  1. Well that was different. An episode which tied up most of the loose ends. Go figure.

  2. Alright, so all my joy for Lauren having done something for herself for a change, choices that eschew freedom et all, has been for naught. She did it for Bo, who seems increasingly at a distinct disadvantage in the brains department. The acting in the Rainer-Bo-Solider Girl arc was somewhat trite & the eulogy was weird. I miss KHR (& again nothing between Dyson and Tamsin after whatever the last episode was), but Solo was amazing as ever; she does wonders with the little they give her.
Massimo is the most annoying evil guy ever. The writing needs to pick up a little, it is sloppy this season, really, really sloppy.

  3. Anybody else think Kenzi is the hero the hellskor have been waiting for and she will be the one to wear them not Bo that's why she's not in the prophecy legend

  4. John, I agree. The entire season lacks that crisp sort of tightness that makes for good story telling. I find that it gives the impression of making it up as they go on. That's terrible for a show, I think. But, they do have some solid acting sometimes and they get a lot right. It's just this season; it has left a terrible taste in my mouth. They are also stretching the plausibility of Bo's affections at this point...I mean, I'm unwilling to believe that she's in love with anyone, except Kenzi (platonic, of course). I liked Bo's character because she could be naive one minute and a complete vixen the next, and Silk is one of those actors who seems to be able to flip the switch between innocent and sexy with unimaginable finesse. But, they have taken to writing Bo in a manner that makes her look deluded instead of that endearing naivety I so likes. The writers are not doing the characters and the viewers justice. I feel short-changed. But, I still think it's worth watching.

  5. OK boys and girls let's go over this one more time. Fae don't sweat, itch, or have a heartbeat and apparently female fae don't have "periods!" I'll let someone else ask how they reproduce...........let alone have children with/by humans. The writing for this show has got to be provided by unpaid interns and the execution is carried out by someone who does give a $#!T. That's the only explanation I can come up with as to how this show has moved so far from the success of season 1. 4 THE VERY LAST PALMERIST, I...........oh whatever you guys know the rest!

  6. What, the fae, was that?!??

The writers must've been on something when they wrote this season. :/

  7. Why isn't Masimo dead yet Dysen? Something he whispered to you? Ok then what was the result of that whisper was it to wait till next episode to reveal it? Ain't no body care if he is the The Morrigan,s son, which I guess after Vex's sorta betrayal; now that she is human even less reason to care about that evil ass dumb ass son.
And wtf was Lauren turning the morrigan human about... You can just do that... How about u use that fringe science to good use and turn ur self in to a Fae if you want to be in the community so much. But more than that why turn her to human... Give me a real point. Because she wanted to kill Bo? Girl she wanted to do that since day one.

Kenzi was awesome btw and she need justice. Someone avenge her already.

And Bo... Wtf is wrong with you this season really... No more giving her a slack because she is a succabus so she can do who she wants when she wants since it's her nature. Either she is seriously being controlled by her father or someone or she has turned super weak in character...

Again my man Dyson isn't lava boy dead yet.…

  8. Epona - is Link going to save everybody!?!?!?

  9. Even with the writers trying to give answers, I'm still so confused. lol
And Bo is becoming my least favourite character. So clueless. So dumb.
Levony was hot, but I don't understand the point of turning the Morrigan human. The best thing they can do, give the Morrigan more funny moments. This reminds me of Q in Star Trek loosing his powers. It was hilarious. But give the Morrigan her powers back, next season.
So I'm going to continue to be shocked, how the writers can assassinate their lead character like that.

  10. it would be great. I hope u r right.

  11. Yeah I was thinking bout that too. She was the best thing this episode. IMO the general plot and writinghas improved much this season, for me this was one of the weaker episodes this season. I like Rainer, but it would have been nice to get to know him a little more.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Well this episode was mewh. Lauren plotting and Kenzi's tragedy were the best parts.
Really sad what they did with Dyson this episode, just giving him something to do.
I believe that Rainer truely loves Bo and I like him very much, but could they have given us a few more scenes with him generally - it is very difficult to root for him if he is a complete stranger!
Massimo with the origin seed was my second guess - I was hoping for Aife.

  13. I believe that Lauren has an agenda. Lauren was afraid that Evony was about to kill succubus (scene in the library). So she chooses the weapon masterd to stop Evony - science. But how they write Evonys humanity - very silly and just another opener for bad writing.

