  1. The beginning of something new. I want to see where this new development with the supernatural community + the humans leads. And I know people are going to bring Rebekah leaving up again but it happened, it sucks but it happened. And I hope those viewers who gave up in the show after last week don't return because if they can't stay with a show through hard changes instead of waiting to see what's going to happen then its better if they just stay way.

  2. Davina looked remarkably beautiful in that dress. It surprised me that Shaggy, and yes that's what I'm calling him now, is the only one who approached her.

  3. It looks like both Klaus & Hayley have decided they would rather the baby grow up around the werewolves where she'll have some sort of family unit around her (aside from her parents). I guess it makes sense that since Esther created the daylight rings for her children & Mikael (after she turned them into vampires) that she'd create a moonlight ring to keep the man she was having an affair with from turning into a wolf.

For all the sex that happened (Klaus/Genevieve multiple times this episode and Marcel/Cami I'm surprised we didn't get any actual sex scenes - we got much more with Marcel/Cami though).

  4. This episode felt really fresh.

I really like how Joseph Morgan played it. A more reflective, subtle, melacholic Klaus is welcome and would improve this show by leaps and bounds. Though, I do think in the long run he's more Vampire than Werewolf and will return to pursuing his own power.

  5. Agreed on all counts. I like that he's taking a back seat.

  6. Oliver and Davina - a bit age inappropriate. just because he is short doesn't make him young.
    elijah was a bamf, finally.
    All factions had interesting interactions.
Diego poor thing, his family was killed by werewolves. though i am so not impressedby him killing two innocent cops and a girl.
Jackson looks cool while plotting. and i like the whole klaus taking him under his eing thing.
Cami - whyyyy did you have to sleep with marcel.
klenevieve was handled so not like i wanted it to. all about sex and no rimantic feelings. Pass.

  7. we agree on most points.
Oliver had this a la damon attitude about him that i really like. loled at him pretending to apologize to diego only to insult him immediately.
Aw Jackson standing up with a stake to protect his bestfriend was nice too.
I can totally see werewolves ruling the city with klaus' support. And finally klaus started trying to get a pack yo like him by not just making them into hybrids but by helping them giving instead of just taking.
he is showing so much character growth lately.

  8. It was pretty obvious that Klaus/Genevieve wasn't going to be a serious relationship - so it was exactly what I was expecting and I'm fine with it. I don't think Klaus really falls in love a whole lot (the way Rebekah does) so I found this to be in character for him and I think his heart is probably still with Caroline - it hasn't been that long.

  9. if they are going to portray him with a string of girls before finally putting him with cami i'd prefer him to be a lot more dark unapproachable sinister "i am doing you a favour by giving you even 5 minutes of my attention" kind of vampire. My canon klaus is the one we saw in the very first flashback with kat, he told Elijah they are not supposed to care and be weak. Klaus that paints all episode long and tries to explain himself to a witch is so lame. He slept with the witch that broke the curse for him too, but i remember her standing on her knees in front of him not the other way around.

  10. He's playing a long-con here and not in the mood to dominate anyone, coming off last weeks big blow-up. I don't frankly think he gives two shits about what Genevieve thinks.

So I suspect he'll have a few fuck-buddies on the slow-build to the inevitable Cami thing.

  11. I hope they never put him with Cami. I see no chemistry at all between them (I think he has more with Genevieve) so I'm fine with Cami being with Marcel (and I prefer that over her ever being with Klaus). If they want to go a friendship route with Klaus & Cami I'm good with that but I hope it never turns romantic.

I don't recall it ever being stated that he was having a romantic relationship with Greta Martin and I don't remember ever seeing anything of the sort - just that she was loyal to him for some unknown reason (as was Maddox) and was helping him break the curse (and her father & brother were under the delusion that Klaus had kidnapped and was holding her against her will).

  12. I am pretty sure Klaus and Cami are inevitable. They will be the couple that will have like 2-3 seasons of buildup. that's why i am mad she slept with marcel, because now we will get a love triangle with klaus fighting with his insignificant minion over a girl.
Greta and Klaus definitely had sex, it didnt have to be said out loud but it was heavily implied with sultry looks exchange and her blindly doing his bidding.

  13. i agree completely, the FWB thing won't end up well for genevieve. she has to die to let the 4th girl come back. and klaus will probably either kill her himself or lead her to a certain death. I was hoping they could be allies or friends but now klaus will once again prove he is a dick (not a thousand years old all powerful creature) and they will ruin genevieve who started off so well by making her all patheticly jealous of cami.

