For me seeing Slade in the current timeline was the best surprise ever by Arrow. Malcolm being alive comes a close second.

Biggest revelation has gotta be that Malcolm is alive and that Thea is his daughter.

I don't know much about the characters outside of what I'm experiencing on Arrow, so when Sara was revealed as Black Canary I was quite shocked to know she was alive.
ReplyDeleteOther - Tommy finding out Oliver's secret and how he responded. The second is Slade alive and well and scheming with Blood.
ReplyDeleteFrom the list, that Sara Lance is alive - my first reaction was this is lame, but it started to make sense for me connecting her to the leauge and Ivo. Actually most revelations have not been such huge big surprises for me. Although I was guessing Shado would be the cause for Slades and Olivers enmity, she actually beeing dead and as it seems she is going to stay dead (grave and all) was the biggest surprise for me so far. But the way the writers are telling the story keeps me on my toes!
ReplyDeleteHands down Slade! What an entry by Manu! I preach Slade! He is one of the best villians on the show. Waiting for more present day tight suits,eye patch and deathstroke Slade wilson on the show!

ReplyDeleteI voted Malcolm is Thea's Father, cuz i seriously didn't see that coming. I was shocked by that info. Next for me would have been Slade is in control of Blood's work and is Deathstroke. 3rd Sara is alive And the BC.

ReplyDeleteI don't know that any of those was really *surprising*, because stuff like Slade being the current Big Bad, Malcolm being the Dark Archer in S1 or Malcolm still being alive in the end of S2 and such was telegraphed from a mile away. So my choice comes down to either Sebastian being the Man in the Skull Mask (somehow, that one did surprise me - I thought he was just someone who viewed Oliver as a rich asshole, and for good reason), or Sara being alive and the Canary. I picked the latter because while I was unfortunately spoiled for it (I do think I would've probably been surprised by it if I hadn't been), it was so awesome and introduced a great storyline to the show. Sara is one of my favorite characters and perhaps the main reason Season 2 has been so great, in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteMoira's nefarious contact is Tommy's father is what I picked. With regard to the Slade in present day reveal wasn't that huge a shocker for me....it was that he was trying to destroy Oliver.
