  1. Stiles vs Stiles.
    "You can't kill me!"

  2. My favorite scene is actually DarkStiles ranting about being 1,000 years old, but since it didn't make the cut I chose the school fight or Stiles figuring things out.

  3. As awesome as this finale was, and there were a lot of awesome scenes, I had to go with the Oni killing everyone in their path as the song Bad Moon Rising plays. It was just such a bad ass scene and a memorable one for me.

  4. That would have been my second choice. What a great song-to-scene pick. It made the whole thing even more chilling.

  5. That was my highlight too. It was such great tension with Lydia and Stiles moving back as if they were on the run, but really positioning DarkStiles where they needed him to be. Kudos all around for that scene!

  6. My eyes were glued to the screen with my jaw dropped during that scene. It was epic!

  7. The beginning with DarkStiles' snark saying that he would find Melissa himself after they stabbed the guy was pitch perfect as well.

  8. I agree completely! I said last night that I would put this episode of TW up against any cable or action drama for best directing/choreography/editing/acting. It was that well done. Dylan O'Brien has been absolutely perfect,

  9. Teen Wolf definitely upped their game in all areas this season. It has been one intense ride and tied with Sleepy Hollow for my favorite show of the 203-2014 TV season.

  10. How could you miss the Bad Moon Rising hospital scene? By far the baddassest (made up word I'm sure?) moment of the series!

  11. Every time I hear that someone has left TW I assume it's Dylan, because he is incredible actor and I'm just waiting for him to be poached.

  12. Funny that everyone is leaving for greener pastures, but it's really only Dylan's career that is taking off right now. I hope that part of the reason season 4 is only 12 episodes long, besides Jeff Davis needing a break, is that they are working around Dylan's schedule. I would hate to lose him. Really, really hate to lose him.

  13. Yay & thanks. I picked other so I could pick lots of scenes as my best. LOL Not just because you (rightly I am forced to admit) point out that there should be only one best scene. I can't pick a best scene this week but there were several that rated equally hi for me.

I loved the opening scene with Scott and Argent. The scene when Argent had to console Isaac. The Nogitsune's reaction to Stiles beating him in the snowy room. Melissa reading DoucheDad the riot act. (Happy that they stopped giving him 'nice guy' things to do. Leaving town and asking her to be the one to tell his son. Really?) The Sheriff and Perrish (am I remembering that right) fighting the Oni.

  15. Now there's a good workaround. There were so many great scenes in this episode. In fact, I keep wavering as to which is my favorite. I thought all the Argent scenes were masterful as well as every fight scene. I am really glad Parrish didn't die because I thought he'd be next.

  16. I loved that scene but I simply had to cut and I try to make sure all main characters are covered. In this one I had even more scenes than usual so I combined where I could and mercilessly cut where I could not. By the way, I was yelling at him to hug Isaac who looked so woebegone even I wanted to come into the screen and comfort him.

  17. I agree that it was awesome, very well-choreographed. The music is what really made it for me though.

  18. Honestly, I think when Dylan decides to leave it will be the swan song of the show. It's not just the actor but the character.

My theory as to why this season was so tight is because the spine of the story this season was character driven and the writers weren't afraid to push the characters as hard as possible. And since the bulk of the fans know the characters so well that we (well I) couldn't help but be completely invested in every twist and turn.

Add to that the fact that Stiles is really the piece of the puzzle that holds the show together. Scott is the hero and by definition they tend to be less 'grey.' The hero always makes the right choice. Scott isn't enough, by himself, to hold the show together.

  19. I agree. Stiles and Scott are the foundation of Teen Wolf much in the way that Dean and Sam are the foundation of Supernatural. Without them both, it would be hard to see the show continuing. I too was more invested in this season than any other. It was more personal. I've always believed that a hero is only as strong as the villain in a show and personal villains make for a much better story. Plus it again highlighted the Scott and Stiles bond, which is the best part of Teen Wolf.
