  1. Great episode. They revealed so much in this season premiere. Thats the way to set up the rest of the season. PLL should take a cue.

  2. I liked the pace and the reveals - wow! But still an inordinate amount of focus on Jo - have they not learned??

  3. Having just rewatched Twisted on Netflix a day or two ago I have to say I don't understand everyone with this complaint, as Jo was no more the central character in the finale than she was in the pilot.

  4. Great ep., with a lot of intrigue and some ideas I had from the start that Danny took the blame for Aunt Tera's death because his dead killed her. On the funny tip, I was glad to see that Jo got rid of the fugly mustard colored sweater.

  5. +1 for the sweater comment. It's funny because it's true.

  6. I agree. You would think that Jo was the central character then Danny. It's hard to believe Lacey is a lead, when her screen time and treatment says otherwise.

  7. Pika pi...IF someone was after the Father, and now he is dead, do
that someone have a reason to keep looking for whatever now. or will
they now go after Danny or someone else on the show, and if that happens
then basically Danny's father wasn't really the main target for who
ever he was hiding from, otherwise they wouldn't have killed him.

I thought I knew the secret, but now I don't know it, so basically
what is it really, and whatever it is it better be grand. Which kinda is
hard in a drama, vs in some other genre.

  8. That was a great episode. I think that the writers revealed more in one episode than in the past 11 episodes combined! I also suspected that Danny hadn't killed his aunt, especially since they kept dropping hints about inconsistencies in the findings at the murder scene. But Vikram making his son cover for him was pretty low. I wonder what he meant when he told Danny "This is all your fault". It makes me think that there's still a lot more to the story. Both Kylie and Maddie mentioned in interviews that there would be a lot of reveals in the the first two episodes and then in subsequent episodes, there will be a number of very surprising twists that will raise many more questions. Also, the fact that the writers focussed more on the mystery than the love triangle is promising. a good sign and hopefully means that they listened to the criticisms.

  9. Unfortunately, if they continue to give this much screen time to Jo's family compared to Danny's and Lacey's family, the show will always have a Jo-centric vibe. However, I think the writers did a much better job giving Lacey screentime, compared to other episodes. To me, it suggests that her popularity with viewers was heeded by the writers. She had substantial scenes with Jo, the Sheriff, Danny, Rico and the random new guy. In prior episodes, most of her scenes revolved around Jo, or her relationship with Danny. so I'm hoping this episode represents a new trend. They do need to stop putting up those annoying #PoorJo hashtags, though. Rico, is another character that I really like, so I was happy to see more of him. His scenes with Danny and Lacey made me smile and it was funny to see Lacey pulling a "Rico" when she tried to pretend that she hadn't seen him, in front of Jo.
