  1. Great episode!

LOL at Kennex telling everyone false stories as to why Paul wasn't on duty.

Also, I wonder why someone planted those human memories into Dorian and why. That was interesting.

  2. Awful, this is probably the episode I felt was the most effected by the episode swapping, I found Dorian's memories hard to care about

  3. But this was always intended to be episode 11 so I don't get what you are saying exactly??

  4. Yes but since all the other episodes were out of order, this was effected the worst... Or at least that might be what I'm telling myself, this episode could've just not been to my liking regardless of the problems behind the scenes. It did feel that it didn't match up to what led to it, though.

  5. despite the odd ordering of the eps, I really enjoyed this ep as we got to see the seeds of some background mythology for Dorian with the mystery memories.... I wonder if it will tie into the synthetic souls that the John Larroquette's creator character made - thus tying Dorian into a bigger picture mystery.... thought that the cotw was pretty interesting as well

  6. I don't see how it could have affected it since this was mostly a stand alone episode and the show has now aired all its early episodes.

The only time I feel something is off is when an episode that was supposed to air early on airs later (like last week's episode) because of character development.

  7. Why didn't you care about the memories? Someone planted them there. You're not the least bit curious?

  8. any1 else feeling Deja Vu? As in a Firefly kind of way? hasnt fox learned their lesson about screwing with the episode order of shows?

  9. Memory sensory is the KEY to identity. It's our memories that help us define who we are by both how remember how we FEEL in those moments and KNOWING that we had those moments. So when there are "false" memories, it adds a rather disturbing element to the series, because we see that what people remember, --what people take as truth, isn't always the actual truth of reality, and that makes people dangerous and/or puts people in unnecessary odds. For a viewer it creates suspense (because we don't know who's memory we can ever fully trust) and it emotionally engages us, because imagine if things you remember and feel deeply about didn't actually happen? If a certain event in life changed you, but it never actually happened? It would be scary and heartbreaking.

It's continuously and relentlessly exploring memory sensory and identity that I love most about Bad Robot.

  10. I never interpreted them as new problems just laying the groundwork for the bigger story lines that will take some time to develop. I thought that was what most shows did?

  11. You mean John's ex-girlfriend Anna?

She was the first thought I had for some reason. I think it is more likely to be the DRN creator. If he is involved with Insydicate too, it could be both.

  12. I didn't have the Fox channel at the time Firefly aired but I have heard people talk about it.

  13. Don't forget when Dorian said to Kennex if he shaved while he was asleep would that make him happy lol

  14. Synturion on Almost Human and Centurion on Doctor Who coincides i think not lol

  15. I think that this synthetic soul thing is somehow made by Dr Vaughn with real "souls" (meaning remembrances) from human beings (maybe dead people ? they gave their memories like an organ donor maybe ?) and that's the flashes Dorian gets... That's my theory, let's find out what it is nearly ^^

  16. Well Crispian is a Roman St's name, but ya, I'm pretty sure this episode was a big should out to Battlestar Galactica and Caprica!

  17. Yes exactly. When i first heard about this i thought that it is logical since the Matryoshka microphone.

And as for the creator well i gave him as a choice i gave it because he was more of a well thinking of his robots like his children. And maybe he had a son and made a secret memory about him in his robots so he can live through them.
