I want the magic back!...the entire scene with Wade and Zoe at the end so reminded me of the earlier eps of season 1…those two have chemistry and it will be nice to see them together again at some point. That was the best scene of the entire episode. Everything else was forgettable.
Although, I am enjoying Wanda and Tom's subplot more and more. I'm glad they have something to work with this season. And, please, enough Shelby. Once they ruined her character by having her leave with the father of the baby, it was done. Stop beating the horse please!
This was an odd episode but I liked it. - Tom & Wanda have been getting plenty of screen time lately. - Zoe was acting more like Lemon than Zoe but it turned out okay. I, for one, found it amusing. - Loved the Lavon/AB's parents subplot. It was kind of adorable. - Looks like HoD used this episode to close the book on any further notions of George/Zoe or Brick/Shelby. I'd say good job but it should have been done long ago. - I can't stand Tansy's brothers. I just can't. They drive me up the wall. - I'm glad they kept Wade's lashing out at Zoe to a minimum. That could have soured the whole episode.
And nothing has changed between those two since. I think that maybe since they've screwed up so much that they wanted to drive the point home and reassure people before moving forward.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
If Zoe and George develop feelings for each other again, I'm going to throw a rock at my tv screen.
ReplyDeleteSame here for George and lemon

I'm pretty sure the point of their talk while walking back into town was to close the book on that idea once and for all.

It looked like they closed the book last season as well.

ReplyDeleteLemonade! They're still a crackship for me, but I love their friendship. Best part of the episode.
ReplyDeleteIt was a good transitional episode.
