  2. Oliver, Sarah, and Felicity are in the van.

  3. so Is this Roy? http://i.imgur.com/MbzYNWK.jpg

  4. is he like undercover or what

    ReplyDelete
  5. It looks like Roy has been kidnapped and is hooked up to some kind of Mirakuru machine.

    ReplyDelete
  6. That's what I saw. My question is how the hell did he get kidnapped?? He left while Slade was still in starling!! And I don't the prisoners he released he just let some of them leave town. They don't even know who Roy is. Sigh...the torture of this wait is already unbearable.

    ReplyDelete
  7. that's isabel with the gun

    ReplyDelete
  8. I see they put the two Flash characters in the promo.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I'm not really concerned about the specifics of how Roy got into this mess as long as he didn't do something stupid like go full-turncoat and volunteer for it.

I'm hoping for one of two outcomes here:
    A) Using Roy's blood to juice the prisoners will drain him of all the Mirakuru in his system, reverting him back to a normal d-bag instead of a super-powered d-bag. Or...

    B) The process he's undergoing is too much for him and he dies.

Since option B is much less likely to happen I'll have to cross my fingers and hope that option A does.

  10. I actually found someone who doesn't like the idea of Roy having powers... I thought I was all alone on that aspect.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I never liked it. This was supposed to be a 'no powers' show and I wish they'd get back to that, ASAP.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Oliver, Sara and Felicity in the van!! amazing! This episode looks insane, and we have to wait 2 weeks? omg

I completely disagree (well, not about Roy, he's a waste of screen time).

They've been using the extended DCU so well, and so much it requires powers, that I think it's completely foolish to want the show to regress. It's a better show now than it was in the first season.

And once you go Flash, you don't go back.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Ok well B sounds awful. I don't want him dying, so I'm going to go with A b/c that wasmy first thought when iI saw the promo after the episode aired. I think his power will be transferred into those prisoners, thus Slade having his army.

    ReplyDelete
  15. No, you're not alone...

    ReplyDelete
  16. Slade knows who Roy is. That's all it takes.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I think that's bull. Slade had no idea Roy was leaving. Idet that Roy knew Roy was leaving. It'll bug me til I see it.

    ReplyDelete
  18. It doesn't require him knowing Roy was leaving. He knows who Roy is. So he knows Roy has the right blood in him as well. Roy has been in his plans for sometime since Roy survived.

    ReplyDelete
  19. CAN'T WAIT to see Felicity in action :D:D:D:D

    ReplyDelete
  20. That's not what I meant. What I meant was... b/c it was unplanned that Roy was leaving. And Slade has every single step planned. Regardless if he knows who Roy is or not, it makes no sense how he upped and left town, the prisoners just HAPPEN to be out of town too, then all of a sudden he's randomly getting kidnapped. ESPECIALLY since he has the mirikaru in him, it should NOT be that easy for Roy to be such a target against humans. And I'm assuming Roy was going to Central City.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Sadly it's going the exact opposite direction, according to SA at a Con last weekend, the No Powers Rule is out. I really, really, hate that.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Are you sure that's Laurel? I'm hearing on various sites that it's Isabel/Summer with the gun.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'm sure. I mean I didn't pause it like I usually would. But I saw a gun in Laurel's hand, and she was pointing it down, and then she was Gasping like something just shocked her. I'll look again, but it was definitely Laurel's face I saw doing that. Not Isabel.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I just paused it at the 20 second mark and I think that might be Isabel/Summer, not Laurel.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Honestly can't wait for this.. Laurel will find out about Sara/Canary too...?

    ReplyDelete
  26. It's definitely Isabel.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yeah it is. I just paused it. Haha thanks.. Oops! Lol

    ReplyDelete
  28. Yeah it is. I paused it. Lol thanks.

So the Man Under The Hood is Slade?
When they announced the episode title, I thought it was Oliver.

    Nice use of Roy.

    ReplyDelete
  30. It's getting annoying. Almost the whole cast knows that Oliver is the Arrow.

    ReplyDelete
  31. i think that Slade new what was going to happen that`s why he kidnnaped Thea knowing that it will affect both Oliver and Roy and he can use Roy for his advantage, we saw him leaving the city, that's corrrect but who knows if Slade had a party looking for him already?, one thing for sure is that Slade have to be the one that takes him away, Roy can easily kill anyone that goes in his way, his only match being Slade.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Of course Deathstroke doesn't fear an arrow. Like someone suggested, it's probably time for Oliver to get a freaking Buffy-style rocket launcher.

This looks so freaking epic! 2x18 was definitely the best episode in a while, and it looks like the pace isn't letting up.

    ReplyDelete
  33. It's not regression at all and there's nothing about this show that
    'requires' powers.

Arrow has successfully adapted many characters known
    to possess

inconceivable powers and abilities from the very beginning: The Count, Shrapnel, Anatoli Knyazev, Sebastian Blood, Cyrus Gold, and even characters without abilities have been adapted for the TV series as well like Tockman, The Royal Flush Gang, The Dollmaker, and Firefly. This is what Arrow is good at and there's no earthly reason for the show not to stay the course.

    ReplyDelete
  34. You and me both. Ugh.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I'm assuming Diggle is driving.

