  1. Not a huge fan of Adalind raping Nick, especially since it probably won't be addressed as such in show. And oh shit at the fact that he isn't a Grimm anymore. This isn't going to end well.

But yay for Rosalee and Monroe getting married. Her dress was much better and LOL at her sister ruining it.

    Great finale.

  2. Renard ever heard of text messaging, leaving a voicemail, or calling again upon an urgent matter?

    ReplyDelete
  3. Let's take a moment to mourn Rosalee's loss of her last name, apparently. But at least she and Monroe can lead their surname-less lives together... So cute, though...

LOVED IT. It's gonna be interesting to see Nick w/o his Grimm powers. Is it wrong that I want Adalind's plane to crash and her to die on impact? And Holy Crapsack at Wu finding the Grimm book in Nick's house! Can't wait to see how they deal with that...

    Great finale!

  5. I love Grimm so much but this finale got me so mad! It was so obvious Nick was going to lose his powers from the moment that Viktor called Adalind. Then the bottle that Nick had to drink breaking just got me frustrated. They just better not spend a good portion of season 4 cleaning up this mess.

    ReplyDelete
  6. You mean like how it took a whole season for Juliette to deal with her memory loss? Ugh. Let's hope not.

    ReplyDelete
  7. And a whole year (not in-show, of course) just to get through Adalind's pregnancy. They need to stop dragging these things out so much.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Awesome.
The cliffhanger, part I: will Renard live or die (spoiler: he'll live. I mean, c'mon).
The cliffhanger, part II: will Nick get his powers back. (Spoiler: yes).
The twist: Everyone was worried about hell breaking loose if it was discovered Nick is a Grimm, and hell does break loose, but it's Teresa who causes it.
The don't care anymore: Whether Adalind reunites with her baby. She has "bad mother" written all over her.
The better than I thought: I was so worried that Adalind's little switch with Juliette would cause problems ripple throughout season 4, but the two of them figured it out immediately.
The yay, part I: The fugly dress got ruined! Now burn it.
The yay, part II: Rosalee and Monroe are Mr. and Mrs. They'll never forget their wedding day.
The yay, part III: the FBI agent's head rolling down the stairs.
The yay, part IV: Wu finds out on his own, as we all knew he would.
The season 3 surprise: Adalind turned out to be a great character after all.

  9. So true. Those don't exist in the Grimm world.

  10. Time was, Monroe was supposed to be "Eddie Monroe," but the writers decided against that. So Monroe is his first name. No last name. Like Penny on TBBT.

  11. Sadly, I think they are going to...just read an interview with DG and the EP and he said that Trubel can be Nicks eyes and ears in the Wesen world and is going to be around for "a good part of next season, possibly the whole season". They talk about the keys too....link if you want to read it.

  12. fantastic season ender that delivered and left us wanting more with the ole cliffhanger.... I know that the trust wasn't 100%, but all of Adalind's mess could've been avoided if Renard and Nick had communicated that Adalind was up to no good much earlier, but of course it wouldn't have made for a fun ep. really curious how they're going to resolve Nick's non-Grimmyness and then there's the mess at his house and omg on Wu seeing the Grimm books in Nick's house... I would've liked to have him stay unaware for a little while longer, but it'll be good for his character to have more to do

    ReplyDelete
  13. When Renard was reading the book and figured out what Adalind had done and he said "oh you bitch" I cracked up. Finally a character saying what I was feeling.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Thanks for the link. It would be nice having Trubel around for awhile. I just hope she won't be Nick's eyes and ears for the whole time.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Agreed - I really like the character and the actress I just hope she can get a story line besides the eyes and ears of Team Grimm. It's gonna be a long summer!

    ReplyDelete
  16. like it.Have fun! http://goo.gl/hoMU64

  17. Honestly I want adalind to just go away and die since the beginning of season 2, she's been useless since after the first potion against Juliette. I don't care she had a baby, having a baby doesn't make you a good person all the sudden. She's not the first unfit mother to have her child taken from her cause she simply cannot raise a baby,

    ReplyDelete
  18. I like the finally, but I'm worry they stick the plot of Nick without power for most of season 4 and this will be come boring, I hope they not take to long to bring his power back.

