TOO FREAKIN' AWESOME! Queen Vic in the loony bin... R.I.P. Aiden & Conrad... Charlotte believing Jack was solely responsible for the kidnapping... Daniel being framed for murder... and welcome back from the dead David Clarke!
OHH MY GOSH!!! That was a really great Season Finale! I can not wait until next season. I also cant wait for Emily to find out that her dad is alive!!!!
I liked it up until the dreadful moment David appeared. I kind of had a feeling it might happen this episode, but the whole thing was so stupid. Seriously, what's the point of the show at this point? I'm really not a fan of David being alive. Sigh..
What is the proposal for bringing David Clarke for life? I was loving this episode until this part..Hope this cliffhanger is a dream of Conrad in jail.
What! I knew David Clark wasn't dead kinda of happy Aiden died never like his character when did Charlotte become so perecptive can't wait for Emily to found out her father is alive good finale
I'm really glad that Revenge was renewed, because this season finale was pure awesome! So many cliffhangers and twists..everything will be drastic different at the beggining of S4..and omg, can't wait for this!
You do know that was the point right? Emily's entire reason for revenge was based around father, but he's not actually dead. And why does that mean all of her actions are undone? Her motivation was real, even if it was based off of misinformation. The choice to make David live doesn't erase anything, it puts it all into a new light.
What will be her motivation now? What's next? Will she be able to reconcile what she's done? Those are just a few questions that need to be answered, and those questions only exist because of her actions in the past.
I get that but it doesn't mean I like it. It basically feels like a desperate attempt to drag something out. Besides, it was predictable and cheap. David was never meant to be alive and it shows, even Mike Kelley at one point said he would never do it. It's a shame that such a promising and fun show turned into such a joke.
Yeah but It just seems like Emily's part is over Conrad's dead Victorias been locked up what else is she suppose to do the finale was really starting to look like shifting from Emily getting revenge to probably Charlotte.
See if Victoria keeps her composer she can actually tell her everything she needs to know, Charlotte already knows that Victoria didn't dig up Amanda's grave Emily admitted herself to Charlotte, then she can find out Emily kidnapped her and try to find out who killed Conrad.
That's not what will happen. I think you should at least watch the promos for next season, cause as a lot of what happened in this ep, we never really know what's going to happen next.
Emily initially wanted Revenge to clear her fathers name of crimes he did not commit. She never knew Conrad ordered his death until midway through season one. Therefore her revenge today will not be undone because David is alive. She succeeded at what she sought out to do, clear his name and take the Graysons down for it.
David being alive now makes things more interesting, especially for Emily and the impact it will have on her going forward. Plus she now has a new surge of revenge towards Victoria for killing Aiden.
Yeah, it's near impossible to say what's going to happen next, but I think that's all the more reason to be excited. The fact that we are so clueless means that the show will probably be incredibly satisfying once the path is illuminated. The show can become anything it wants to now, and I believe it will be great, as so far the writers haven't failed me once: sure, there's an episode or two I didn't believe to be as great as the others, but with the whole run of this show I came to trust the writers a lot.
Also, isn't Victoria being locked up one of the best scenes ever made in this show?
Good season finale, but the twist are so boring, David Clarke beeing alive was predictable, Conrad death was predictable, I love see Victoria go down like that.
So this is the end for me, I will be back watch when the announce the final season.
Did anyone else think the rage filled Emily was digging the grave for Victoria's body after she walloped her with the shovel? Revenge is so much fun. It's definitely got its mojo back this season. Watching Em's strut out of the wacky ward was just priceless. The scene of Victoria strapped to the bed in the mental hospital is ripped right out of those old, B-grade insane asylum movies like Snake Pit. The biggest shocker was Conrad being stabbed. Is it possible he wasn't mortally wounded? The close up of the knife going into him seemed to linger on the wound a little longer than I would have expected (maybe that's meaningless and only meant to convey that he is, in fact, dead), This is Conrad after all, the bad penny that keeps turning up. And while the murderer sure looked like David Clarke, Victoria's personal assistant/body guard had a passing resemblance to Clarke, also. Nicely played, Revenge.
I am gonna miss Aiden he and Emily loved each other...I figured he would be killed tonight but I am glad Conrad was killed and Victoria was institutionalized.
Don't really know what to write, besides how much pissed off I am about Aidens death, even tho I knew it was coming. Season 3 rly should be final, cuz I don't like what they just did.
Several unexpected twists. Well, if the intent was to let the audience know that things will be shaking up next season....message received. I'm stunned that Aiden got killed off. (Happy that they didn't do the 'Victoria frames Emily' cliche. I'm not too unhappy that Conrad got killed off. He won too much for my taste...and I think having Daniel being a less perfect Conrad will be more interesting. Honestly, I'm just really interested in what direction the show will be going next season. My mind's still a little blown by the fact that the characters that we're so used to seeing come out on top..were clearly not. It's been a really long time since so many events happened that I did not see coming, happen in one show.
