thing speaking for them

    ReplyDelete
  22. While it's a TV show I did the mistake to engage too much with the fandom, a place that gets really nasty. So therefore I do take that stuff personal, I just can't get around that.
It's like having gay parents on a TV show with the classic homophobes coming on and bashing that. You simply don't do that out of decency. But apparently we haven't reached that level in human evolution yet.

Also I'm partially scared for the show, 'The Vampire Diaries' was torn down by the writers satisfying shippers to get the more popular couple to the forefront. While the writers should have gone the way they intended to, nevermind the less popular couple, the story ALWAYS should come first. In the case of TVD this didn't happen and look what happened: season 4 and 5 stand for the lowest quality on theCW.

I'm a shipper of both coupled. I like Klaus and Hayley right now.... Cause they are having a baby. Also Elijah has to fix is facial expressions when kissing. Ugh! Is all I'm saying!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. I love Elijah and Hayley together. When Hayley's life was at risk, Klaus ONLY cared about saving his child. He said, "I will rip it out of her!" Why would anyone want Klaus with Hayley after that horrible comment? He could care less about Hayley's well being! BUT Elijah wanted to save her life as well as the baby's. That's the difference here. Klaus only cares about his child. I think that scene sealed that Klaus/Hayley would never work because Elijah is the one who loves Hayley. Elijah is the one who always protects and keeps her safe. That's her man. Not Klaus. Also, the chemistry between Elijah and Hayley is the best!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Endgame? This is the same man who could care less about Hayley's life. When she was close to death, did he care about her safety? No, he said that he'd RIP his child out of her. Wow. Why would anyone want Klaus with Hayley after that horrific comment? He was ready to KILL Hayley just to get his child out of her. While, Elijah said that he wants to keep HER and the baby both safe. And it's Elijah always protecting Hayley and caring about what SHE wants. But no let's root for the man who wanted to RIP his child out of a woman close to death...not giving a damn about her life at all.

    ReplyDelete
  26. But the problem is by pushing Hayley onto Elijah I started to dislike Elijah because of his obsession with Hayley. Elijah really has not really had a plot-line or story-line of his own. He even killed the love of his life (Celeste) to protect Hayley and didn't seem the least bit broken up about it afterwards - there was zero fallout from something that could have been a good story-line for him. His entire character now revolves around Hayley and I feel like they totally assassinated Elijah's character for Hayley.

I could see Klaus & Hayley developing a friendship and co-parenting their child. Klaus at first was in denial about the baby but he's had months now to deal with it so by the time the season started he had already started to come around and realized he wanted the baby (which is why he was so furious when he heard Hayley tried to abort it in 1x02 and Rebekah realized he did care about the baby). I think Hayley & Klaus have some similar personality traits - they've both impulsive, feel abandoned by their parents (Hayley's parents kicked her out of the house when she triggered her werewolf cure, Mikael & Esther put the hybrid curse of Klaus to "fix" the fact that he was a werewolf so they were both shunned by their families for being born werewolves), they've both been driven by the need to have a family (Hayley and her search for her werewolf clan, Klaus and his desire to make hybrids so he wouldn't be the sole member of his race), and so forth. So I could see Klaus & Hayley being able to come to an understanding and work together going forward.

Hayley & Elijah have absolutely nothing in common aside from the fact that Elijah is obsessed with the baby.

Hayley & Elijah also came out of nowhere. Elijah has been more or less obsessed with her since Sophie informed him Klaus had gotten her pregnant. He was making moon-eyes and swearing to protect a complete stranger the moment that he met her and they've really had no development beyond that as far as I can see - so it doesn't feel at all organic. Klaus & Hayley though I can see how their relationship has evolved over time and that feels much more organic to me. Klaus wasn't in love with her the second that he found out she was pregnant or anything.

    ReplyDelete
  27. This right here is a crazed shipper lol. Have at it mac. Lol

    ReplyDelete
  28. Klaus fed Hayley his blood and he did want to save her and was willing to let Genevieve save her life (Elijah was not). If Hayley really was dead he wanted to try and save the baby though by cutting it out so the baby wouldn't die along with Hayley. He was panicked and desperate.

Had Genevieve not done the spell to break Monique's spell Hayley probably would have died. Elijah was not going to let Genevieve do the spell so she would have died because of Elijah. Klaus on the other hand was willing to try anything to save Hayley including allowing Genevieve to try and do what she could to help.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Celeste wasn't just the love of his life but also the monster that came back from the death just to destroy his family. Killing her wasn't because of Hayley but because of what she has done against him, Klaus AND Rebekah.
Elijah is still who he used to be, even more than on TVDs fourth season. Someone attacks the child ? He snaps her neck. Someone rips his sister away from him ? He treats this person unkindly (despite Klaus banging him/her).

Elijah is actually more in-character than before.

That being said: she is his storyline, wich is annoying beyond belief. But also partly the fault of the writers sole focus on Klaus.

Elijah could have had his own storyline yet the writers spent WAY too much time on developing Klaus storyline this season. That way Elijah became a player in Klaus arc and didn't even get his own.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I don't see a 'Haylijah 4ever' there, Klaus did do these things. And that's part of the reason I couldn't root for them.
And while the Elijah part is true, that's EXACTLY the obnoxious part about Haylijah -.-

Now she's not crazy and has a point: why root for the guy that did all this stuff ? I HAVE NO DAMN IDEA ?

