  1. Stalker has an interesting premise and good leads, but I see it getting tiring very quickly. I have some hopes CBS could have another prestige Good Wife-esque drama with Madam Secretary, but I'm not completely sold. The lead performance looks good though. I jumped a bit when the Extant guy flipped open part of his kid's back. Other than that, all these shows look very generic. Typical CBS fare.

  2. The McCarthy's is looking good too!!

  3. I stopped the trailer of Scorpion bc I'm not interested, I may try the pilot

    ReplyDelete
  4. Stalker just screams Kevin Williamson, but it has Maggie Q so I'll try it for a few episodes. The rest, meh.

  5. Stalker looks good, Scorpion may be on my watchlist.

Madam Secretary and Extant: Definitely in.

The McCarthys and the number of times they said "Good Wife"..

    ReplyDelete
  6. Only Stalker and Extant look appealing to me. Madame Secretary looks OK but its a bit too cheesy.
The McCarthys is full of gay cliches and borderline offensive. I did not laugh once.

  7. Im going to watch NCIS New Orleans as i have been wanting to watch a NCIS for a while and the other ones have way to many episodes to catch up on.

Also i will be watching Madam Secretary which looks great and has a great cast , I may also watch Stalker and Extant.

  8. So Scorpion & stalker are killing it! The Scorpion team is working, I hope they can keep the level along the show.

STALKER looks intense, Maggie really bought me hear.
EXTANT resembles much a film with Johnny depp & Charlize Theron.
Secretary looks strong, but maybe a bit to snoozy. I will have to make a tough choice what to watch in the fall.

  9. Worst batch of shows for me but Stalker and Extant look like good shows.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Scorpion looks exciting! I'm quite excited at how this will unravel!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Scorpion looks much more impressive than I thought and Stalker looks as good as it's premise. I'm in.

  12. Stalker- Criminal Minds with two strong leads but from the creator of The Following is such a negative
Scorpion- better than the logline would suggest, geniuses working together to solve problems could be fun
Madame Secretary- looks like it might be good but I feel indifferent to it
Extant- was already looking forward to this. Knew that the son was not exactly "human" before seeing the promo

    ReplyDelete
  13. Stalker is already my favorite.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Extant remind me "The Astronaut's wife", a old movie starring Johnny Depp and Charlize Theron on a really bad way.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Battle Creek, New Orleans and The Odd Couple, are the ones I'm most looking forward to.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Stalker - I wanted to like Stalker because I like Maggie Q (Nikita was awesome) but I don't think I'll be watching this for two reasons: 1) Dylan McDermott and 2) This seems like an ultra-specific Criminal Minds.
Scorpion - I was about ready to give up on this halfway through the trailer but then it got just good enough to keep me watching. I'll end up checking this show out but I fully expect it to bomb.
NCIS: Gumbo - Meh. It was alright but I don't think I liked it enough to keep watching.
Madam Secretary - This looked a lot better than I thought it would. I might give this a three episode trial run in the fall.

Extant - I'm skeptical but I'll check out an episode or two but this seems like the type of show that would bore me rather quickly.

  17. Yup, I'm definitely watching Stalker after seeing that trailer.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Stalker is The Following with Stalkers.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I wasn't sold on any of them but this promos are amazing!
Loved Scorpion, Ncis, stalker, battle creek, madame secretary and even extant in spite of hating anything alien-related.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Madame Secretary looks AMAZING. I didn't even think i'd like it, but it's dramatic but also hilarious. OMG WOW!!!

    ReplyDelete
  21. AHH AND STALKER LOOKS AMAZING TOO!!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Maggie Q looks stunning! can't wait to see her again. Although that makes me miss Nikita even more. :( Also wan to check out Madam Secretary and Extante, maybe.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Only Extant. Thanks for sucking so hard CBS, fewer shows to worry about missing out on.

    ReplyDelete
  24. First impression....
ABC needs to take lessons on promo construction from CBS! XD

Everything but Extant gets a watch from me, although I'd guess a few won't get past 2 or 3 episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  25. STALKER LOOKS EPIC!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Most of these look really boring and bland. I might watch the pilot of Extant but that's probably it for me.

    ReplyDelete
  27. First impressions... not that great. Most look like they will bore me and I couldn't even get through the entire trailer for McCarthy's it is so not even close to being funny. The laugh-track is unbearable.

Extant and Stalker are the only ones I'll be checking out.

Extant seems like it's much more suited as a movie (getting slight Astronaut's Wife vibe); not sold on it as a week by week show, but I'll give it a go.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I think I'll like Scorpion, but I think it's going to struggle against Sleepy Hollow...

    ReplyDelete
  29. Seriously, even if the shows end up being bad, these were some nice trailers! XD

    ReplyDelete
  30. I think they are quite happy "sucking" as the most watched network on TV..
Oh yeah, and they have been for 8 of the last 9 years.

