TVLINE | Let’s talk Hayley and Jackson. What’s really going on there?
Their relationship is complicated. Jackson has watched Hayley as a wolf for years, so he’s had a lot of time to get to know her. When the curse was broken and he finally got to talk to her in person, he’d built up an entire relationship in his head. So for him to just say, “Hey, I’m that wolf that’s been watching you and we’re supposed to be married,” that was a lot to throw at her at once. I think she was a little taken aback. Also, the reality is starting to set in for Jackson: Hayley is pregnant with Klaus’ child. Nothing ever goes the way you plan it.

I think so. Generally, vampires don’t like werewolves, and werewolves hate vampires. Every time I see one, I want to kill them. But Elijah’s relationship with Hayley does make things complicated. Plus, [the originals are] the ones in power. I don’t think the original vampires are as bad as Marcel was — Elijah seems like a much smarter leader — so maybe this is a relationship we can deal with, once we’ve gotten over that gut instinct.

ReplyDeleteJackson has been stalking her for years? I thought 1x03 was the first time he had seen her and it seemed like Hayley had never seen him before that. Was Jackson lurking around Mystic Falls in Season 4 to stalk Hayley?
ReplyDeleteI don't really understand how they'd incorporate original werewolves on this show. The original werewolves would pre-date the original vampires and would all be long dead. Same with the witches. Nathan commented that the original witches will get involved? Whoever they were they must have lived before Silas & Tessa so they would be thousands of years old and like werewolves, witches are mortal and should be long dead. Are they planning on resurrecting the original werewolves & witches? Because TVDverse really has way too many resurrections of people hanging out on the Other Side.
Based on a promo for TVD it looks like the veil will be broken and people long dead will be coming back. Perhaps they'll be tied into that? Admittedly I like the idea of one show affecting the other, but if that's the approach they take it'll be harder for those who don't watch TVD to understand some plot points.
ReplyDeleteIf they wanted to do that then since Bonnie is the anchor she should have felt every supernatural death - including the deaths in NOLA. But we didn't see any dead witches or vampires pass though her. Klaus could have asked Bonnie if Davina had passed though her or whatever - but he only appeared on the show to come visit Caroline. Bonnie could have spoken to the dying witches.
ReplyDeleteI think that although the shows are happening in the same universe they want to make them separate so I don't think we'll see much crossover with the plotlines.
He's a stalker Hayley RUN
ReplyDeleteI don't think Klaus really jumps from girl to girl that much. The only legitimate love interest he's had so far has been Caroline - who told him that she has life plans right now (hanging out at Whitmore with Elena or whatever) and wants to live her own life right now and Klaus doesn't fit into that. He had a one-night stand with Hayley a year ago (she's been pregnant for a year now - he knocked her up last April) and he just started hooking with with Genevieve - but it's clearly not serious.
ReplyDeleteWe've seen less of Hayley yet she's had more love interests than Klaus has. She seemed to have a thing for Tyler when we met her, she than had a ONS with Klaus, and now she has both Elijah & Jackson after her. Hayley should be focused on the fact that she's about to have a baby and how she plans on raising a child - but instead it seems like she's being put in the middle of some love-quadrangle with Klaus, Elijah & Jackson.
