    Not much different than the other promo except in this one you get Stefan and Caroline in a trunk or maybe that's the doppelganger. I dunno.

    When I think about what was in a recent article, I think Damon is going to wake up gasping with Liv bending over him because she's going to make him human again. I heard that witches can do that, and Luke and Liv are both really powerful. It's possible that Luke made Elena see bite marks on his neck to stop her from turning him, and he did that while under distress. A witch is supposed to intervene to stop Damon when he gets out of control, and that tidbit might not have been about the virus. Damon is out of control because he won't stop hurting Elena and then sleeping with her. Witches have always said that there's no way to break a sire bond. Tyler might hate Klaus because Tyler changed a hundred times in the mountains, but he's still obsessed with Klaus. Maybe there are ways to change how the sire bond works, but it never really goes away. Was that Tyler who was under attack by some red-haired witch? And was he fighting back with magic? Making Damon human again would give Elena back the ability to walk away from him, but she probably wouldn't because he'd no longer be such a huge threat to humanity.


    Why do i get the feeling that the writers are going to push Caroline and the new doppelganger together? I'm not eager to see the doppelganger get killed, but I don't think it's a good idea to make him Caroline's love interest just because the producers don't want her in a relationship with Elena's ex-boyfriend. Stefan's character has had a good run, but I honestly don't see how his character could serve any further purpose. For me, the introduction of a new doppelganger is a sign of another pending character death. I see no reason to bring another doppelganger into the show unless he's going to stick around for another season, and the doppelganger issue is supposed to be resolved permanently within a few episodes.

    Okkk, sooooooo, I paused the trailer at the right moments. The moments I only cared about seeing. We have Enzo and Caroline approaching The Human Stefan. (And I'm sorry to say but PW is packing on weight in his face. Is that on purpose or by accident?) And iI studied his clothes, now he's wearing his light blue shirt. Then he changes to a black shirt shirt. So that's definitely Human Stefan with Caroline in the trunk. And why do I say definitely? B/c the other scene shows Caroline choking Stefan with her bare hands, THEN she sees he's suffocating (obvisously) then she let's go, and he's gasping for breath.

    So as Caroline would say...GOOD NEWS. BAD NEWS. Bad News, unfortunately, that is human Stefan she's interacting with, not our real Stefan. Good news, in that trunk scene, they seem to be having a conversation, she is also looking down at his lips. Which means she's going to kiss him OR she's thinking about it. Hmm, that might also explain why she stops choking him. AND in addition to what iI just said, this could also mean, when she returns to MF, she may tell Stefan everything that happened, and they can actually have that special moment as "friends". LOL it's a win win all around.

    Only the witch that made the immortality spells can undo them, that's why Quetseya could do it and Ester could do it with her modified version of the spell. No other witch can.

    Was that mentioned on the show? I can't remember. There usually is a loophole in something that minor, though. Like I said, Luke and Liv are extremely powerful.

    I'm not sure if any of that is good news. It was out of character for Caroline to go on a kill mission at all. I think you're right. It looks like Caroline is trying to kill the doppelganger, ensuring that she won't be in a relationship with him or Stefan. Stefan won't want to romance Caroline, but he would accept that she isn't perfect and still be her friend. The doppelganger doesn't seem like the type to go for women who try to kill him. That would be like Elena dating Klaus. The doppelganger will probably play dead to make Caroline stop choking him, or maybe he'll come back to life when she starts to pull her hands away because he isn't destined to die yet. Katherine used to do that all the time. Everyone said that she was just too stubborn to die, but maybe it was just part of her power as a doppelganger, and Elena always won out in the end because she was more powerful than Katherine. Caroline isn't even a doppelganger. This new guy will take one look at Elena, and he'll be a goner. I think that's why the Travelers only want there to be two doppelgangers left. Matchmaking might be part of their agenda, or experiment, or whatever they're trying to do. I think Enzo will lock Caroline and the doppelganger in a trunk and bring them back to the Travelers' camp. There's a promotional photo of Caroline and someone who looks like Stefan trying to sneak away from the Travelers. i don't know if Markos will have shown up or not by that time.

