  1. I am thinking Marla, for some reason.

  2. So am I! Perfect occasion for Roger to step in and be a parent!

  3. Do we know that someone definitely will?

  4. yes! Someone will die, someone will lose her/his powers, someone will end up in limbo, someone will lose his/her memory.
There was a spoiler realeased yesterday I think.

  5. I put Cars, mostly out of hope :). If they think they have a hope in Hell of getting renewed (they probably dont), they will keep John and Jedikia, who are the only two characters who I truly love. I think The Founder will stick around to be the Big Bad, so they can redeem Jedikiah and have him work actively with The Tomorrow People. Killing Roger would have the most impact, since John, Steven, Maria and Jedikiah will all be affected by it.

  6. There was a huge spoiler yesterday regarding what happens in the finale.

Here the ink if you're interested: http://tvline.com/2014/03/26/the-good-wife-season-6-spoilers-alicia-finn-romance/

  7. Cheers! I definitely missed that.

  8. I hate the fact that so much goes down in the finale when the future of this show doesn't look so good. I'm already dreading a The-Secret-Circle-esque ending. Ugh.

  9. I think Russell will die because in shows like this, likable supporting characters tend to die in season finales. The Founder will probably die to set up Roger coming back to be the next Big Bad. Roger might have been just as bad as the Founder, or possibly worse. It's too bad the show might not get renewed. It's an interesting story.

  10. LOL... that's probably going to be it. :( And then they'll end up permanently stuck in Limbo, a.k.a. fan fiction.

  11. I like the idea of Roger being the villain, as cruel as it would be to Stephen. Quite the delicious, clever twist that would be.

  12. Man, imagine how horrible that would be for Stephen and Luca... getting one parent back only to lose the other. If this happens and by some miracle there's a second season, imagine the ANGST!!!!!!!111 (tm Supernatural)

  13. Interesting that Jedikiah is in second place in the poll. I know he's a baddie but personally I don't see them offing him so soon. Since they're operating under the (very very very optimistic) assumption of there being a second season, I think they'll want to keep the option of developing him further. His motives and allegiance are still very much shrouded in mystery and there's a lot of room to play with such a character.

I could see it being Cara because fans don't like her. As the season has progressed, there's been more and more backlash against her and it must have reached TPTB's ears. Astrid and Russell are much more popular, which could work both ways - scare the writers off killing them, or make them the perfect fit for a tragic death.
Ultimately, it's very hard to make predictions here because I think everyone is fair game except John and Stephen. Stephen is the lead, and John is not only the most popular character, but the one holding this whole show together: he has the biggest heart, the most charisma, the most significant ties to other characters and every aspect of the mythology. Without him it would pretty much fall apart.

  14. As much as it pains me, I voted Astrid. Simply because of the spoilers. I know she and John share an intimate moment that ends badly or something of the sort.

Can't be Hilary, she's not in the final, she already left the set... (Too bad, I like her with Stephen). I voted Russell. I don't want him to die, but it can probably be only him or Astrid. I think The Founder will get stuck in Limbo...

    ReplyDelete
  16. That's not what the spoiler says. It says they share a heartbreaking and beautiful moment, but that could mean anything. That doesn't mean death.

  17. I voted for The Founder. If they killed Astrid, I would literally have no reason to watch because the main reason I even want a Season 2 is for John/Astrid. They're one of the most popular things about the show...if not the most popular. Why would they kill them off? Makes no sense to me.

  18. I never said it was word for word what I said, which is why I added the 'something of the sort.' Heartbreaking isn't good and I said intimate because that is what the recent spoiler says. Also, "When people are facing imminent doom, you can't really fault somebody for stealing a kiss from whoever they can get it from" was said by exec producer regarding Jostrid. So yea, I have MY reasons why I voted for Astrid. I never said any of it meant she would absolutely die, but it's how I feel. Astrid is my favorite character and the only reason I still watch along with Jostrid, so her death is not at all what I want to happen.

Why do they have to kill someone?! Anyway, here's what I'm thinking.
    - John is definitely safe. I would say he's the heart of show, even more than Stephen.
    - Jed is also safe since he is the one who is killing the "victim".
    - Klemmer said that a very beloved character will die and I don't think The Founder is considered to be a very beloved character (maybe I'm wrong), so based on that, he probably won't be the one. Although killing The Founder would make sense, so I would still put him in the risk zone.
    - Russell is needed for the comedy. Without Russell, the show would be just be gloom and doom. Killing Russell would be a big mistake IMO. Hopefully he's safe.
    - Hilary is not in the finale, so it's definitely not her.
    - Charlotte, TIM, Irene are all safe since killing them won't have a too big of an impact and I think the writers are going for someting big.
    - I can see it being Morgan, especially since Jed is the killer. That would be a somewhat of an awesome twist with Jed killing the woman he loves. Also, judging from 1.16, he is more than capable to do so. Killing Morgan would mean that Jed will kill his unborn child as well. This could make a very interesting SL if there's a second season (who am I kidding.... TTP is probably as dead as the character who is gonna die).
    - Marla is also in the risk zone. Maybe Jed will kill her to get to Roger??
    - Roger... oh the irony if they have spent the entire season trying to get him back from the dead just so he dies again :D Could happen though. This would be the second time Jed kills his brother, question is would he?
    - Astrid is probably safe, only because of her massive popularity among the fans but according to the spoilers, there's a heartbreaking moment between her and John which could indicate that she might be the one who dies. But I still say she's safe. Killing Astrid would actually be the perfect choice since she's popular enough to get a reaction from the audience but not important enough to effect the plot on a bigger scale.
    - Cara is risky... she may be a main character but the hate against her puts her in the risk zone. If I'm not mistaken, Klemmer did say that a couple will die which could mean that the person dying is/will be in a relationship. This applies to Cara. Killing a main character is really big, will the writers go there?