    ReplyDelete
  19. As I posted elsewhere: Was completely disappointed by the season 3 finale. Definitely the worse for the show. The setup for season 4 is quite terrible and going off of this episode, Nick may be without his powers for most of if not all of the season, needing help from Trubel in order to continue dealing with Wesen problems. Also Adalind is still alive (god knows why after everything she has done) and is still out there free and gloating.

I've been a big fan of the show since it aired but I feel like the show has taken a huge turn for the worse in terms of writing. I am not even interested in season 4 at this point. I'll keep watching in hopes that I am wrong but the season 4 setup just sounds terrible all around. Also seems indicated that Wu STILL won't find out the truth in season 4. Lame if they tease him finding out a SECOND time only to once again have him NOT learn the truth.

Completely disappointed right now. I don't understand why the show has placed so much of it's story around Adalind. I didn't like her in season one and I sure as hell don't want to see her again in season 4. She's the "Lana Lang" of Grimm.

  20. Season 2 finale was just as predictable IMO, but I still love it (both of them). Its gonna be interesting to see how Nick react and act on it. While being a grimm was sort of a curse with all those people coming after him for no other reason than for what he was (never for something he did as Nick, but only cause he was a Grimm), he was able to help a lot of people because of it. Really having the choice, I think he would've stay a Grimm cause he can help people. It's gonna be interesting to see a new aspect of his personnality, how he's gonna handle it and all. And how everybody around him is gonna do to support him. Pretty sure he's gonna feel like somebody who's suddendly ''handicapped'', like someone who suddenly become blind or something. I bet its gonna be frustrating, depressing too.

Wonder if we're gonna see a little darker Nick if he get frustrated, desperate enough or something. There's potential for some good stuff. The real question is how the writers will handle it

That being said, I do agree I don't want this to be drag all season. Couple of episodes could be good, maybe half a season if they treat it well.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I don't think that,s ''Super lame'' Nick loosing his powers. Like I said in my answer to Sandra, I think there's potential to have some great explorations and progessions in the characters. From his powers feeling like a ''Curse'' to Nick at the beginning before turning to a way to do some good, how is he gonna take it? Just like frustation or going desperate enough to do...how know what? Are the Royals or the Council or anyone else gonna try to take a shot at him to take him down (or do something really bad to somebody in the team or in the wessen world in general) because Nick is vulnerable?

What is the rest of the team gonna handle everything? How's the dynamic gonna be? The rest of the team can't just pretend everything is normal or don't think they can either point it out to Nick he's powerless at every corner, it's gonna be frustration for Nick. I know I would be frustrated and angry maybe if I were to lose a sense or some par tof me.

I don't think Wu will tell anyone what he saw at Nick home......and will Teresa get in trouble for doing what she did......I would say Wu discovering the drawings is a cliffhanger of it own

    ReplyDelete
  23. I am likely going to skip this next season here for a bit, until a third of the way I think. As I hated them dragging their feet with the Juliette arc, I am sure this will be just as annoying. Hopefully him getting his powers back won't take the entire season. But given their track record, I am guessing it will.

    ReplyDelete
  24. ya that memory loss story made me go " wtf still not resolved" each episode.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Na I'm sorry, but in a story where the draw was a special character, him being not special is lame.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Ha ha Damn, new these cliff hangers were coming and we get them Grimm style hard core.
When a lead loses his powers its always a moment that makes you go, ah duck not this losing powers arc again. And yea that's how I feel.
Just hope its not long before all this is resolved. If not, you know what I'm doing, and that is just wait the season out and watch it whole at once he does gets his powers back.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Eh...not a fan....

    1. I hate it when they dumb Renard down. He is supposed to be that scheming expert...even if he isn't onto Adalind immediatly, when Juliette tells him that she didn't see him, he should have realized what was going on immediatly...he knows that Adalind took hair and so on from her. He should have warned Juliette then and there.
    2. I hate it even more that they make Juliette their "to go idiot" whenever Adalind is scheming...it was hard enough to stomach when she was not in the know, but now it makes no sense at all that she would listen to anything Adalind says. At least this time she was allowed to caught on (way too late). But really, after everything she went through, THAT'S the last straw? Not the lies, not him allowing her to think that she is crazy, but that someone basically raped him????? If there is anyone who should understand that, it's Juliette.
    3. If there was one thing I always hated about the show is that the show runners don't seem to realize that having sex with someone undert false pretense (or the influence of a spell) is rape. So, great, no Nick has been raped by Adalind, too. He should make a support group with Hank.
    4. I really don't mind Trouble, but I wish they wouldn't push her into such a prominent role. They are basically replacing Nick with her, and I honestly hate that. I would rather learn more about his Zombie powers, and about his relationship to other Wesen in Portland.
    5. Honestly, another "someone lost his powers" storyline?