It's the same with Damon ? Why root for the guy that snapped the girls brothers neck on more than one occasion because 'he was hurt'.

Klaus and Hayley ring abusive to me in that aspect, sorry Nicole that's not THAT crazy.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I couldn't quite figure out why i was losing interest in haylijah (when i really liked them in the first 4-5 episodes), and I think you said it perfectly. It's definitely taken a turn where it's more interesting watching Klaus/JoMo and Hayley/Tonkin interact than her with Elijah/Daniel.

Especially when two people are having a kid together, whether they love each other or not, you'd think the characters would have more important scenes together. So naturally when I see Elijah and Hayley centric scenes instead, it feels cumbersome to the story flow.

    ReplyDelete
  32. idek about endgame or if we'd even get that far (im in a pessimistic mood what with all these shows getting axed), but i definitely want to see more Klaus and Hayley scenes. Perhaps then they'd have more room to organically have some character growth. hopefully the baby/hayley survives and stays with the mikaelsons.

There may be families that have this dynamic, but one can still have an opinion about them. It's not everyone's cup of tea. Personally I think it's great drama soapy angsty fun! I love both couples... But I can still have an opinion on them. Real life should have no place on a show based on creating escapism for it's viewers. :)

  35. Klaus and Hayley are end game?I am sorry but i am laughing now!!!!
Klaus and Hayley was one night stand and only and because she is pregnant he only cares about the child.Period.
Where is the romance???Oh,you assume that the baby will bring love between 2 people? In what world? And if the baby dies, what next?
Klaus and Hayley is completely forced and it's not working.

One can only hope that the backstabber dies! If she dies then the baby lives, and quite frankly I am all about the baby living!!

I am all about your comment!

Exactly, it is about character growth. I believe that by coming together as parents that the characters, esp Klaus will be able to lay some of his demons to rest!

  38. Bertha Strongarm11 May 2014 at 03:44

Why compare TVD with TO they are different shows and universes. I don't see them in any way the same, except that they are about vampires.

I say Klaus and Hayley forever, because they are parents...they will always be joined and be in each others lives.

I like them together for right now, Klaus and Hayley that is, because they are sooo inviting as a couple. They each have their stuff to work out with one another as parents before they can start relationships with other people.

  39. Is it me or is Daniel's accent/Elijah-voice off at the end of this promo?

    ReplyDelete
  40. Bertha Strongarm11 May 2014 at 03:47

I'm with you, Hayley and Elijah are not working right now, because the writers need to work on the whole Klaus and Hayley relationship along with baby. They are all great couples, but right now Klaus and Hayley are smex!

    ReplyDelete
  41. TVD and TO are the definition of shows that are in the same universe. The plot about Mikael coming back is made possible by the Other Side being broken during events which occurred in The Vampire Diaries.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Bertha Strongarm11 May 2014 at 04:18

I think the universes are similar and can be affected by one thing happening in one world, etc...but they are clearly different. Why call the shows different names if they were the same? Why happen in mystic falls and New Orleans....if they were the same? Why do the characters of one show inhabit a different space and or place if they were the same?

    They are similar....but clearly different!

  43. It's not just you.

  44. Holy cow! i scrolled down the comments and I am just speechless...it's used to be klaroliners, now i feel like all their fans are converted into haylijah or klayley and just keep on fighting among each other.
It's like Delena and Stelena, except that Nina Dobrev is a fantastic actress, so people actually care about who Elena chooses. Now it's klaus fans vs Elijah fans who don't want their favorite to lose, even if the price is unworthy.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Bertha Strongarm11 May 2014 at 18:34

Its win win in my book for either of the characters. I am liking the chemistry right now between Klaus and Hayley....It reminds of Clark and Chloe, or like Oliver and Felicity.....I also like the fact that they are going to be parents. This for me is a new thing for the CW, I see few child oriented storylines in any of the shows. Its like beautiful show people don't procreate. Hayley and Elijah are also hawt, except we know as viewers that Hayley is not Elijah's one and only, cause apparently Celeste was (all consuming love, I believe Elijah referred to it as). I think Sara or Mac referred to something in their earlier posts about Elijah needing his own circle of friends or something.....right now he seems like a plot convention or tool to move the plot forward, rather then a character in his own right.

I also think that it is time for Klaus to get some, like really, the guy has suffered enough in the relationship stakes. How will the character grow and get in touch with his human side if he can never be in a relationship. Like a real relationship, where one has to care more about the other person then plotting the next big power grab. Its kinda why I want the baby to stick around, as caring for the baby, as a father should, will move the character more towards being ready to be in a relationship with someone other then mad-capped schemes of grabbing power. I also think that Klaus and Hayley have a lot in common, she is the only woman that is not all that afraid of him and gives it to him as good as he dishes it out. Frankly, she will have to remain untouched if the child lives....as he said it, the baby will need both parents.

I just love this show, and whatever they decide with the romance equation will work for me. Perhaps it is a matter of Hayley not being with either brother.....this may create more tension. It may even allow for more character growth to occur. Definitely Elijah needs his own things to do in the show, other then to be Klaus's wing guy. Elijah is a great character! Develop him writers! Klaus deserves a love interest....or at the very least deserves to be healed a little.

  46. Does anyone know who is saying "This is our family home." or was it "This was our family hope"? What is Marcel doing there? I swear I am scared he is gonna take Klaus' baby.
