Love the connection to the film they made. Malvo is a fun and interesting villain but I can't wait to see Molly and Gus take him down. Am I the only that thinks Lester is loosing his mind and that hand infection is going to be his downfall?

  2. Yep I think the hand infection will come into play.

We were lucky enough to be sent the first 4 episodes by FX but now we're waiting just as eagerly as everyone else for the next episode :)

  3. The way Malvo talked when he was in arrest reminded me of William H Macy character from the movie. He used the same voice and the same manner of speaking.

  4. I knew the money from the film was how Stavros made his fortune! I had a hunch back in episode 2, so glad its confirmed. Its a nice way to keeping the film in the same universe.

Anyway this was my favourite episode yet, Lorne is such a master of deception. Oh I can't wait for Molly (and Gus) to eventually get their man, They have to right? Well maybe not!

That ending was amazing, Mr Numbers and Mr Wrench are brilliant together when they have their sign language moments, both are so menacing but in a different way to Lorne.

  5. I finally watched the first four episodes of this show in just the last couple of days. I love the film and, as strange as this might make me, I will admit to having seen it probably 50 times over the years. I also love Billy Bob and I am enjoying many of the other characters. With that said, at the end of episode four I am still only find the series interesting, at best. It has its moments: intriguing ones, gory ones, and those that remind us of the original story. The problem might simply be that "Breaking Bad" really has raised the minimum expectations of a lot of television viewers. With nearly eight months having past, I would have thought that I might be ready to receive 'regular' t.v. again. If 'Fargo' is an accurate indicator of the Walter White mourning period, I'd say many of us may not yet be ready to move on.

  6. Well, if the first few minutes of yesterdays episode wasn't very "hand-centric"...
