    Yes the show is coming back - all TV shows take various breaks (have to fit 22 eps into 52 weeks). BATB is suppose to return sometime in May but no date has been confirmed yet. They are now filming 218 about to do 219 :D The only thing we DON'T know is if it gets renewed for Season 3

    Comical, romantic, suspenseful - I could probably come up with more POSITIVE words but this episode has rendered me basically speechless and for the life of me I cannot stop re-watching it. The comical parts are still funny, the suspense is still suspenseful and the romantic moments are still breathtaking - even after watching it for the 8th time in it's entirety. I think I might just like this episode a little bit (I don't understate much) ;) :P LOL

    This was, without a doubt one of the best, if not the best episode to date, and I go way back with this show, it had everything from light weight to heavy weight, I think Beasties world wide are smiling, we saw the return of no nonsense Catherine, and oh Gag lost his hold in her, what can you say about JT & T, worlds can't describe Vincat just OMG!!!! And this long hiatus the things they do to our hearts!!!:(

    I think the comical parts didn't make sense regarding Vincent and Catherine. Vincent was trying to win Catherine back and it should have been taken seriously. But with all the comic relief, he didn't seem to be serious about it - like it was a game or something.
    Vincent is SO DIFFERENT from Season 1 Vincent! I don't like SEason 2 Vincent - he has this air about him...I guess it's cockiness and I loathe that. I find it a turn off.

    Not only did we get VinCat back, we got some JT Tess action as well. Anyone else notice that they keep adding scenes this season with Vincent eating? I'm not complaining, somehow he usually looks cuter doing so, just unusual.

    It was great to see Catherine not do what Gabe wanted and then for her to finally end things with him. Hopefully her and Vincent can move foward and not let what happened at the end scare them apart (none of that "things are too complicated" or "you're safer with out me stuff"). As for Gabe...

    Here my nightly complaint about Gabe, since he wants to see justice served for people killed when guys were "beasting" out, is he planning on turning himself in for the guy he murdered last year? Oh wait, he wasn't even in beast mode when he was setting Vincent up, he used that weapon to make it look like a beast attack. Please let bad things be coming his way.

    For me Season 2 was great and this episode was awesome. VinCat back together and poor Gabe gone home all alone:( I believe it was Gabe who turned Vincent in and very soon we will find out who Gabe is working for and what his part is in the bigger picture. Please don't get annoyed with me but I do think and feel that this is it for BATB and personally I am fine with it. We hear about a wedding and can't imagine that being anyone other than VinCat. The promo for 217 looks promising but yet again people annoyed that VinCat may be separated again. It never ends, people never happy with whatever the writers do, or the direction they take some will never be happy...too many back seat writers. Only complaint I had was dragging stories out, especially ones that made no sense. Gabe and Cat and their whole relationship made no sense from beginning to end and then dragging it out made it more difficult to believe. Pity they didn't come up with someone else other than Gabe but I think they had a reason for it to be Gabe. I think it all make more sense once final chapter of story of this beast mystery is revealed. Other than that I think the writers did a fine job but can not imagine where they could go with a new season.

    I was so glad VinCat were reunited even though it was short lived because of the arrest thing which I'm pretty sure Gabe is behind because of the way he told Cat "I wont let him hurt you" in the their last scene. Anyway, I never really trusted Gabe.

    exactly my thoughts when he started spewing his "you can't break the law to make the law"! funny how he didn't have a problem with that when it served his own interests or when he was a beast himself!


    if he really believes in the crap he's saying, he should definitely turn himself in, not only for killing the carriage driver, but for killing Ray at the masquerade ball as well! we all know it wasn't Evan who took care of that! and we all know why he did it! he didn't want anyone to get to Vincent before he could, or he wouldn't have been able to save his own skin!


    so, it's okay to think of only oneself no matter the means or the costs, but apparently only when Gabe says so? yeah, right! look how well it worked for him to always trying to belittle Vincent or make him look like a mere animal! in the end the beauty still choose her beast over Gabe's all awesomeness, and thank god she did, the guy is a selfish ass!!

    he's probably the one who even signed the warrant! idiot! if he's responsible, I really hope Cat gives him a piece of her mind! once more he's just showing what a selfish guy he is! he said he wouldn't let Vincent hurt Cat, but how will it make Cat feel to risk losing the man she loves, because of him, *once more*!! how is that not going to hurt her, and probably worse than anything Vincent could have done!


    wonder what he hoped to accomplish with such a move?? if he thinks Cat is going to run back to him once Vincent is out of the picture, he's even more stupid and out of his mind than I though!!


    hopefully though he'll get what is so coming to him!!

    from the new promo, I think that if Vincent leaves, Cat will follow close behind, no matter what he says this time! I don't see her giving up on him when she just got him back!


    on the other hand, maybe all will be resolved by the end of the episode... I seem to remember a pic posted for episode 18 or 19 maybe, where Cat and Vincent are on her roof again... don't think they would just casually meet there if Vincent was a wanted man :?

