Definitely Rebekah and Davina!

ReplyDeleteI accidentally voted Camille. Meant to vote Rebekah, I'm not really fond of any of the others and the actresses who play Davina and Hayley are terrible.

ReplyDelete2) Genevieve - interesting character with a backstory shared with Rebekah.
3) Monique Devereaux - Soulful brown eyed beauty with a sociopathic stare (she never blinks) who appears emotionally stronger than Davina, if not a bit extreme (she killed her aunt Sophie for losing her/the faith and served Celeste to Elijah for her lies and dishonest!
I'm giving Hayley a chance since she "Brained" Celeste in the back of the head and took her hostage to help her family/people.

Be interesting to see how a poll on the overall favourite character would look. To me it was obvious Rebekah would win this one but I wonder how she'd fair against her brothers.

I used to really like rebekah but never appreciated her jumping any guy though he is the ONE. it's fine to search for love but it's like she has no type: blonde or raven haired, black white, nice guy or a jerk, she will go for anyone who so much as looks at her flirty, and it's not very realistic. Even being as lonely as she is, she can't be automatically into any guy.

I agree, Phoebe Tonkin is not a good actress and I can't like her character because of that.
ReplyDeleteI liked Rebekah a lot more when she was introduced on TVD. I don't really like her that much on this show though - I just see no reason why she's there at all. All she's done is conspire against Klaus and cause problems - if she's unhappy it's just baffling to me that she won't leave town to get her own life. I think she would have been better of staying in Mystic Falls with Matt most of the time. I keep waiting for her to have some sort of character development and to stop giving up everything and lusting after every man who crosses her path (first Stefan, then Damon (even though it was obvious it was as one-night stand and he felt nothing for her), and then onto Matt, then back to Stefan, then back to Matt, and then she got over Matt immediately and was onto Marcel and she was recently duped by Oliver who was a total stranger but all he had to do was look in her direction).
ReplyDeleteHayley is the opposite of Rebekah - she's grown on me a bit. I didn't like her at all on TVD and the fact that she lead 12 hybrids to their deaths in exchange for Shane telling her where her biological parents were buried made her totally unlikable for me. I still don't particularly like her - but I am starting to care about the werewolf storyline and if she un-curses her werewolf clan I'm interested to see where that will go and I actually think she's much more likable when she's doing that. Her being paired with Elijah does nothing for me and I have a hard time with the fact that she's lusting after her child's uncle - but when she's doing other things she's more likable.
Davina is okay. I'm not sure how I feel about her being back yet. I was able to sympathize with her when the witches lied to her and wanted to kill her but it seems like that's over so she should be back to being a normal witch now and not have any enhanced powers. I'd like to see her friendship with Josh developed more (maybe also a friendship with Cami) and I hope she won't be blindly loyal to Marcel anymore.
Cami I've never really liked, but she doesn't really bother me that much - as long as they're not trying to force a romance with her and Klaus. I find her uncle way more interesting and I wish he was a main character over her.
I've never hated Sophie the way most other people seem to. I understood her motivation - she was against the Harvest but then once the girls died and she saw it was working she wanted to complete it to resurrect the dead girls. I found it really sad that she ended up being killed by her own niece after everything she did was to get Monique back.
I like all of them, but I voted for Sophie and Camille....contrary to the trend.....
