  1. Good to see that Elijah is keeping his dry sense of humor. He'll need it. It seems like running this city is a giant pain in the ass with no real reward for your efforts. Also, Klaus turning a threat into foreplay creeped me out a little there.

  2. I really don't like Genevieve. I hope she dies by the end of the season.

  3. I think this is the Producer's Preview actually. Elijah is totally overlooking the fact that Rebekah used Genevieve and killed her.

  4. It's not only Elijah, Cami is also treating her like the evil slut witch. The show set the tone that Gen is a bad person, totally ignoring that she executed her revenge after Rebekah betrayed and killed her. She had an agency something many characters on this show lack.

  5. She didn't just enact revenge on Rebekah. She conspired with Papa Tunde, Bastianna, and Celeste to enact revenge on the entire surviving Mikaelson family.

  6. First, Genevieve's beef was with Rebekah not with the rest of the family whom she conspired against. The rest wasn't any of her business. Second, all of that stuff about the dead ancestors and their effect on the witches is of no concern to Elijah. That's witch business. If anything, all of that is just more reason not to trust her and to be suspicious of her motives. Finally, it was witches who are responsible for bringing the Mikaelson family back to New Orleans. Anything that happened to the witches in dealings with The Mikaelsons after their return to the city is their own fault.

  7. I thought bringing Klaus back to town was an idea that Jane-Anne and Sophie came up with (at least that's the impression I got because Agnes didn't seem too happy about Sophie's decision to do that) - not the entire witch community. They wanted Klaus to upsurp Marcel's power and get them Davina back to they could finish the Harvest.

Klaus certainly doesn't seem to hold a grudge against Genevieve for being stabbed (plus Sophie & Elijah were the people who stabbed him) with that knife. I don't think Genevieve ever did anything to Elijah personally (My memory was that it was only Celeste) and I would suspect that Klaus would consider how Rebekah & Marcel used Genevieve to summon Mikael his business. It certainty would also be Genevieve's since she was killed because of it. When Rebekah & Marcel chose to involve Genevieve in their plot to bring Mikael to town (so he could kill Klaus) it became her business.

  8. Luring Klaus and Co. back to town was revealed to have been masterminded by Celeste all along and Genevieve went along with her plans the whole time. On top of that, witches made deals with the Mikaelsons and then broke them after they got to town knowing full well the kind of people they were dealing with.

"Klaus certainly doesn't seem to hold a grudge against Genevieve for being stabbed..."
So what. Elijah's opinion of Genevieve isn't beholden to Klaus' and Elijah isn't the one sleeping with her either.

"When Rebekah & Marcel chose to involve Genevieve in their plot to
bring Mikael to town (so he could kill Klaus) it became her business."
Rebekah and Marcel were her business. Nothing else.

  9. But Elijah was mentioning in this clip how she had partook in "taking" Klaus & Rebekah and seemed to be angry with her on their behalf. He didn't seem to list any grievances of his own. Klaus seems fine so I don't understand why Elijah would hold a grudge against her on Klaus' behalf.

I disagree. If she wanted to tell Klaus about how she died (or show him) that her choice to to make. Rebekah killed her because she wanted to go warn Klaus that Mikael was on his way once she realized that his life might be in danger - so I have no issue at all with her letting him know what really happened because she died because of it.

  10. They tortured Elijah's family. He doesn't have to hold a grudge on anyone's behalf. That's already reason enough for him.

"so I have no issue at all with her letting him know what really happened because she died because of it."
Having a conversation and actively helping to plot against the family are two entirely different things.

  11. I don't think she was plotting against them though. I think Genevieve's entire agenda was to show Klaus what Rebekah & Marcel did and how died because of it (which furthered Celeste's agenda to drive the family apart). All she did was expose the truth - she wasn't plotting against them thus far (and she wasn't plotting against them when she did the spell to bring Mikael to town either because she had no idea who he was - she though she was helping out Rebekah by doing her a favor and helping her get in contact with her father).

Marcel OTOH is currently actively plotting against them trying "reclaim" the city and whatnot - but thus far there has been nothing to suggest that Genevieve is doing the same.

  12. Of course she was plotting against them. In order to enact her revenge she had to follow Celeste's plan and assist the group. Everyone had a part to play for each other's revenge. That was the whole idea. Everyone got their individual revenge and doing so helped make Celeste's plan to make Elijah suffer come to fruition.

  13. It looks like Elijah can be just as bitchy towards his siblings lovers as they can be, lol. Of course she'd ask to celebrate their sacred witch holiday, he's the one that made peace with them. If he wasn't interested in peace because of their past actions towards his family, he didn't have to do it. I'm thinking back to when he slaughtered the last remaining witch elder and her little helpers because "Nobody hurts his family and lives. NOBODY." Well, apparently that was a lie but I guess we all knew that since Elena and Co are still alive after KILLING KOL.
I partically even like Genevieve either, I get bad SGU flashbacks whenever I see that actress on screen, lol.

  14. Why does elijah look like Stefan? and he is starting to act like one too.
Gen is the only witch beside sophie i ever liked. If she gets killed i will stop caring about witches agenda again. Gen is the only witch right now who doesn't want the war between the witches and vampires to go on. (and that's why, she will die by Monique's hands) Elijah should protect her instead of pushing her away.

  15. This is taking forever.
