Eloise Mumford is set to co-star in ABC’s medical drama pilot Warriors, from writer Chris Keyser, Mandeville TV and ABC Studios. The casting stems from the talent holding deal ABC signed with Mumford last summer after casting her in two consecutive drama pilots, River, which went to series, and last year’s Reckless. Inspired by the Walter Reed Military Medical Center, Warriors follow the best and brightest active duty military doctors and nurses as they practice trailblazing medicine. Mumford plays Stacey, a surgical resident who is sometimes overwhelmed by the sadness and emotional toll of her job.“Eloise is really special,” said Keyser, who previously worked with the actress on the Fox series Lone Star. “She is perfect for this role and our first choice.”
