    I ship Pete/Myka so much and I love them, but the rushing of their storyline is so weird. Slow down a little! Pete's feelings for Myka used to be subtle and now they're hammering it in hardcore.


    Also, LOL at Pete bolting after that serious conversation. I think he realized after Myka died how he truly felt about her and is panicking and not handling it very well. Myka doesn't feel that way (yet) and is rightfully weirded out.

    And the girl who played Claire is familiar. Who is that? And whoa, that storyline got dark fast. Damn. Hopefully Claudia can save her.

    Yup! I wouldn't have minded if Myka/HG was endgame even though I love Pete/Myka, but seems like it's ending in our favor. Feel bad for the Myka/HG shippers, though- sucks the pairing got sunk like this.

    And yup, true! Not sure how they can handle this with four episodes left, but looking forward to finding out.

    Yay! another Pete/Myke shipper! we are the minority, most go for Myka/HG... My heart melted last episode when Pete said he would always put her first...

    I would've rather had Myka and HG to be honest, but the writers never even tried to support it and they went to great lengths to actively kill it last year. I'd be perfectly happy with this.

    I love Pete and Myka as best friends who always there for each other why every Tv show with a female and male lead they have to be together can't we have two people who opposite sex just be friends

    I have to say the whole Pete/Myka thing is a real disappointment. Hopefully it will stay a one-episode thing, like the hockey episode or the drunked jungling ball one. The Artie/Claudia/Steve's part, however, pretty much saved it, so I'm putting a ''Good'' here. Could've been better just by removing that last scene between Pete and Myka.

    First off Wtf is with the high Awful Votes...

    2nd episode was a really good episode with a mix of personal and professional.
    Gotta give props to Mrs. Frederic for starting that conversation.
    And Pete for being a bad ass and suggesting a platonic baby. (I guess this what people are voting Awful for? idk, thinking its happening to fast all of a sudden, but hey when there is 5 episodes to go how slow do you want want them to go about giving resolutions to many of the story lines).
    They said from that one episode that Pete wanted a Family, which I thought they would start working towards after that episode, but didn't so I'm glad they got back to that point.
    Myka got a good glimpse of why her and Pete Platonic or Romantic might be a good fit via their SS friends.

    The Claire Plot of the episode was also done well. I'm glad Claudia got to see what really happened. What happened to Claire was one big consequence of using an artifact. And I guess the stronger the Artifact the worse a side effect one will get. I'm sure when she wakes up she will be troubled by what she did to her parents.

    Anyway this episode for me just gave me an insurance of what will become of Pete and Myka in case they do not touch on it too much after this episode or even in the finally. It would be established that they would have a platonic kid. For me anyway.
    But from here I like them together, and I would not mind a platonic or a romantic outcome.

    When HG was present I was able to see that there was that little bit of Myka/HG ship, but it never went anywhere, so I always wondered if there ever was a thing between them or it was just a fan wish.
    Like did the Writers intentionally plant those flags/moments between them hoping to fit together in the end or they never wanted that.
    I haven't been to the last 3 Comic Con so I wouldn't know if someone asked a question about that topic, but it would be a good question to ask post series end or some other future remembering the show conference/interview.

    For that every(Most of the) Tv show thing, I would say, Romance is part of like, and whether a few like it or not most people like it when the main female lead and main male lead get together, we sort of want the main characters to be special to each other in someway. Its just the way it works.

    I always feel like somehow this is just how it is:
    For a Story to work it needs a main character who is special in some way, which most are, and when you have 2 main characters of the opposite sex who are special, you kind of ask why would some female lead romance some regular character in the story rather then with the special character(I know everyone is special in their own way, but in stories that isn't always the case, we viewers/readers are sort usually forced to look through the eyes of the main character and we some random dude or gal comes in play we sometime antagonize them.) And that's why most of the time the main leads always get together.

    Actually, no, that's kinda lame and overused. Can't a guy and a girl just be friends, really? Especcially with this being the last season and all, with 4 seasons of them just being friends, this feels so forced and... wrong!

    Now, it's not like I'm gonna stop watching the show or not aknowledge this part of it if they really go down that path. The rest of the storyline with Claire and Valda seems pretty interesting, after all! And, hey, we don't know if they'll really go down that path, for all we know it was just an horrible idea that one writer wanted to throw out here and we'll barely ever touch it again. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

    It may be overused, but its gonna keep happening.

    And this maybe be true, " for all we know it was just an horrible idea that one writer wanted to throw out here and we'll barely ever touch it again". But that one bad idea will let many fans have some kind of closure if they don't touch on the subject again.

    Wasn't so much the writers (except perhaps Drew Z Greenberg) as it was how Joanne Kelly and Jaime Murray decided to play it. It was their initial decision that the characters should "fall in love a little bit" and some of the writers played to that, post-2x07. There was never, prior to the promotion of this season, any indication that the writers intended any characters to hook up in the end.

    The writers didn't support it AT ALL. The actresses, Joanne Kelly and Jaime Murray decided to make their characters flirty. The writers never liked it because putting HG and Myka together was never their idea, so in the previous season they actively took steps to sink the ship.


    Myka and HG are very popular with the fans of the show, but the writers didn't care. The ship is pretty much dead in the water now, and unfortunately a lot of people are pissed off about it.

    Not entirely true. It was always Jack Kenny who was strictly against it. But even he said that if he had more time he would have explored the Myka/HG relationship. It wasn't their previous intention but they did listen to the actresses.

    I loved this episode too and I am thinking that the Pete and Myka "thing" has always been there in a subtle way. Yes, they are "just" partners but I think this episode was to open their eyes to maybe what they both feel for each other in another example that only can be done the W13 way and that is comedy. These 2 characters have always been each others ying and yang in this strange sci fi world, so why not have them end up being a couple before this show finally ends?

    I sort of felt that the whole Claudia/Claire storyline is a little strange. It is nice to have some more of Claudia's backstory but I'm not really enjoying this whole secret of keeping Claudia all these years from her comatose sister. I understand that this is how Claudia was linked to the warehouse and how she has this special ability that will make her the next caretaker but I was hoping for a better type of storyline for Allison S. the actress. It would be nice if we also get a return to the show of her brother Joshua and have some closure for their own family before this all ends.

    We always have to remember that W13 has always been a "fun" sci fi show. Yes, it has it's serious moments at times but all in all this show was meant to be the most hilarious spoof on using strange, historical artifacts that gave our characters the ability to do the impossible in the most strangest way and that way has always been using comedic storylines to save the day. :)

    It may be the worst episode they have ever had, writing wise. The characters were out of character, especially Mrs. Frederic, the dialogue was like watching anvils rain from the sky, there was little of the trademark humor, and absolutely everything felt like they were rushing to cram it all in when they would have been much better off just dropping somethings altogether. I don't think there is a conspiracy in the voting. Most people I know actively did not like this episode, including my podcast partner who tends to like most everything this show does.

    I don't mind the other set of Secret Service Agents and their interactions with Pete and Myka. I like the Secret Service guy from his tv appearances I've seen in the past. However, the show's laying it on thick that Pete and Myka will be a thing. I suppose you can't really develop the relationship too slowly, with just a few episodes left. Still, I thought what Pete said to Myka, and how he said it and ran, by episode's end, to be really sweet.
