  1. Good. I'm a fan of shorter seasons. It keeps the storytelling focused.

  2. Really glad production started so early. Hopefully that means they will take advantage of the time to make sure the plotting is tight and I hope it will equal slightly better (although they were strong already) visual effects and even better music/editing. I don't know they'll take advantage of the time to improve the show in every area but I hope so, haha)

  3. If filler-free those 18 should be amazing. Can't wait!

  4. I only kind-of agree, since it seems like people have been using the word "filler" pretty freely these days. Season 1 is great, but many of the episodes felt overly rushed, like they were in a hurry to get to this point to this point. It is fun viewing, but I've noticed on repeat viewing it's not as satisfying as it would be if they'd take time to flesh out the characters. If that means an episode where the stakes are less high for the time being, then so be it. I feel like Ichabod is still a stranger to the audience. He and Abby had a few nice moments, like the baseball game, but there needs to be more of the characters being people. And maybe even ONE case that turns out to not be directly related to Moloch, perhaps, but representative of the overall evil descending on Sleepy Hollow...just something where it's not "if we don't stop this in this episode it could mean the Apocalypse arrives tomorrow!"

It's kind of hard to explain what I mean exactly. In Supernatural the main plots will get a few episodes and then sometimes totally ignored for a couple of episodes. I don't want that at all. But, as long as we get a good story that expands the SH universe, and the characters in a meaningful way, I am more than happy with episodes that maybe aren't 100% necessary. It all comes down to the approach they take, I suppose, and if it's "oh crap, we can't stretch this out this far, let's do a body-switching episode!" or more "oh this is something really interesting, let's take a minute to explore it".

  5. I get what your trying to say, and yea if they can pull it off well that would be great.

  6. Yes, I agree, when I say filler I don't count character development episodes or stuff like that, I mean like some procedurals have (ex. Elementary) where you can tell the episode's just there to fill the slot and adds nothing to the story or the characters. And are often quite boring or as one would say, meh.

  7. Great. This show was off the air far too soon last season.

  8. Whats weird is that John Noble signed up in the knowledge that there was only a limited number of episodes. Now that he is a semi regular, hes just learned he has 5 more episodes a season to be possibly in. Hes on record stating that he dosnt want to do 22-24 season shows anymore.

I gave up after like 6 episodes, is it worth powering through and watching the whole season or is there a fair chance its just not my cup of tea. Fans? Thoughts?

  10. I thought the series finale was excellent and I'm not one to be shocked by shows but it really took me by surprise, consider catching up its only 7 eps and if you don't like it by the end then its definitely not for you.

  11. Providing this is still on the same vein as season 1, it should be excellent :)

This is wonderful news! I definitely wanted more episodes in Season 1.
