I liked the episode, though I could use a time out with the whole Pascal/Margaux story, the show still needs to figure out exactly what to do with Margaux.
Having Mason poisoned by japenese herb is the exact kind of thing I want to see every week!

  5. Better than last episode, still way worse from the best days of Revenge. Anyway, Stevie is gone I hope so one boring character is out, whats left now is Margaux. From what I've seen so far, I'm afraid that writers want to put Emily and Jack together in the end, so Aiden will be probably killed, which will be my goodbye to this show :D

  6. I hate it when the writers ignore chemistry and force the story to go by the original plan. Emily and Jack have zero chemistry. She should be with Aiden. I totally agree, if he dies, I quit watching.

  7. If you don't see chemistry between Emily and Jack, it doesn't mean it's not there. I see their chemistry.

  8. - I feel like Pascal is this season's The Initiative. When the f**k did he become so vital for the story? He's everywhere and connected to everything and I just can't get into it.
    - Stevie is the third character this season to be introduced only to be written off prematurely without really having a proper storyline.
    - Emily kept Mason quiet by using a magical face cream to fake his death and send him off to the Maldives? This is the kind of stuff I wanna see.
    - Can be please give Nolan a break? It's bad enough all the relationships went south, let's not make his friends turn on him as well.

  9. I can't believe I'm saying this when not too long ago I was praising the show for how amazing the first half of Season 3 was... but I'm on the verge of quitting. I'm bored to tears and actually voted "Poor" (bash me if you want).

NOTHING is happening. Seriously, we took a whole episode for Emily to find out that Pascal is connected to the Flight 197 business, then another whole episode to find Aiden's father is connected to Pascal, then ANOTHER whole episode to find out that some reporter who may or may not be alive is connected to Aiden's father? WTF? At this pace, we *might* make some actual plot progress by the midseason finale next year. *rolls eyes*

Charlotte is still a freaking plot device that doesn't stop flip-flopping in its loyalties for a single episode. Two seconds ago she was BFF's with Jack and adored her nephew and now, after she catches a few hints of Jack conspiring with Emily which can't honestly, surprise her, she's making a 180 and siding with Daniel against Jack? And of course Javier turns on Nolan, the friend who let him stay at his house after he got out of prison and had nowhere to stay, also in 2 seconds. WTF?

I started out liking Margaux. Now I just want her off my screen, and not just because her stylist has gotten drastically worst at his/her job. I DON'T GIVE A FRAK about Voulez (the successful business she created - except for where it was a failure two episodes ago and Pascal had to save it through his illegal dealings, you mean?), the LeMarshal empire or Conrad taking over said empire. Not to mention how this once confident and self-possessed woman gets jealous at the sight of Jack and Emily, and Jack in turns gets jealous at the sight of Margaux and Daniel - and how did these two suddenly become all chummy again after Margaux fired Daniel without even hesitating or looking conflicted? Yes, Conrad was blackmailing her, but it's hardly believable for Daniel not to hold a grudge and to go back to being so close with her in such a short space of time.

Did Emily even do anything in this episode except for being Aiden's support system? Seriously, what happened to the badass vengeful crusader who has schemes upon schemes going on? (Also, their reunion wasn't terribly dramatic considering that they ALREADY reunited in 3x15 after Aiden's little water-boarding session, and were then suddenly apart again in 3x17 because the writers appear to suffer from short-term memory loss.)

The only good thing about this episode was Mason Treadwell. Although the bullshit about the Japanese cream that mimics death... give me a break.

I don't know what happened to the show since it came back from the latest break and started airing at 10/9c, but it's unrecognizable right now. Since the immediate aftermath of Daniel shooting Emily, Revenge has simply not had even a vague facsimile of a plot. I can no longer feel bad about the ratings dropping because it is well-deserved. Since Season 4 is almost a sure thing, I really hope Sunil Nayar does a LOT of meditating about the show in the summer and retools it significantly. The snoozefest that has been the second half of Season 3 better not continue.
