  1. Awesome episode. This show better get a second season it definitely deserves it!

  2. Poor John. He just can't catch a break. He gets his powers back, can also kill (am I correct?) and to top it off, loses his memory. If the show gets renewed his attempts to recruit Cara and the others could be a very good story line.

Another major development was Stephen's new ability - to go back in time?

  3. GREAT EPISODE!! Renew TTP!

  4. If it's a series finale, then it works well. They tied up the current storyline and everyone's happy (for the moment). It would definitely make for an interesting second season for sure but, if it doesn't happen, at least we have some closure.

  5. OMG ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?! THEY END IT LIKE THAT AND WE MAY NEVER SEE IT AGAIN!!!!! NOOOOOOOO!!!!!! My emotions are all over the place!!! I'm sad, mad, happy, hyped, nervous!! Especially nervous!!! That was really really good. And i want to break down and i can't.

First of all, i just really need to give it up to Stephen HELL FREAKING YEAH!!!! I ROOTED MY ASS OFF FOR HIM!! I'm surprised no one called the cops on my ass. I made some serious noise in the building. lol I can't believe his new powers!!! Omg!!! That was awesome...SUCK IT FOUNDER!!!

John!!!! My baby!!!! Cleans up good!!! But F*CKING A!!! Jedikiah is such an asshole!!! I knew i couldn't trust him!! Even if he did have that special moment with Roger and John!! Didn't i say last week, that he can dominate the world AFTER he tried saving Roger?!?! I DID!!! I wasn't joking!!

Cara. My jaw DROPPED in that moment. I still like her. And Russell, even though i was pissed at him. But they totally kick ass together, and their fight scenes were awesome.

My girl Astrid!!! She's the best. And JASTRID AS A TEAM WAS BADASS!!! I LOVEDDD THAT ROOF SCENE!!! Omg my heart breaks for her. She got her man, and now he's gone. God dammit JEDIKIAH!!! But Astrid really held her own tonight.

As always i loved Astrid and Stephen's cutesy scenes, and the walk in the park was adorable. R.I.P to Roger Jameson. AND OMG I HOPE TIM IS OK!!!! HE WAS ALL SHOT UP!!! Did he survive that?? He's like Jarvis' cousin he can't die!!! And where the hell is Natalie?!?!?! She's the one that needs to die!!!! They can't just forget about her!!

God, i'm going to miss this show soooo much, and i fear for the ratings, and the announcement that seals their fate. And if it's worth anything, thank you to TPTB, for this awesome, would could have been more awesome show, had it got a season 2. I am not disappointed in staying with the show.

Favorite lines of the night. Stephen: "Who are all these people?" Cara: "They're break outs." "Awesome....why are they all staring at me?" (LOL). Russell: "I'm gonna go do some fighting calisthenics." John: "You know what the best part about being human was? You."

  7. pretty good finale (hopefully not the last) pretty good action but some of the writing/editing left a little to be desired: Jed's arc has been a bit confusing - from bad guy o good-ish guy, and now bad-ish guy(?) at the end with the reboot of John 2.0... and the editing from the attack on Ultra - Natalie went from confronting Russell to appearing on the ground to shoot Cara, ok I assume that she took down Russell, but they could've at least showed a bit of that. The one thing that I didn't get that why did any human Ultra workers stay there when it seemed that the Founder's plan to destroy all humans by just stopping them in time (kinda seemed like a lame way of destroying as compared to obliterating them imo), seemed to be well known and talked about pretty loudly... I figure that it's a budgetary thing, but it would've been nice to see some of the other charcters in this ep when it would've made sense: Marla, Luka (they lost their husband/father again...), Morgan and even Irene and Charlotte would've been good to see one last time if this is the end.....overall pretty good ep and I do hope that there is another season.

  8. I can deal with this being the final episode even though it was a cliffhanger. The brainwashing story would make for an interesting season 2 if it does out of the blue happen though.

And what the hell? It took 22 episodes but Stephen and Cara actually finally have some chemistry. Still not as good as john/astrid but it was miles ahead of the way they were forced in the early episodes.

I would love to see season 2 though to see what they do with time and where the Stephen character goes with it.

  9. I thought most of the episode was pretty good although I thought someone was going to die in the finale so I was expecting Cara to just be dead and was puzzled that she didn't remain that way. The ending confused me though (no idea what happened to John or how he lost his memory) - so I wish they would have left it off and I'll just ignore it.

    ReplyDelete
  10. John got powers again by taking Roger's DNA. How he was brainwashed is unknown and would probably be explored next season.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Or he again played around with the DNA like he had been last episode to engineer something. We only see him alter it to give himself powers. It could be he altered it again.

