The Flash - John Wesley Shipp's Role Revealed

Since news of John Wesley Shipp's top-secret casting on The Flash back in February, there has been speculation over who he was playing. Now, the secret is out.

Shipp will be playing Barry Allen's (Grant Gustin) father in The CW's Arrow spinoff, The Hollywood Reporter can reveal. He is first seen in the premiere episode of The Flash and will recur throughout the show's run.

    Mmm...I think theirs more to the role though. If he's just Barry's father then why hide it?

  7. People figured it out from the trailer, but it's really cool that he has a role on The Flash and that it's Barry's jailed dad, I'm sure he'll be great.