I was totally expecting Victoria to wake up in that grave. When the van pulled up behind Conrad I expected it to be Emily and that she was going to bury Conrad and Victoria together...ALIVE. LOL Liked their choice better.
I loved it this is what I loved about Revenge season 1, that it is not afraid to take risks or to get dark. This was a bat Sh.. final and I loved every minute of it.
When David appeared and killed Corand, that was the end of this show for me. It's ridiculous to have him alive and killing my favorite character in the same scene. Bye bye Revenge, it was fun for the first 2 seasons!
I really enjoyed the final, the only thing I hate about it is BRINGING Papa Clarke back. It's a bit desperate, A watch killer for me I'm done with Revenge.
So I found this comment on TVLine..And God do I hope they are right.
"It WAS a dream. Watch those last two scenes closely and read between the lines of what Sunil is saying. It’s Victoria’s dream of what she’d like to happen (David Clarke getting revenge on Conrad). In another article, Sunil warned to closely watch the last two scenes. Well, we see a hazy, foggy image of Conrad walking down the street before a hooded David Clarke appears and stabs him. As he bleeds out and David’s truck backs away, it fades to white with the next scene being Victoria waking from her shovel induced beating in the psych ward. Conrad isn’t dead, folks, and Sunil’s answers above about that very topic are telling indeed."
basically i wanted Emily to put victoria, conrad, pascal, daniel, michele banks and gideon into a padded cell, where they all just kill each other. not even joking. i hate all the bad guys. i want them all dead.
I think next season we should have Team Emily, Charlotte and David into a padded cell and talk all this shit out. They all need to talk, fight and cry into each others arms.
oh, Aiden died, oooh..I'm so shoocked.....sure...I'm veeery shocked... The other death on the other side...it was just....redicilous...I mean seriously, now everything Amanda's done is for naught, and yeah, we lost like...the best character on this show except for Nolan I guess...but..good executed EP. anyway, and now, at least everything's changed, I wonder how season 4 will be..
There was something odd about Conrad in the church, then walking out dressed like a clergy and then being stabbed by David Clarke on a dark, isolated road. I don't believe David Clarke is alive and my guess is what happened to Conrad was a dream, fueled by whatever sliver of guilt his character has left, For all we know, Conrad could have been severely beaten in the prison and in a coma. The entire scene felt very dreamlike and surreal.
Outstanding episode, it should have been the series finale. In any case, it's the last episode I'll ever watch. This season concluded all the storylines I was ever interested in - with satisfying (with regard to Conrad, Victoria and Daniel), as well as frustrating/tragic outcomes (Aiden and Emily). I suspected that Aiden would be the one to go, but it was still a pretty hard blow. The Victoria/Aiden & Emily/Aiden scenes were too grim and shocking, even more shocking than Pascal's demise. On top of that, Aiden was my favourite Revenge character. :( Why do my favourite male characters always suffer a horrible death?? (Robb Stark, Will Gardner, and now Aiden Mathis)
It's not about the "unreal" moments, it's about the characters actions. David Clarke would connect to his daughter and not make her into a killing machine. It's out of character, I know he has his own demons and reasons but he wouldn't be 12 years apart from his daughter.
They didn´t undone the whole reason of emily´s action, her actions where to clear her father´s name, and yes, to avenge him, but that wasn´t the only reason.
Like resurrecting David in the first place wasn't a cheap move? I dreaded this moment for weeks and this is the only justification that would sit right with me. I literally declared that I'm done with the show when I saw this scene -- and I did not plan this - and I am like the most loyal viewer ever - so, I guess that shows how ridiculous was this move.
I liked the episode, up until the point David appeared. It is not only that Emily's revenge becomes pointless, it just raises a whole bunch of plot holes. Why did he never go looking for her? Why did he not try to kill Conrad before? Why never contact Nolan? As so on...
Yeah probably, but dreams are usually a cheap resourse, I'm not saying the resurrection is a good one, just that I'd rather they found a way to manage the consequences of what they write instead of making it be a dream. I do think it was true since Victoria didn't know Conrad was escaping as a priest.
Well yes and now... In the end we don't really know him. We only know Emily's perspective. And according to Victoria, he's not what he seemed to be: "The truth is that the man that you remember as your father and the man i knew... were very different"
This felt liek a series finale, the producers knew what tehy were doing, that way of end things were just great. Now with Davbid back there is alot that has not been answered there, Victoria for once might eb telling the truth and say that David wasnt all that good and that a great question for S4.
For a moment, it was all very satisfying until the sh*** hit the fan and Aiden got killed, a dead woman ended up in Daniel's bed, Jack was arrested, Conrad.....well I'm not sure I understand what happened to Conrad andnow David.may or may not be alive .Sigh.
I was very sad about Aiden's death, but I guess we all predicted it....I thought he and Emily were great together. I'm hoping David is not alive, because it would probably mean that what Victoria said about him might be true. For the first time, I really hated Victoria....honestly she and Emily will end up destroying each other, because neither of them understand the concept of backing off... And Charlotte continues to be annoying as usual. The best part was seeing Victoria in a mental facility, but I'm sure that won't last.