The upsite is that it might be interesting if Nick tries to figure out if he really wants to be a Grimm or not...the downsite is that I don't trust the writers to make it fast and not drag it out for way too long.

The only good thing about the episode...that destruction of the wedding dress. I cheered. But I would have loved a little bit more wedding. It would have been great to see Nick trying to interact with guests who have no idea what he is. And there were so many Wesen I had hoped to see missing...we didn't even get the usual explanation for the absence of Bud's wife.

    ReplyDelete
  28. But Nick isn't really powerless is he? Just look at Hank, how many Fessen has he killed?
And he isn't a Grimm either, so I don't see the problem tbh.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Well it wouldn't be Grimm without a frustrating cliffhanger! Damn those writers! Overall I think this was a very good season, and I'm looking forward to the 4th season. I think the addition of Trubel was one of the best things that the writers could have done. I like the fact that she's very loyal to Nick and that they didn't follow the old cliche of making her into a resentful brat. The wedding was great, but I was tense during the whole ceremony! It was really sweet to see how supportive Monroe's dad has been, and Rosalee's sister sparing her from wearing that awful dress was funny!

Like others, I'm generally not a fan of the hero-losing-powers theme. It seems to be done on practically every show, so I really hope that it doesn't last for more than a few episodes. Trubel is great, but I could see something like this messing up the cool relationship that she has with Nick. Also, Adalind getting the upper hand by impersonating someone else is another overdone theme that I wasn't crazy about. And did she really have to sleep with Nick to take his powers? I'm glad that they didn't prolong the misunderstanding between Nick and Juliette, but I sitll could have done without any of that drama. The only consolation is that I can't wait to see Adalind's face when she realizes that the people she helped actually don't have her baby. And even better, that she screwed over the one person who would have helped to reunite her with her baby. So much Karma.

The mess at Nick's house was crazy and Wu's reaction to seeing the book should be very interesting. I really hope that Renard is not dead, Anyway, overall, I think the writers did a terrific job this season. I really love this show.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I officially hate Adalind now (not the actress of course).
I don't like it that Nick lost his powers. I hate the "i lost my powers" storylines. I hope he will get them back soon. I love Trubel and I hope she sticks around, but Grimm doesn't feel like Grimm if Nick isn't a Grimm, so I hope he doesn't remain powerless for all season 4. I wonder if he still got his superhearing and zombieness, because they aren't a part of being a Grimm, so he can still defend himself. I hope so.
I'm happy that Wu found that book. I hope he's gonna figure it out soon next season that it's all connected to Nick (and Renard, Hank, ...).
Monroe and Rosalee's wedding was beautiful!

    ReplyDelete
  31. LOL at the Raped by Adalind support group.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I've missed a ton of episodes, and I'm just wondering if this season is worth catching up on? I mean, the comments below sound discouraging..

    ReplyDelete
  33. My guess: Renard will be in the hospital much of the season, and when he is able, he'll explain how to make up the potion. Or Rosalee will know how.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yes. A lot of good episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I read that interview and I hope they change this idea, Truble is a good character, but c'mon Nick is the main character, I know they need to development his story and I good with that, but again almost season is not a good idea, I hope this storyline finish before the final year hiatus.