    ReplyDelete
  12. My jaw was still on the floor from Cara being dead when Stephen turned back time...because I'm almost positive that's what he did. If he had actually gone back and prevented the shooting, Cara wouldn't have felt weird after. For a second I thought (hoped) it would go far enough back to be back Roger, but no dice, damn it. And where did that portal lead? And why didn't Cara go after John when she felt him break out?

it wasn't a perfect episode and the editing at some points left something to be desired, but I enjoyed it. If it doesn't get renewed, it was a satisfactory conclusion to the season. If it does, I really want to find out what else Stephen can do, and for TTP to free John from Jed's clutches. I'm thinking Jed had a taste of what it was like to have powers and his agenda changed to wanting to making it happen again only permanently. He'd need funding for that.

    And YAY no more Ultra!

  13. I wish they hadn't ended on a cliffhanger because I don't think the show's gonna make it to the second season, even if I'd like it to.
Besides that point I'm bummed about how they got rid of Roger, it should at least have been epic but, it was just like Hillary's death, both seemed to be just to take the characters out of the way, and that is to me bad writing.
The rest of the episode I loved, Astrid and John were sweet even if he was drulling over Cara most of the time.
I'm glad he got his powers back and if there was another season I'm sure they'd give him his memories back.
Stephen's new powers rock, and I love the new breakouts' arc, it made me exited for a season I don't think we'll get. I know I'm a pesimist but I rather be surprised in a good way than a bad one.

  14. Jedikiah is all about control. Hes never satisfied with the control he has, so it stands to reasons he would have plans for his current situation.

the portal was to limbo. that was revealed in an earlier spoiler that someone would be stuck in limbo in the final episode.

  16. Thanks for the clarification! Now I'm wondering how the founder will spend his time there with whatever remains of the machine...

    RENEW RENEW RENEW PLEASE

  18. It was a great episode. The Founder and Stephen's fight was actually pretty epic, Astrid and John's time-stop kiss was so cute, and Cara's "death" was shocking. There were some minor issues with this episode, but more than anything I'm impressed with how much they wrapped up the storylines. I sincerely doubt it gets renewed, but if so, I look forward to Jed/soldierJohn, Stephen's new powers, and whatever effects Stephen had on Cara.

    ReplyDelete
  19. At least they brought up Morgan and the baby. Same with Irene. But i would've loved if they showed Charlotte again.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Very well said. = )

  21. I cheered so much during Stephen and the Founder's fight scene. That was awesome! Go Stephen, put that dude in his place! The Jastrid scene was cute. But i liked the train scene with them. Astrid teaching him the ways of the train. (love the s/o to Queens. Yes John plz come to Queens. haha). and how he promised he'd make it up to her. i'm actually curious to know where they were going, b/c Astrid was pretty dressed up. i'm really curious about John and i feel so bad for him. I seriously think Jed had this planned from the time he was watching those home movies of him and John at Ultra. I lovee that Stephen can rewind time for a few seconds (or maybe a minute) and i would love to see more of that. Very curious of Cara's condition since she can still feel the effects 2 weeks later.

  22. Smallest, trivial issue, but the signs on the train said "Downtown" meaning the subway was heading downtown, but Astrid said they would end up in Queens unless they transferred to the 6. This doesn't work because Downtown trains don't go to Queens, they go to Brooklyn. They could have been on the 7, E, M, N, Q, or R, all of which go to Queens and transfer to the 6, but none of them would be Downtown-bound.

Great episode i hope for season 2 !!!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Seriously?? That's your issue?? LMAO I'm not gonna lie that bugged me too. But i shook that off b/c it wasn't something to dwell over. Downtown trains go to BK and Manhattan. They could've been coming from Downtown Manhattan, b/c you could take that train, (the 5 or 6) back uptown and transfer from there.

  25. i was impressed with luke mitchell acting but not a fan of stephen .i m in some sorta on again off again thing with this show

  26. The ending was pretty good. I actually preferred last week's episode to the finale, which I found a bit predictable...except for the part at the end with RoboJohn. It does suck that the guy can't get a break. Loved Astrid in this episode, especially her scenes with John I wish they hadn't killed off Roger. Plus, I don't get why giving John Roger's powers wiped out his memory, especially since it didn't happen to Jed with Irene's powers.

