  1. Finally there are giving some airtime to Matt

  2. Damon has threatened to kill her brother multiple times, has attempted to do it multiple times, and has actually succeeded. He's doing it right now! And yet she is going to forgive him again, and Damon very likely won't have to answer for anything he's done.

I'm sorry, but the writers are stretching the believability of their relationship way too far in order to keep them together. It hurts my head just THINKING about Elena dismissing his actions again and taking him back. Because even for this show, that's so utterly ridiculous.

  3. I hope Jeremy moves out of the Salvatores (he had no business living there in the first place) and moves in with Matt.

  4. I know, right? For a second I suspected he had another passenger in his body. There are too many characters. Matt should stay on because he's one of the few humans left, but I'm tired of this show getting treated like Tim Kring treated Heroes. TVD still has plenty of potential with Caroline Dries involved, though.

  5. I honestly find Jeremy and Matt more interesting than Damon at this point.

  6. It's starting to look like Jeremy is going to kill Damon. It is his job, as one of the Five, to get rid of vampires that harmful. If he doesn't do it in the episode after this with Liv's help, someone else will probably do it by the end of the season. Since no one but Elena will want to resurrect someone like Damon, we'll see his specter or whatnot from the Other Side until Ian Somerhalder's contract expires. Or worse, he'll get sucked into hell like Katherine. I think it was said that other characters would get sent there. The big sex scene coming could have the same purpose as the one with Klaus and Caroline. It'll be something to please shippers before something happens to ensure that the relationship will never happen or won't continue.

  7. They can smirk all they want but we all know Elena is going to forgive him.

  8. Hahaha Jeremy and Matt having a little bit of fun. I like that.

  9. They're both completely damaged. Their vicious cycle of codependency is absolutely believable.

  10. That's it? Really? Damon almost gets Jeremy killed again and all he does is tease him a little? How disappointing. Jeremy has a free pass to do much more than that and he's wasting it.

  11. Which I don't mind. They're so screwed up that it makes sense. I just hope that the other characters don't brush it off. If (Oh, who am I kidding? I mean when.) they get back together it should cause a sh*tload of problems with everyone else on the show. Except Stefan because he has Elijah syndrome.

  12. You know I have never shipped DE/SE but in the early seasons I've always views the show as TVD - The Elena and Damon years....because of how they just never got called out on anything they did that hurt others, only Stefan use to carry that burden....he is too broody, possessive, dull, etc
How is it that 5yrs down I still view this show as TVD - The Elena and Damon years?

  13. Elena's character might go easy on Damon, but so far she's the only one. I've noticed that even Stefan is acting like he's tired of putting up with Damon, despite Damon's predicament. It seems like the more trouble Damon causes lately, the more he gets into, or the more trouble Elena gets into. The Travelers have already helped Wes put a virus in Damon in response to his killing spree with Enzo. Now that Damon has attacked not only Jeremy but also Tyler, there will be a problem if Elena gets back together with Damon without even blinking. Even Caroline will have reason to complain. Damon will probably be seen as a danger to everyone. Matt and Jeremy ganging up on Damon, and Stefan's snarkiness in the last episode, are signs that the majority will want Damon dealt with somehow. If Damon doesn't get killed, he will probably get more than one form of punishment before the season is over. There are a lot of people around with a lot of power. Maybe one of the witches or travelers will curse Damon, or someone will jump into his body while he's with Elena. Part of Jeremy's deal with Liv could be that Liv will help Jeremy kill Damon, or at the very least get him out of Elena's life.

I'm also starting to wonder if the sex scene that was discussed might actually be a dream. In the promo, we see Elena open her eyes like she's waking up. Because of this, I'm going to wait until after I see the actual episode before reacting to anything Delena. For all I know, Elena will get to Damon, hear the news, and then drain him dry. Also in the promo, Elena stood in front of a mirror, fully clothed, with blood on her mouth, asking "What am I?"

  14. You know what? This is another reason I want to see Ripper again. I want to see him do things to his own brother because despite the lack of humanity, many characters on the show have said that there really is no humanity switch. There is always some emotion, but the vampire doesn't realize that they're feeling anything. For instance, Elena was clearly jealous of Elijah's little reunion with Katherine, and appeared to care a little bit about Elijah's inability to accept that he was with the wrong person. Elena wouldn't have said anything to Elijah about Katherine, especially not what Katherine did to Jeremy, if Elena truly had no humanity.

  15. On that note, it's nice to see Jeremy and Matt have the upper-hand for once. It won't last so might as well enjoy it๐Ÿ˜œ

  16. Like the writers have the guts to kill Damon. Not with some passionate fans out there.

(I personally am not a big Damon fan; I only like him when he's nice.)

  17. "Elijah syndrome." Hahahaha

  18. The writers had the guts to kill Katherine, and people are still bullying Julie Plec on Twitter over it. She's ignoring them. Since Ian Somerhalder is still returning to Atlanta once in a while, I don't think that Damon will get killed off, at least not yet. The writers probably have more punishment in store for him that will seem like karma.

  19. I thought the main cast all had one more year on their contracts but I could be wrong. I was betting on at least one more season and then maybe whoever wants to could go to The Originals (if it makes it)

  20. There is a big difference between human Elena and vampire Elena. She is pretty screwed up herself presently.

  21. Katherine is not a main character and not everyone thinks Katherine should have stayed. I've heard a lot of people were tired of her, my family and I included.

  22. I'm trying to remember if a regular has ever been killed off before. I guess it was only people signed on for multiple episodes. I'm pretty sure an actor can get out of a contract if they want to, at least where Julie Plec is concerned. She's seems sort of laid-back with them. If someone gave proper notice and said that they were terribly unhappy or they had found another opportunity, the actor would probably be let go and their character would be given a proper sendoff. I've been wondering how exactly Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder are supposed to keep pulling off the love scenes. No one knows exactly what happened between them and of course it's nobody's business, but I think there's a point where "professional" becomes overkill. TV stars have dated before and broken up, and sometimes it causes a problem when one of them starts dating or marries someone else.

  23. I hate that Damon is not held accountable for anything he does He knew how bad Jeremy's death effected Elena when he died he first had helped her cope with his death and he was willing to put her through that pain again because she broke up with him because she decieded to leave him He does not love Elena there's no way anyone can argue that he does because when you turely love someone it doesn't matter if they choose to be with you or not you would never want them to go thru something that hurtful ever again. I understand that Elena is diffrent now that she is a vampire they say that all your scenes are heightened Elena was a smart loyal and had a clear scene of right and wrong and now she's just a love sick retard who turns the other way just because she loves him is she still sired?elena was ready to hang Stephen because he compelled Jeremy to talk to the vampire hunter and made him kill a vampire to make him the new hunter to help her get the cure because he loved her SO much but then Damon can actually snap jermeys neck and then allow Enzo to kill him again just because kathrine and Stephen got there in time by luck because kathrine knew where they were holding him hostage and brought him back with CPR don't change the fact he killed him twice I'm gonna be so pissed if they just get back together and she forgives him for everything all because kathrine broke up with him it will be all blamed on kathrine yet again even though Damon killed him thinking Elena broke up with him