    ReplyDelete
  36. What a awesome finale, a bit predictable but, awesome as always, I felt so sorry for Nick losing his uniqueness just hope with everyone that it doesn't last the entire season, as for Adaline can she go away already, wow that's gonna be interesting how they deal with Wu, oh just tell him bring him on in the fold, so he'll know he's not insane, long time till the fall, missing this show already!!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. ok so where do I start??..Ok first off..I HATE ADELIND!! Silly me thinking that she might atleast become a reluctant ally of Nick's but no no no.Once a hexenbitch always a hexenbitch!! I can't wait for her reaction when she finds out that her baby is NOT with Victor. Or Victor might just drag out this baby issue and get Adelind to carry out more of his evil bidding. And of course the CAptain..why the hell did he not call Nick the moment he knew Adelind was in Juliette's and Nick's house? I mean there are soo many what if's and why not's but that's why we have cliffhangers! God I hate cliffhangers!!
I like Trubel..I think she is a great addition to the show and yes I believe she will a major part of season 4. The only thing to smile about in the whole episode was the wedding...And now to the not so happy part....besides the captain getting shot, Adelind scheming and seducing Nick while looking like Juliette was disgusting. As much as I love Nick and Juliette together, they can never seem to get a break and I do think that Nick may be the one to end the relationship with Juliette after what happens? I can understand Juliette's frustration when she said that she was not so sure of the relationship but hey you should have thought of that when you realised or were beginning to understand and enter Nick's world with him being a GRIMM! But anyways I hope Nickette have a happy ending....As much as I love Nick being a GRIMM, I would like to see how he copes with his non-Grimmness and when he does get it back..i am sure hoping for some serious hexenoyal butt kicking from Nick!!!...ALL in ALL a great seas and well done to the writers and cast..they have a done a great job. Its going to be an agonizing 4-5 months before the new season but here's looking forward to yet another great season of GRIMM!!!

    ReplyDelete
  38. This was my favorite Grimm season to date. I'm surprised people disliked it.

    ReplyDelete
  39. didn't say powerless, cuz yes humans can be powerful if trained, I mean special as in different.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I agree with you this season has been awesome with the addition of Trubel to the team, now it's going to be limitless now they've got to bring Wu aboard, they can't let him think he's insane, that's gonna be fun!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. But my reply was to Kaye237 and not to you =P
(and he did write exactly that)

    ReplyDelete
  42. I second that, Adalind needs to die. I hope the Royals kill her right off the plane.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I actually went "yes!!" when Teresa decapitated the FBI guy, that was so satisfying!

    ReplyDelete
  44. wait till next season is 15 episodes in or so then catch to all

    ReplyDelete
  45. So the writers gave nick extra powers at the beginning of the season, the super hearing etc, and now they took EVERYHING from him...I dont really know why would he be back a Grimm, now he is normal human ang Juliette was tired of all that Grimm troubles...They better give him good reason to be grimm again...Its gonna take a whole season for sure...

    ReplyDelete
  46. And it was a cliffhanger I did not expect at all, I thought Wu's storyline with the Wesen world was wrapped up and over with. I didn't see this coming at all, it's nice once in a while to be surprised.

    ReplyDelete
  47. And did Adalynd (or what her name is) sprayed her c*nt with that mixture? She said she should spray a little lower than face...maybe she used her lips...still strange idea from the writers part...too much porn.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Completely agree, and it was so much better than him getting all mushy with Adalind a couple episodes back.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Pretty sure it's still how Nick is gonna feel even if it's not 100% true, I said it mostly in Nick,s POV, he got used to being a Grimm and probably even embracing most of it (except for the biggest sh*** happening), it help him with many cases, help people and all. If you would lose your eyes (or any sense for that matter) all the sudden, would it make you feel better and forgotten in a flash to have someone telling you other people are doing fine without it?

And hank was helped a lot in handeling everything cause he always had a warning from Nick about who's what. Unless Trubel is in every scenes, they won't always have that warning. And even with it, not sure Nick will be 100% confortable to be on the other side all the sudden. Not to mention, Nick won't be as quick in combat anymore. Those time they fought against more than 1 or 2 wesen at same time, that ''Grimm genetic memory of fighting'' or whatever it was came in handy and saved their asses many time.

    ReplyDelete
  50. SHITTTTTT. I c. it was under so. ops

    ReplyDelete
  51. The episode was awesome, now Adalind has to go away, I can't wait to see how the story unfolds with Wu, they've got to bring him into the fold!!!

    ReplyDelete
  52. SHIELDNCISArrowfan17 May 2014 at 21:58

Nick don't need his power to go against bad Wesen.......maybe being a normal human would be easier temporary......