    I totally forgot about Ray. I knew he murdered more than one person, I just could remember who. The never did close that case with the carriage driver so I'm hoping that Cat or Tess is visiting his place, notices the weapon, and turns his ass in. I'd prefer that to him getting injected with the serum and re-beasting because you know that will try and bring him back if they get a third season.

    I think you're right in a way... he's certainly more confident about what and who he is now, than he was in Season 1! and he clearly knows what he wants and what he can or can't do to get it!

    This ep was awesome. It was romantic and so funny! And finally Vincat is together again. I also think Gabe is behind the arrest, never trusted him. For me it was the best ep of S2.

    he definitely deserves to rot in hell! I honestly think that Cat and the gang have given him enough chance as it is! I don't see him changing, he is and will remain a selfish idiot who only do things according to his own agenda and when they best serve his own interests!


    Can I also just say how much I admire Vincent for *not once* (unless I missed it of course) having had a bad word about the guy even when trying to win Cat back over, and that when Gabe did absolutely all he could to turn Cat away from Vincent! every chance he had he was saying something mean or depreciative about Vincent, yet Vincent never played the same game!! he definitely is the better man, no matter how beast Gabe thinks him to be!

    Unfortunately think you may be right. I think with this wedding coming up, could be JTess, though probably not and most likely VinCat and if so I am sure they will finish the series. I really don't know where they could go with the story anyway. One thing for sure is that they will give the fans what they have been asking for all along and make it a very happy and satisfying end:)

    The episode was hilarous . Great dialogues. The drama definitively made a move into a comedy. Maybe this should have been S2 direction

    - Best romantic moments happened in Season 1 . What a surprise ! S1 writers are ROTFL.
    - Vincent still has a jackass attitude and he likes it. Jay too.
    - Catherine: does she really know what and who she wants ? Let's hope Miss Chandler is coming back and will stick to same decision for more than one episode. Fingers crossed.
    - Bad Gabe is not coming back anytime soon. Most depressing character of the episode and the season. Poor Sendhil.
    - Tess & JT : scratching my head. Their relationship has been badly managed (as any S2 relationships ) Too bad because both characters deserved their own journey.
    - JT/Vincent : Bromance at his best . Breakfast time was fantastic.
    - Tess/Cat : missed them .More Tess, less Gabe, more Tess less Gabe . Rewind and repeat.
    - Sam : last appearance ? I like the actor but I won't miss him.
    - The Rooftop scene: Same place, same characters, same words , same everything BUT the magic was not there. Vincent & Catherine 2.0 are far away from VinCat. Don't get me wrong , anything is better than the crap they gave us all season long but their reunion felt so rushed and THE moment came out pretty "artificial". Too perfect to be true. Maybe I don't trust the characters , or their feelings, anymore .
    - Nevertheless Vincent aka Jay Ryan in a tux is always breathtaking

    Faaaaantastic episode. Did not want it to end at all. It had romance, humour, action, just superb. It was the perfect episode in my opinion. ..it had all the right ingredients that made me laugh, and jump with job. We even got JT+Tess moment which was a bonus. Loved loved loved loved it!!!! Well done to the fantastic cast & writers. This hiatus is going to be pure torture but they'll be back and our love for #BatB is strong enough to stand the test of time.

    I hope we get S3, the cast deserve this after all their work and of course for us fans who love the show passionately. No matter what happens, we are grateful for this faaaaantastic show!!!!! If shows were rated on quality, then this beautiful show would have been on top!!!