    ReplyDelete
  36. lets hope my friend, im kinda tired of Roy punching everyone, honestly i would have preferred Slade to kick his ass. i mean, when Roy punched him and Slade fifnt even feel it i was so LOL

    ReplyDelete
  37. i agree, i mean Oliver basically has nothing to use against Slade and there are already too much people with powers...

    ReplyDelete
  38. we three xD the reason i started watching Arrow was because it was supposed to be a Dark Knight interpretation of green arrow...

    ReplyDelete
  39. honestly i dont mind about that, its not like that heavy secret for me, the island is.

    ReplyDelete
  40. who knows but still if she believes oliver is the arrow then Sarah/Canary its like doing 2+2 xD

    ReplyDelete
  41. yea maybe Slade is trying to generate the army of mirakuru using Roy to transfer it to the others

    ReplyDelete
  42. Too much going on in the promo.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Unfortunately, my hopes for de-powering Roy in this episode have already been obliterated. See for yourself in this upcoming Arrow synopsis:
    http://www.spoilertv.com/2014/04/cw-upcoming-episodes-press-release.html

    ReplyDelete
  44. btw "Roy spins out of control"? What's the difference with every episode roy is in? xD

    ReplyDelete
  45. Ha! I dunno, maybe the 'spins' part? Because the 'out of control' part is always there.

"This is what the show is good at" - lists the worst disappointments from the show to date. I mean, seriously, you dug the Royal Flush Gang or Firefly in this context? Because it was more Smallville-esque character butchering, and there was no weight behind their appearance whatsoever.

You mention Cyrus Gold, but nobody cares about Cyrus Gold - they care about Solomon Grundy. Can't do that without the supernatural. Can't do a lot of things without lamely cutting the identity out of characters to fit them into a powerless universe.

I was skeptical when I found out they were doing The Flash, but it turns out that this might be the best live action use of the extended DCU ever. I want to see the Lazarus Pits, I want to see Grundy, I'd like to see Etrigan the Demon and so on. I don't want to see gimped versions that share their name and nothing else.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Disappointment to you apparently means 'doesn't closely match my viewing preferences.' It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with how the show approached those characters. If you want powers, I'm sure there'll be plenty on Flash. There's something to be said about a marked difference in creative approach and I sure as hell don't want these two shows to be clones of one another.

  48. I gotta say, If they kill Sara off to shoehorn Laurel into the Black Canary role I’m quitting. Sara is the only BC for me: she’s kickass, looks great in leather and has a 6 pack and most importantly she has a great story, lovely personality, great chemistry with the Arrow-Team, especially Felicity [You’re cute ] and is equal to Oliver in terms of Skill and combat training.

Having to reconstruct Laurel as Canary just to get to the point where Sara already has been and is is not a plot line I care to see just because Sara has the wrong name or whatever purest reason. Caity has handled the 3 roles so far (Island Sara, Starling City Sara & Canary) very nicely and has shown good physical skills, great chemistry with pretty much everyone on the show, and good emotional range. Plus, Caity is already very popular with the arrow Fanbase.

This is no knock against Laura/Katie, just an acknowledgment as to how well I think Caity has done as Sara/Canary.

So yeah, I’m pretty optimistic about the story (This season has been amazing), and i trust the writers.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I guess we'll have to see how the next episode plays out. B/c if Slade "has to be the one that takes him away" then he would've physically had to be out of town when Roy left, and he wasn't. Unless Slade has a tracking device on Roy's car. idk how he'd get to him b/c those prisoners wouldn't stop Roy. I just hope when the show comes back it'll start right where it left off, b/c i don't want them doing days worth of a jump then all of a sudden we see Roy strapped up to that stupid machine.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Well i think it is, since they will think of him as a killer and also more ppl will try to help him and i believe we will see less Arrow on the late episodes than when only diggle and feli knew. Also the island is in the past, noone cares :D

Looks like Laurel is putting a boar together to try and prove Slade right or wrong, so I'm guessing she doesn't believe him outright and hopefully doesn't mention it to anyone. She could become the one with the secret and be able to see things in a whole new light.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I canny with this promo! Arrow is just tooo tooo toooooooooooooo good right now. It's absolutely brilliant, I'm so hooked.

    ReplyDelete
  53. It's not about her having the wrong name it's about being true to the story or more importantly doing right by your lead. Laurel was always from the very beginning suppose to be Black Canary. The fact that Sara is holding that title for now is really not the issue, the issue is Caity is a guest star and Katie is your female lead. So unless Katie Cassidy is leaving this show or is demoted as far as where she ranks in the credits. She will get her story back because at the end of the day the female lead always does.. this story reminds me of what Madison did to EW, it's just a matter time before Laurel transforms into this character and takes back what was always hers and that includes (whether I like it or not) Ollie Queen/Arrow as well.

  54. #$#%^$^%$^&*^%$#%^&(*!!!!!! Oh shit!!!! Felicity's in the van!! She's so sexy in black. My cute little girly nerd. "This was your idea." "I didn't think you'd actually say yes." DUH!! He listens to you!! All those flashes were crazy insane. Sara kicking ass, Isabel with a gun. Diggs blowing shit up! GA AND BC on the bike! (i love those moments). Roy in some kinda trouble! (again). Ughhh! two weeks my ass!!

  55. At 0:12, during one of the millions of images edited in there, we see a close up of the person's face and it does appear to be Roy.
