Mader, who plays a version of the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz, said that the show will soon be heading back to Oz and that we’ll meet more characters from that world. We’ve already met a flying monkey who turned out to be the Wizard (Christopher Gorham) and it’s been reported that Glinda will be introduced soon as well (played by Sunny Mabrey). But, what about that film’s central character?
“I’m really glad we get to go back to Oz again,” Mader said. “We get a lot of stuff in Oz and we get to meet Glinda any minute now. Glinda and Dorothy are coming. So, that was really fun. That felt like we were in a whole different TV show. It just felt like Once Upon a Time in Oz. There’s really fun stuff coming up with that.”

I'm convinced now that Baby Nolan is going to be a girl and named Dorothy. I feel like that's something the show would do.
ReplyDeleteAfter just watching the new episode I am too. When Zelena needs 4 things for the spell and the first 3 have been things from the Lion, Tin-man and Scarecrow it only makes sense needing the baby would make it Dorothy.

ReplyDeleteI could see Dorothy come from the future and prevent Zelena in the final from casting her curse. But that's just a wild guess. I'm more for the Charmed baby to be Ozma.

ReplyDeleteIt makes sense, but I'm thinking if we are to see her somewhat as we know her, then I think Zelena must attempt the spell and either make two [competing?] parallel universes [there are som Fringe allusions lately], or we would have to have flash forwards.

ReplyDeleteI'd love to see the Charming baby as Dorothy, who'll grow up and break the curse on Ozma. Then they could fall in love and be co-rulers of Oz together.
ReplyDeleteWell, the Dorothy appearance is no surprise (also remember that final episode's title ...). Most curious: who will she be? Newborn daughter of Snow? A whole new character?