    I think Gabe is behind it too. I keep wondering if Gabe is working with Cat's father to keep them apart and they've been playing it nice so far but now its probably down to, keep them apart by any means possible. He's steadily became more unhinged as it became obvious Cat wasn't done with Vincent, and now he's upped it to having Vincent arrested. They both have the same goal, wanting Vincent out of Cats life. Or I could be wrong and he's a bitter, resentful, revengeful, self righteous ex-boyfriend who's pride just can't let it go! LOL Either way it should be interesting!

    And that is a true telling of someones character. I still had hoped that Cat would see that in Gabe, the attacking and as you said depreciating comments and called him out on that. I could see her starting to get annoyed with him at the end, but in the car when he was saying he's a beast, he's no good, I wanted her to say something so bad to defend Vincent. Vincent was definitely the bigger man and didn't stoop down the Gabe pathetic level.

    yeah, know what you mean... there is a lot of things I wished Cat had told Gabe! hopefully though, she will speak her mind and let him know what a scumbag he truly is once they discover it was actually him behind Vincent getting arrested, which I personally don't have any doubt about! how else would the police have known Vincent was involved otherwise? I don't think they advertised it and the only people who knew was the gang and Tori, who is dead, so that doesn't leave many possibilities, does it?

    I loved the episode - the best of season. It was amazing how Vincent to persist on relationship back with Cat and yet from consistent form. Cat finally come back to her essence and not disappoint about her end with Gabe.
    I don't understand the low ratings - I'm sad!

    Let's not also forget about Tyler, Gabe's girlfriend in S1, and the way he completely abandoned her in the last episode, in spite of everything she did to help him, since she was also a victim of Muirfield!!!! I cannot help but notice Gabe always staying safely behind, while pushing Vincent towards danger.....

    see what you mean... it seemed a little bit rushed, there wasn't really any explanation between them, just some looks and the I love yous, I kind of would have liked them to talk a little bit more, about their true feelings, what they had been through when they weren't together anymore, where they were going etc... it's like just their declaration of love suddenly solved everything and that was it :? I wouldn't have mind taking screen time from Gabe to see VinCat have a real conversation about them for once!!

    oh, yeah, Tyler! I'm sure half of what she was doing to find a cure *for Gabe* wasn't very legal anyway, but it was okay in his eyes since it served his purpose! just like attacking JT or breaking into Evan's apartment to get his files was okay! or giving the okay to use the facial recognition program to look for Vincent before he came back or every time he disappeared in the beginning of season 2 was fine, since it made him look good and like he was trying to help in front of Cat! trying to get Vincent killed wasn't wrong either! or covering for him and Tori no matter what they did... in fact *everything* is just fine and dandy as long as Perfect Gabe approves or does it himself! pfff, on top of being selfish he's also a hypocrite with a capital P!!


    let's just hope Cat really opens her eyes after that, and she doesn't go running to Gabe for help in saving Vincent! wouldn't be surprised if he acted like he was trying to help, only to make matters worse for Vincent in the end! would be the stupidest thing to do in fact, since again, who could have denounced Vincent if not for Gabe? who else knew about Vincent killing Tori's father or had/has an interest in seeing him out of the picture?? Agent Reynolds? but how would he even know, only hours after she broke up with Gabe, that Cat was back with Vincent? the timing of Vincent's arrest is just too perfect for Gabe not to be involved one way or another!

    Cat, Tess nor anyone know about what Gabe has done behind the scenes, that's why Cat gave him a chance. If she only knew about putting himself above the law to get what he wants, like killing the carriage driver and killing Ray, it would be a diff story. Nobody really knows what a hipocrite he is, because the stuff he has done hasnt come to the surface.

    which is beyond me honestly... they were looking for someone who was imitating beasts' killings to frame Vincent or make him show himself, then they find out Gabe *is* a beast, who is looking for Vincent then tries to kill him, and no one makes the connection? some cops there are then! but I guess that's one more thing which wasn't really explained or logical in the show , and probably won't ever be :(

    I just want to add that JR is a fantastic actor. On screen, he is an electrifying powerhouse, and in this episode, the way he looked at Catherine after they managed to save Sam, and have him arrested, is pure magic.

    so true! he and KK are the reasons I'm so addicted to this show and will follow till the end, even when I complain because I don't like where some storylines are going/went! lol their chemistry is out of this world and they are truly good actors who really bring the magic to this show... not sure it would have been the same with anyone else! (and just want to give special mention to JR's amazing eyes and eyelids and the way he uses them lol... and those freckles on his shoulders... they deserve a shout out too LMAO)