  14. IMO the plot writing has improved very much this season. It's still flawed but much better. Tafts storyline was hinted at - what two or three times? - through out the season and suddenly he is the big bad in the last two episodes. Ok mayb as a contrast to the Garuda storyline. What really has been awful since S2 is the world building - that is what they make up when they go and makes a lot of wholes. What makes it especially awful they adjust the world building to their plot - that makes it really difficult to have any credebilty.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Whilst I disagree with you about this season being better, I do agree that world building should be organic and blend with the plot and lend to it, rather than take away from it. My issue this season is that every detail was revealed very haphazardly and then they gave us 4.12 and perhaps 4.10 (the one where the UMs are slaughtered) as two cure all episodes. See, the onus of meaning making then lies on just these two episodes. In any case, the season is dis-satisfactory also because all the characters seemed to intermittently come together on an adhoc basis and express their loyalties and love for one another, but at the end of the day this season is about all of them drifting apart. They seem to be falling apart w/o Bo, but funnily enough, she's always the epicentre of chaos; I think they need a longer season, it feels like they tried to say too much in too little time and things, details just fell through the cracks.

  16. Also, in very poor taste! Could she not find another way to administer the serum?

    ReplyDelete
  17. I know right. I was like: oh no she didn't just say that. o.O
I wonder how they are going to salvage this trainwreck of a season with only one episode left. >.<

  18. Who writes this crap ?? I would give a lower note, but the is no option below awful!!!! Lost Girl hits a low every week. The best thing about the episode way the add for Continuum at the end. (Season premiere March 16th).

It's so painfull watching the show you once loved and characters you cared for, being compltely destroyed by crappy writing :/

  19. This entire season is a cluster f***. It just doesn't make sense. I'm finding it very difficult to follow the story...

    ReplyDelete
  20. I wager, they will definitely be using more anatomy as utensils...who needs a cup when you've got a human skull?! 'm I right?! Well, I hope I'm not. I've expressed quite a bit of disappointment with regards to the writing this season. The last episode needs to be really, really good in a game changing sort of way and one that somehow sates the viewers. So far all we've been doing is shouting "why?!" and such like at the screen. Something needs to put them all back together in terms of the old or a new, more stable status-quo. Also, Bo's Paa's a flaming horse? I know it's a symbolic thing, but I keep thinking it'll be someone who looks horsey and I can't stop laughing at the thought.

  21. I was able to follow this episode I'm thinking daddy is controlling Rainer and Bo through the hand print and we got answers all in all Good episode

  22. There is a coming big bad and he is Bo's father.

  23. what? no supercharged Bo and the Garuda? shame on you

  24. Evony didn't sweat and had no heartbeat, that doesn't mean that every Fae miss these things. There are a lot of different fae races. After all, Evony was the Morrigan so I guess she had some special gains.

  25. what about when dyson fought his mortal enemy fea in season 3 finale and killed it by cracking its neck and was covered in its guts and had its voice box in his hand end of season 3 when he was in fea death camp or bo vs tamsin end of season 3

  29. Kenzi to Bo - "One with eyes.....both brown and blue (Bo), one who shifts (Dyson).........a Valkyrie too (Tam - Tam), one with blood that rules the world (Trick), one who sings (Hale), a warrior to be her guide (?), a healer always by her side (Lauren)......! The first time I heard this I missed the part about the "one who shifts" and assumed that "a warrior to be her guide" was Dyson. The shifter part was well hidden within the rhyme.......easy to miss if you aren't listening for it. Prediction time fellow posters!
    1) Kenzi is the warrior to be Bo's guide.
    2) The "Magic Slippers" (S4E7) are not for Bo, but for Kenzi. If there is any dancing envolved with the "Magic Slippers" Ksenia Solo is the professional trained dancer among the cast. Candidate for "Dances with the Stars" anyone?

Also did you catch when "Sister Epona" called Bo the daughter how Rayner responded "..........daughter!" 4 THE VERY LAST PALMERIST, I am Nobody!!!

  32. Tamsin: "this is a warrior's soul I must take it"
Una Mens: "capture the succubus and the warrior"
Lauren: "the warrior shall escape his curse"
Lauren: "between the warrior and the queen one of the two will die"
Rosette "she will rise with the wanderer as her soldier"

  36. I am going to post this in here as I didn't the, "Heroes and Heartbreakers blog. This is to anyone who might think Kenzi will die and is this warrior. Did you forget this line Kenzi spoke when reading that prophetic book, "The professor and Mary-Ann! (funny shit) Everyone's in here except the weak human." Notice Bo didn't refute what she said. She interjected, "Kenzi, you are a part of all of us. Which conotes, NO! warrior but human only just as Kenzi stated and no one can definitive say that the part where Kenzi read stating, "a healer always by her side," is Lauren, either. (just saying)

    ReplyDelete
  37. There is a lot of ambiguity concerning this warrior because at times they name Rainer but then Rainer is also referred to as the Wanderer. One minute they lead us to believe that her father and Rainer are one and the same person and the next it switches. Here's the problem with the writing this season. It's all over the place and extremely obscure. It makes more sense to believe that someone other than Kenzi is the warrior seeing that Kenzi is human and has no affiliation with the FAE world. Neither her nor Lauren has any part in Bo's destiny.
