YES! I have been hoping this would get picked up.

  2. That's all of the DC shows going to series.

Today pick ups and renewals are on fire!
    Looking forward to this one!

  4. I don't expect it will be good.

    However.

    If DC were smart:

Flash, Arrow, Gotham and Constantine would interconnect and cross over with each other. Even if they take place in different times, we can see how one connects to the other.

It's like Christmas for all the TV fans in the world. It makes me feel so happy haha.

  6. Excellent. This should be a much better companion for Grimm than Dracula was.

  7. Hopefully Swamp Thing makes a surprise cameo.

Yep, I love this time of the year on television :)

  9. "Hopefully Swamp Thing makes a surprise cameo."

I could happily apply that to almost any show I watch.

*sniffs around* I'm confident I'll be back later.

  11. I know a lot of people hate Dracula but I'd love for it to come back for even 6 to 8 episodes.

  12. I don't think it's officially canceled so that might not be out of the realm of possibility.

  13. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This and Mysteries of Laura were two of the drama pilots from NBC I was interested in seeing. Another strong year for sci-fi/fantasy on broadcast!

  14. Yes, of course. But Constantine started in Swamp Thing, so...

  15. Yes! Looking Forward to This.

  16. If DC Were Dumb They Would Do That.

  18. Right. If DC/WB reacquired the screen rights to the character, I'm sure it could be possible.

  19. I might give this one a chance. Going to watch the trailer first before I decide.

  20. Absolutely not. Interconnecting that many universes places too many limits on the storytelling possibilities. Look at how bad Agents of SHIELD was until Captain America made sweeping changes. And it's not like Agents of SHIELD can truly blow up its world or make game-changers because it has to conform to the movies. Arrow and The Flash are fine on their own, and Gotham and Constantine can each have their own universe.

  21. Marvel's special. DC has a bad history and future apparently. Batman vs. Superman.

Agents of Shield connects with the movies, not with other TV shows. DC connecting all DC shows wouldn't make sense with all the creators/writers being involved.

Flash is already part of Arrow's universe.

  22. Yay, I was looking forward to this one.

  23. Now I love interconnecting universes but being on three different networks makes it near impossible and way too confusing.

  24. I'm cautiously optimistic, I want it to be great but drama wise the only new shows in recent years that has been great for NBC (quality wise) has been Hannibal. I hope this is more that kind of quality than well The Cape or Revolution or their countless other failures into sci-fi/supernatural/superheroes

  25. You have no idea how happy I am with all the pickups and renewals but then the cancellations is like the lump of coal in your sock, they seem to always talk about in movies. And it's awesome TV fans can use SpoilerTV to talk about shows, cuz I watch a lot of TV, and a lot of people I know don't. Too attached at TV shows and the characters :)

  26. David Goyer said in an interview a while back that if 'Constantine' is picked up to series (which just got ordered to series) Zatanna, Madame Xanadu, Swamp Thing, Nergal and Rosacarnis will all make appearances throughout the first season. YAY!!!!!!!

  27. NBC likely won't pick it up but Sky 1/Sky Atlantic the British broadcaster can renew this show because it's a co-production. If Sky 1/Sky Atlantic really want this show to continue if NBC cancels it they would have to finance the show by themselves unless they find another co-producer to share the costs.

  28. I know a lot of people like it but its not my kind of show.