  20. I agree completely and especially with your last sentence, I've literally said the exact same thing. They have no problem writing male characters who are badass but still kind and compassionate - like John - but when it comes to women, they often make them aggressive, bitchy and obnoxious because they somehow think it creates a "tough chick" persona. Which it doesn't, it only makes them annoying and unlikable. Regardless of gender, a character with Cara's attitude towards others is one I immediately dislike. It's the same with Laurel on this season of Arrow. It's a pity because I actually loved Cara in the early episodes. Then the cheating happened and it's only been downhill from there.

  21. Thank you. I'm not sure why people even watch an action/adventure/sci-fi series if romance is all they care about. Plenty of romance dramas around where the characters do little except hook up with everyone in sight.

Spot on with the male writing comparison! I would love if they could write a female like they are writing John but we are instead stuck with sweet but weak Astrid and badass but bitchy Cara. Such a waste of female characters who could have been great.

You know what annoys me even more is the total disrespect of some of the shippers who say that they don't care if TTP gets cancelled because their ship won't happen. It's like a huge slap in the face to the rest of us who are really invested in the show and would love nothing more than a second season. Not to mention those who don't watch some of the episodes because their ship is not in them. Ugh they make my blood boil!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. I agree so much! Happy to know I'm not the only person who thinks that, but whyyyyyy are there so many shippers? It ruins shows for me when writers give in to shippers, and everything becomes about pleasing all the different ships. Especially The Vampire Diaries. It's killing me that what used to be one of my favorite shows with many twists and a lot of excitement, has turned into a "okay, here's something for the Delena fans. Here's something for the Stelena fans. Here's something for the Steroline fans. Here's something for the Klaroline fans." Elena can't ever be with anyone for more than like two episodes because someone will be angry. God!!
Sorry for going a little off topic, I just needed to get that out of my system, and TVD is the most obvious show when it comes to annoying ships :D

  25. Late reply, but anyway: it's the exact same double standard women suffer from IRL, isn't it? They can either be nice and sweet but never stand up for themselves, or be raging bitches that everyone hates. There's no such thing as a confident, assertive woman who still exudes warmth and kindness. *eyeroll* But of course, that's never a problem for men.
On the whole, the state of female characters on this show is pretty disappointing. Cara is deeply unlikable and being portrayed as a crap leader (which is annoying in itself, John made mistakes but was still framed as a good leader on the whole - but on the rare occasion that we see a woman in a leadership role, of course she sucks). Astrid barely gets anything to do and her short-lived role in the A-plot was that of a victim. Marla has potential but suffers from a lack of screentime and largely being defined as the protagonist's mother. Irene (who we have't seen in forever), Charlotte and even Morgan are really peripheral, and Morgan is mostly Jed's girlfriend. We don't really know much about Hillary but their sudden attempt to make her likable with that sob-story rang hollow, considering she ratted Astrid out and then excitedly asked Jed if he's going to have her killed...

  26. Hopefully everybody but John, Astrid, Russell and Stephen's mom. Cara can live too, tbh.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Exactly. The only people who ruined Cara are the ones who wrote her.

I think it's unfair how much hate the actress is getting. She can only do so much with what she is given.

Mind you, I still like Cara. I do understand her reasons for her actions, like when she kicked John out. She is incredibly insecure in her new leader role and she seems to be deeply affected by Julian calling her weak. It must have been really difficult for her when John out of all people went against her. So I do understand that she felt like she had to show everyone that she is not weak, even though she did overreact by doing so. The main problem is that the writers are not giving her any qualities of compassion at all. They are making her ice cold and when they let her go against the audience's golden boy (John), it's not surprising that so many people hate her. We can only hope that TPTB have realised this and fix it ASAP. I would hate it if they end up killing Cara because of the hate caused by themselves.

There was a picture of the writing staff posted on Twitter the other day. There were 11 men and only 2 women. No wonder TTP doesn't know how to write women when there's barely any women on the writing team.

Why do you think that TTP is dead? No hopes, at all? :/

The last episode got 0.3 which is really bad so yeah TTP is 95% dead.
