Hannibal - Episode 2.12 - Tome-Wan - NBC Detailed Episode Info

In Japanese cooking, Tome Wan is typically a miso soup, generally served with rice. But if you're expecting Friday's "Tome-Won" to be a mild savory dish, guess again. With just two courses left in the beastly feast that is this season, this week's episode will absolutely have you craving more, even if your stomach is churning.

As for our favorite deadly, dysfunctional brother and sister, the Vergers, we know it just can't go on like this for long. It's said one can't have too many friends, but our Will (Hugh Dancy) is finding that this may not always be so.

Juggling allegiance to Mason (Michael Pitt), Margot (Katherine Isabelle), Jack (Laurence Fishburne), Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) and Alana (Caroline Dhavernas) simultaneously just isn't especially possible. It's such a dilemma when so many of one's friends seem to have homicide on their minds; Will is everyone's favorite co-conspirator. Simply put, someone (and maybe more than one) must die soon and it's on poor Will to decide who lives and who doesn't.

If you were shocked and pleased to see Freddie Loundes still alive, know that Jack and Will are likely to take whatever measures are necessary to nab the Ripper. Jack even produces another surprise witness to Hannibal's mayhem. Can our Special Agent collar the cannibal before Internal Affairs gets wind of his gross misuse of power?

The seeds of madness and doubt that have been planted in Will seem to come full bloom this week. The sweet smell of vengeance, retribution and perhaps even poetic justice are in the air; perhaps Will's spring has arrived at last.

Tome Wan airs Friday, May 16 on NBC.

  1. As good a manipulator Hannibal is, Will has been at-least as good this season.