    That's gotta suck. XD

    ReplyDelete
  31. Exactly.
A good trailer will not necessarily make me watch a show for the whole season, but a terrible trailer almost always stop me from even watching in the first place..

    ReplyDelete
  32. Only thing that looks awesome is Stalker, Maggie Q all the way!!! Will be watching Extant :)

    ReplyDelete
  33. Ha true but ratings doesn't mean they have quality programming. And they obviously think CBS now stands for Crime Broadcasting Station.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yeah I agree, too many cops shows but they fill a niche in the overall broadcast spectrum. ABC is soap operas and/ or kid friendly, FOX is high octane/ low depth, NBC seems to have taken over the serialized shows, and CBS is the grounded procedural channel.

That's why I prefer cable over all the networks! XD
Less shoehorning shows into a given network's traditional formula.

That said, what CBS does, they do well.
I agree, they are not all top notch TV shows, but they are consistently packaged and polished. They often cancel shows with ratings other channels would kill for! Something to be said for having a working formula... even if you personally do not like it.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Stalker looks great.
The McCarthys got me lauging a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Stalker Looks absolutely amazing!

    ReplyDelete
  37. ahhh procedural-ville that is CBS, but I'm interested in Stalker and Madame Secretary, and then Scorpion. definitely will be checking out Extant this summer as well

    ReplyDelete
  38. "THE Good Wife"

    ReplyDelete
  39. Love Stalker. Great dynamics between Maggie and Dylan. Knew from the start (before the promos and promotional pics were released) that this new show would be awesome. Can't wait to watch :)

    ReplyDelete
  40. Well it looks great among other thinks. But my favorites are NCIS New Orleans and Scorpio.

    ReplyDelete
  41. ExtantBattle CreekCSI: CyberNCIS: New OrleansScorpionStalkerThe McCarthysThe Odd Couple

    ReplyDelete
  42. Extant: This summer's Under The Dome? Okay.... I'll buy it... it looks intriguing.

Madame Secretary: not a bad seed in the cast, and the trailer sold me. I feel it can make a good companion piece for The Good Wife.

NCIS.NO: I know if I zap through it TV I'll probably watch it, but I also know I won't actively seek it out either.

Scorpion: I believe CBS might be grooming this one as a Mentalist successor. I'm game.

Stalker: Interesting subject material for a procedural. Good cast... Sure sure.

McCarthy's: No! Even though I love Laure Metcalf and Jack McGee, the verdict on this one is a resounding NO!

    ReplyDelete
  43. These all look good! I don't really watch a lot of CBS, but I will check most of these out (except maybe NCIS: NO). Some of these have very interesting premises. Not really into comedies, but I may try The McCarthys just for THE Good Wife jokes.

    ReplyDelete
  44. The best promo belongs to "Extant" IMO. "Stalker" looks OK but I think the concept is diffrenet but the story is a limited one. Why? I highly doubt that the show has "excitement" and "thriller" factor. Every episode, they will be chasing someone. If it were like CSI, I would say OK. There is scientific research and that will be appealing but in this concept, what will be appealing for the viewers? I don't know.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Extant looks really good, will try that one. Scorpion looks better than I was expecting as well. Stalker looks a bit blah and The McCarthys looks terrible.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Stalker and Extant look good to me. I'll be watching them for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I will check Extant, Stalker, Battle Creek, Scorpion and Madam Secretary. Extant looks good, I'm really intrigued.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Well, hello there Daren Kagasof ! Definitely going to check out Stalker, probably won't sleep for days. And will also try Scorpion !

    ReplyDelete
  49. I might check out all the dramas. Definitely NCIS: New Orleans, Madam Secretary and Stalker. Even Scorpion looks somewhat interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Extant: I've been looking forward to this show for a while now.
Madam Secretary: I'm not sure what I wanted this show to be but this doesn't seem interesting.
Scorpion: I'll check it out but I'm not too interested in it right now.
Stalker: Looks like the typical procedural with a restricted pool of potential perpetrators. If they add enough serialized elements I might stick with it.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Was it just me, or did all those trailers seem good to anyone else? I now want to check out everything.

    ReplyDelete
  52. It was not just you! XD
I liked all of them too even though I know that a few of the series are completely not my thing!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Thanks for letting me know I'm not alone. :) After watching the promos for the CW and FOX fall shows, and not liking most of them, I'm beginning to think I'm 30 going on 60. I'm definitely not skewing towards my demographic. Cheers!

    ReplyDelete
  54. The premise of Stalker and Scorpion interested me the moment they were picked up, but after seeing the promos, I'll only check Scorpion.

I didn't even finished the promo vid of Madame Secretary ¬.¬
    NCIS whatever... meh

    ReplyDelete
  55. Stalker and scorpions have a good plot. Extact I need to see the first episode