  15. Am I the only one who thinks that Francesca is TO's Sophie (2 Broke Girls)?

  16. It was good episode. Klaus is planning something and waiting. Finally more werewolves in action!!, only vampires and witches = boringggggggg. OMG Genevieve is psycho. Poor Kieran:((. I like
Francesca. I wonder what she's up to... Oliver and Davina row.....,

    Genevieve
Klaus is planning something and waiting.

  17. The shows feels chaotic. Since the start we have lost characters we thought would be around and we are picking up new ones. I already dislike Hayley from TVD so with Rebekah gone I don't have a female lead to really care about. I liked Cami more in this past episode but I am still not sold on her. I hope Davina gets back to her old self soon!

  18. i too like cami and marcel more than cami and klaus, only because i dont think klaus deserves cami. and i dont think it was ever mentioned that greta slept with klaus.

  19. she did look gorgeous in that dress! but was I the only one thinking how Shaggy was too old to be hitting on Davina? She's supposed to be what? 16? he's clearly a grown man

  20. Cami exists as a character to eventually be a love interest to Klaus. That's been pretty clear since the backdoor pilot. I don't really like her or them together, it just is what it is.

Klaus deserves to die. So does Marcel. So does pretty much every regular on the show. Even Hayley manipulated and contrived for 12 hybrids to die in her fourth or fifth episode of existing in this universe. I'm not so concerned with what they "deserve".

  21. I agree it was chaotic, they throw together characters with no development or reasoning, it just happens and it stopped being "surprising", "shocking" or even "omg" a while ago. Just because there's multiple hook-ups doesn't mean it's "more adult" or even sexy. I dislike Hayley to the point that I didn't like a single scene she was in, and the forming "triangles" just make me sick (I've had enough of them in TVD). For once I wish my fav character (Elijah) didn't get the girl. And the wolves were nothing but annoying. My dislike for this episode has nothing to do with Rebekah gone, though I do miss her. I didn't even like Elijah (he's the main reason I watch) - between his "love for Klaus" and "love for his brother's baby mama" he totally lost his own character.
It's not that I hate the show, I loved it! Two episodes back I was still quite enthusiastic - but this one was certainly the worst of the season for me. I only enjoyed Davina (with Josh). Sad, that I don't even mind the hiatus. :(

  22. Good enough episode. I like the show's storytelling as a whole. Some thoughts...

    LIKE:
    - The episode spent a good amount of time building up to the party, so at least we saw groundwork for the interspecies peace that was being sought. From the promo for this episode, I was worried that the party was somehow going to be the majority of the episode.
    - I'm glad that the show's various characters weren't being too ridiculous about things, and that the lead representative from each species (minus the werewolves) were willing to meet and try to come to a peaceful coexistence.
    - I enjoyed the Davina and Josh scenes.

    DISLIKE:
    - Hayley: I've liked Hayley less ever since she distanced herself from the Originals and got closer to the Crescent Moon pack, and Jackson. I know it makes more sense for her character to be more loyal to the werewolves, but in terms of story for this show, it makes Hayley less sympathetic a character to me, when here we were, trying to root for her and Elijah.
    - Cami: Unlike others, I'm actually okay with Cami. I felt her isolation, desperation, and vulnerability in this episode. Poor thing was being used again, and didn't even know it.
    - Marcel: I'm not even rooting for Marcel at this point. I find Marcel about as distasteful and annoying as I did in the beginning of this season. I think I only liked Marcel when he showed how he truly cares for, and loves, Davina; and for the last 1-2 episodes, he seemed to do the same for Rebekah.
    - Klaus: I wasn't even surprised that Klaus is, once again, undermining
Elijah's steps to ensure peace, with logic that is essentially going to
bring chaos and violence. I'm actually pretty tired of Klaus'
    manipulations and schemes already.

I found myself entertained enough by this episode. I think I'll try to finish the rest of this season, but I'm not sure there's enough to pull be back for next season.

  23. I didn't understand Oliver's insult. Can you tell me what he said? All iI heard was, "as ugly as him." I did like the scene with Jackson about to stake Diego for Oliver only b/c he was really quick with it. HHahahaha. I feel like Klaus will always be more vamp than wolf, but it is a nice breather to see him embrace his wolf side, pack and all.