If the show gets renewed (fingers crossed), I'm curious to know what the central theme will be. It never made sense that they would want to kill off all humans; they need to have a more plausible plot. I also think that it would help to showcase the characters that appeal to viewers. Stephen's OK, but John continues to be my favorite of the three leads.I don't mind Cara, but her scenes continue to drag, as do the scenes with her and Stephen and I think they should start focussing more on other characters. The episode with the best ratings (since the premier) was the one that focussed a lot on John and Astrid, so I'm surprised the writers haven't tried to capitalize more on that. As for Russell,...I'm not as forgivijng as Stepehn! And Jedekiah....I oscillate between liking him and wanting Steve to hit him with a few of those TK blasts, but the actor is terrific I particularly enjoyed his scenes with John, Marla and Irene the most.

  27. It was a bit overhyped ("humans die, Tomorrow People die, Everst-sized cliffhanger"), but it was great nonetheless. I kind of kept waiting for a main character to die (Cara was my candidate twice when she was thrown through the glass and when Natalie shot her), but the cast works well together so I'm fine without a death. I still hope for a second season, but the finale resolved nearly all storylines of the season.

  28. Awesome episode. Yea this need to be renewed.

The fight with Stephen and the Founder was really well done. HE is stuck for now, but he is like someone who can always return for endgame and stuff.

Sly Jed, always having a plan up his sleeve, formed a new unnamed Ultra like organization with John/-minus memory as lead with Rogers gene powers. I wonder if he just got his powers back plus memory loss, or he also got a boost because of where his powers source came from, and which also includes stopping time, either way Stephen being TCO, it still won't be more powerful then Stephen's. John will have more experience and control tho.
    - their first recruit thing seems interesting, wonder why Jed would think that plan would even work. It is most likely a plot line, that triggers the 2 groups meeting again to learn what has become of Jed and John, which would be a long plot by the TTP to save John while also dealing with the breakout of the week.

  29. It was a really great episode until the superhuman army crap. I was actually happy that they gave us a satisfying ending without any cliffhangers, but they pull that crap at the end. Let's face it, the show is not getting renewed. I would be excited about season 2 with that storyline if the ratings were better, but now I ma just gonna pretend that the superhuman army crap didn't happen so I am not disappointed when the show gets cancelled.

P.S: I lost count of the times I really wanted to slap Natalie.

  30. I feel the same way about that cliffhanger, the show is not getting renewed.

They can't cancel it after THIS EPIC FINALE!!!

  34. I would like to vote AMAZING!!!! The scene where Cara is shot was one of the best I have seen in a while on any show. The director and editor should be proud! Not sure that I like Stephen and Cara together though. Unless he can melt the ice queen, I think he could do better. I was confused for a moment when John was all cleaned up. I thought it was a flashback and that all along his mission had been to get Cara and Russell making him Jed's teammate for the whole season. That part could have been explained better (or I am an idiot and was expecting a big reveal!).

I like the finale. Loved the fight scene between Stephen and the Leader. While I love the scenes of Astrid and John, it's always tainted by his Cara feelings. I still could care less about Cara and Stephen. Cara does seems to understand Johns feeling towards Astrid, and acted on them, convincing John to go to Astrid another human, even if John does not.
John getting Roger powers, does that mean he has Rogers memory? Cara hearing John, makes her appear more in tuned to him now (the way she had a bond with Stephen). Jed, disappointed me as he's back to manipulating John. He put Cara before John as a carrot. So, if there's a next season, do Jed and John realize the carrot should have been Astrid.
I grudgingly accept, that TTP accepted Russell back, but I'm dragging my feet. Russell will have to kill Natalie, to get on my good side. And...so, is Natalie a plant? I thought she was. TTTP will be fighting to find her next season, along with fighting Jed, and his Man in Black, John (who is so hot in either distressed leather jackets, or that suit).
John and Jed, are the more intriguing duo. Their father/son role is wonderful. I hope there is a season two. I want to see what happens as Jedi manipulates Robo John.

I'm bit disappointed lol(not on the finale) Robbie spoke in a interview that 5 characters would die towards the season finale, 2 die last Monday and 3 main characters were suppose to die. Cara died once Roger died again unless they counting it twice but doubt it, so who was suppose to be the final one?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Well, this is exactly why i DON'T read spoilers. I go along with the show. So that way i feel no need to worry about stuff like this and get "disappointed". So i know nothing of what you're saying right now. However, if you're asking for my opinion. I would have to say John. He didn't die literally, but he is technically gone. Jedikiah wiped him out. That's all i got....Wait, what two died last Monday? Nobody died last Monday. The one's that are dead are Hilary, Roger, Cara died and came back. The Founder is in Limbo, that's 4. The 5th to me would be John. Metaphorically anyway.

  43. Yeahhh, I'm totally waiting for CW's decision. As I told someone earlier. I'm not listenint to anyone's opinion, actors, creators, muggles. Lol I'm just going to wait for the Main source's announcement. But I g2g. Trying to watch my remaining 3 Shows of the night.