    ReplyDelete
  53. Finally watched the finale. I liked it. But after reading the TV Line interview where they said that it would take most of S4 for Nick to get back his powers, I am feeling a bit pissed. Why the frak would they drag it out for so long? A semi acceptable arc would have led up to the mid season finale in which Nick gets his powers back (i.e by episode 10 of S4). Dragging it much further than that - would just test the limits of viewer patience. Similar to the way they dragged out Juliette's amnesia story line.

Regarding Trubel being Nick's eyes. I don't mind that at all if (like I said above) - Nick's powerless arc is for a limited number of episodes and doesn't stretch over the entire season). I like her character a lot and was hoping that she would continue to be on the show regardless of Nick's situation vis a vis his powers. So it's very nice to know she's sticking around.

    ReplyDelete
  54. @Kevin @João PauloI don't mind Trubel helping out Nick but that interview has pissed me off. Why drag the story line through the entirety of S4? This would test the limits of viewer patience (similar to the way Juliette's amnesia story line was dragged through almost the whole season). The better and semi-tolerable point to end the 'Nick's powerless and then regains his powers arc' would be by episode 10 of S4 (and that is quite a long arc)

@Kaye237 I don't think anyone has an issue with them exploring i) Nick's character now that he is powerless, ii) the new team dynamics as a result of this new development, iii) the change in Nick and Juliette's relationship etc etc. The issue at hand is that this arc is looking like it will be dragged throughout S4 and that's a serious bummer. I love Trubel and I like that she will be helping out Nick but , for a lot of viewers, the main draw to the story lines of Grimm is still Nick and his special powers. Take that away for too long and it just becomes an impatient waiting game. Instead of enjoying the stories, we would be more interested in when and how Nick gets his powers back and get increasingly irritated and impatient as the arc drags through a whole season.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Brilliant Finale!! YAY for Monroe & Rosalee! :D

    ReplyDelete
  56. ^This!
After finding about the interview I already plan to not watch it when it airs on tv, and just wait it out till he gets his powers.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Maybe Renard's mom will help. She's also a Hexenbiest, so she probably knows how to make potions too.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I will do this too. I agree with you @DebraFan

    ReplyDelete
  59. I never said I would love the story to get drag over the whole season, I think I even said i'm against it too. I do see people having issues with exploring that stuff, who want everything fix in one episode or less. You simply cannot do any of that in one episode. Why does it have to be all or nothing (one or 22 ep)?

It could take easily take 3-4 episodes, maybe 5, without feeling 'drag' if its well written. In one episode, or 2, its gonna be all rush, without really exploring and its only gonna be a waste of storyline. They went there, they might as well do the best of it. I'll wait before I judge, its gonna be trickey I give you that, it can go horribly wrong (if its drag for a loonnggg lonnngg time), but could be good too. People need to give it a chance. I agree they took way too long to take care of the Juliette amnesia thing and the pregnancy, but since they were secondary characters, they could continue the story without them in the focus, thinking they won't wait as much for Nick. Just because Trubel is gonna be there for a big part of the season doesn't make it a done deal that Nick will stay without his powers for a whole season. Nothing say she won't have other stuff to do.

    ReplyDelete
  60. the hero feeling powerless after loosing his powers is the standard writers plot, so maybe they'll get creative.

    ReplyDelete
  61. You better hope that its likely they wont give Adalynd another Pregnancy storyline so quickly after the first. Id laugh though if a Vessen was pregnant with a Grimm.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Not sure why you're responding to me with that. It never crossed my mind that she was pregnant again and anyway don't want another pregnancy for a long time in this show

    ReplyDelete
  63. sorry, I thought I clicked reply further down the road there. Must have clicked it here by mistake.

    ApologieS!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Thank you for giving us (and Rosalee and Monroe) a perfect ceremony. I thought the action of the last 15 or 20 mins of the ep was handled really well. I know I've been going on about thinking Truebel was going to be to the sacrificial Grimm but I was wrong..and given how much I've taken to the character I'm glad. Loved her race to try and save Nick. Loved the way they handled that all falling apart. And a little part of me was kind of glad that Adalind is going to get to Europe and discover that her baby isn't there. So, next season we'll get Nick adjusting. Nick missing being a Grimm, and Nick choosing to be a Grimm. I hope they put a fun spin on it. Awesome finale tonight.
