ReplyDeletethis season? Wasnt it pose to be one season show? And what about the fact that at the beginning of the first episode they say its based on the true story? Is it? Or its just made up?
ReplyDeleteYes but if it gets renewed it will be just like True Detective and American Horror Story where there is new season new storyline and new characters.

That is just made up. They did the same thing at the beginning of the film that inspired the series, the film creators thought it would make people take it more serious.

ReplyDeleteAlthough the film plot is completely fictional, the Coen brothers claim that many of the events that take place in the movie were actually based on true events from other cases that they threw together to make one story. Joel Coen noted:
"We weren't interested in that kind of fidelity. The basic events are the same as in the real case, but the characterizations are fully imagined ... If an audience believes that something's based on a real event, it gives you permission to do things they might otherwise not accept."
Even though this is meant to be a limited series I would like to see it more than one season and I think if it is succesful it will get a 2nd season :) I haven't and won't watch the movie but I just Saw the pilot of Fargo and I'm hooked to the series! So funny, great story and an awesome cast :)))