Aiden became a more bearable and well-rounded character - just as he was killed, of course! I am glad he's gone though, it raises the stakes again for Emily and gives her some more revenge to go after, maybe now that her father has apparently returned from the dead?
As for David returning - I'm not sure. To make it a dream sequence would be a total cop-out, but I'm not sure how the show can go on if he really is back. In a way, I'd actually really like season 4 to be the last one I think, to properly tie things up in a no-holds-barred way, maybe Amanda and David fighting against the world?
I just started watching the episode in which Dr Banks first appeared (which is 1.05) and there's Victoria's hunchman - Frank - who resembles David a lot, especially with his short haircut...Hmm. Could it have been him maybe? I mean he was dead as well, why not bring him back from the dead. Plus, we have no idea what happened to the guy from the cabin. The casting people certainly did not cast such an actor by accident as well.
The episode was AWESOME, but why, why did they have to kill Aiden??? Couldn't they just put him on a coma or something so Barry Sloane could be a guest when the show was over so Aiden and Emily could have their happy ending??? I knew this would happen but it still broke me...
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
They just killed the most interesting character in the show :(. But good twist!!
ReplyDeleteTOO FREAKIN' AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteQueen Vic in the loony bin...
R.I.P. Aiden & Conrad...
Charlotte believing Jack was solely responsible for the kidnapping...
Daniel being framed for murder...
and welcome back from the dead David Clarke!
So happy this got renewed for S4!
OHH MY GOSH!!! That was a really great Season Finale! I can not wait until next season. I also cant wait for Emily to find out that her dad is alive!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnother awesome finale for revenge. Simply loved it.
ReplyDeleteIn the end of the day revenge isn't about Emily getting revenge against Grayson it's way more than that.
I liked it up until the dreadful moment David appeared. I kind of had a feeling it might happen this episode, but the whole thing was so stupid. Seriously, what's the point of the show at this point? I'm really not a fan of David being alive. Sigh..
ReplyDeleteWhat is the proposal for bringing David Clarke for life? I was loving this episode until this part..Hope
ReplyDeletethis cliffhanger is a dream of Conrad in jail.
Hope it's a dream of Conrad in jail..
ReplyDeleteThose last minutes were just outstanding. I'm in for everything that's to come next season!
ReplyDeleteLoved the finale
What! I knew David Clark wasn't dead kinda of happy Aiden died never like his character when did Charlotte become so perecptive can't wait for Emily to found out her father is alive good finale
ReplyDeleteSo what happens now I wonder
ReplyDeleteI'm really glad that Revenge was renewed, because this season finale was pure awesome! So many cliffhangers and twists..everything will be drastic different at the beggining of S4..and omg, can't wait for this!
ReplyDeleteEverything is so shaken up... I LOVE IT! Revenge will come back as a completely new show, that's for sure
ReplyDeleteYou do know that was the point right? Emily's entire reason for revenge was based around father, but he's not actually dead. And why does that mean all of her actions are undone? Her motivation was real, even if it was based off of misinformation. The choice to make David live doesn't erase anything, it puts it all into a new light.

ReplyDeleteThat's not what will happen. I think you should at least watch the promos for next season, cause as a lot of what happened in this ep, we never really know what's going to happen next.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Conrad is not dead. Even already have an interview in which the showrunner says that he may be alive
ReplyDeleteAidan dead, thank you very much! Its about the time.
ReplyDeleteEmily initially wanted Revenge to clear her fathers name of crimes he did not commit. She never knew Conrad ordered his death until midway through season one. It seems like every character is going to shift roles next season.

ReplyDeleteAmazing! LOved it, I'm glad they got rid of Aidan.
ReplyDeleteI am dissapointed though that Charlotte didn't even give Jack a chance to explain himself.
I am gonna miss Aiden he and Emily loved each other...I figured he would be killed tonight but I am glad Conrad was killed and Victoria was institutionalized.
ReplyDeleteDon't really know what to write, besides how much pissed off I am about Aidens death, even tho I knew it was coming. Season 3 rly should be final, cuz I don't like what they just did.
ReplyDeleteUm. Bedfellows, Nolan. Bedfellows.
ReplyDeleteSeveral unexpected twists. Well, if the intent was to let the audience know that things will be shaking up next season....message received. I'm stunned that Aiden got killed off. ReplyDeleteNot sure how I feel about David Clarke being alive but man that moment when he stabbed Conrad was amazing so I may well be willing to figure them!
ReplyDeleteThe ending was fantastic, really messed up and hit on one of my fears of being locked away and told I'm crazy!
I loved it this is what I loved about Revenge season 1, that it is not afraid to take risks or to get dark. This was a bat Sh.. final and I loved every minute of it.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, could someone explain to me, why Emily was digging that grave after all ?

ReplyDeleteRevenge is a soap-opera, so it's logical they have "unreal" moments. Things that would never happen in real life

Best season finale so far.
Well I didn't see THAT coming! All of it! Is it September yet?!
ReplyDeleteI agree. It would be terrible if David was alive and Emily has sacrificed so much! :-(