    Trailers are such tricky things. It looks like part of the next love scene between Damon and Elena is a dream or a hallucination. The lighting is very strange. Then the Travelers are supposed to attack Tyler? I don't get that. Caitlin McHugh posted a photo hinting that there will be a scene between Sloan and Tyler in his wolf form, and she called him a werewolf. One reason I can think of for the Travelers going after Tyler could be that Elena's blood was used to make him a hybrid, and maybe her blood is still in him. The Travelers could also still be looking for a cure for the werewolf venom part of Elena's virus. Elena doesn't look sick anymore, but Sloan said it would take time to cure her. Obviously the Travelers don't want to re-create the werewolf venom virus because it's already been established that they want it cured, at least where Elena is concerned. The only other vampires around to infect are Enzo and Caroline, and they've been cooperating. Perhaps the Travelers feel that Tyler is too dangerous and want to do something about that. It occurs to me that werewolves might have been created by travelers, since werewolves were already in abundance by the time the Original Witch was around. Markos might want to do something with or for Tyler.

    Hell it's good news for me! And the rest of the Steroline shipper's out there. I'm talking from a shipper's POV. Not anything else. And who cares if it's out of character?? Everyone on this show is out of character as of late. So what Caroline is doing isn't exactly "shocking" to me. But then again i did say that she STOPS choking the human Stefan in the promo. So yeah. And as far as the human Stefan "Going" for that. We don't know what he's like, nor do we know if Caroline is even going to tell him what's going on. So you can't really say that he wouldn't go for the type that tries to kill him. B/c as far as we know, Caroline wouldn't open up with "Hey we wanna kill you to save my best friend." We all know how Caroline works. She flirts to get her way, talking your ear off to death, then she strikes. That's what she does. And i guarantee she'll do the same with this human Stefan. The only way she wouldn't do that, is if she followed Enzo's way, w/e that is. Or if Enzo decided to handle Human Stefan on his own. OR if they ran out of time (for w/e reason) and Caroline had no time to waste.


    As for Katherine. Katherine is just Katherine. I don't compare her to anybody on the show. Her other doppelgangers or otherwise. She was a stubborn, manipulative bitch, that refused to die, that never got her way, and ruined everyone's lives b/c of it. In a nutshell. May she ROT in Hell. As for the human Stefan. I doubt he'll even come that far. Meeting Elena in MF, and even if he did, she wouldn't take him anyway. We know nothing about this guy. We don't know if he's seeing someone, what his name is, IF he has family, nothing. So i'm not gonna make any assumptions about him. The only thing we know is that he's an EMT. That's about it. As for Enzo locking them in the trunk. You may be right. I could see him doing that. Maybe he got tired of Caroline's mouth and threw her back there? Hahaha. Now THAT i can believe. Or probably, Enzo went off somewhere, and they're hiding in the trunk, b/c they're surrounded by all those other people in the lot. I would say Travelers but i doubt they got to wherever Caroline and Enzo are THAT quickly.


    Idk. But for me. The only thing i care about is getting some good Steroline scenes. And maybe seeing what Liv and Luke are up to regarding Bonnie and everyone else. Idc about the Travelers, Sloan, Tyler, Jeremy, Enzo, i don't even care about my OTP. Now that's something i thought i'd never say. But it's true. My excitement lies with Steroline, and the L siblings with Miss Bonnie Bennett. Everything else is irrelevant. I'm soo over the doppelganger crap, and until Markos actually shows his face on screen, i won't worry about him either. Smh. Sigh.

    All Dopplegangers are supernatural thought it was explained and that's why they can't use the Gilbert rings remember when Elena stabbed Alaric (RIP)? She had to do that because she was supernatural and only then can the ring bring him back to life.

    It has been mentioned. It's also why no vamp in the history of vampirism had ever been cured before Katherine, there was literally no one else capable of doing it sans Quetseya and Esther. Not even Davina or any of the harvest girls in TO can do it.
