THIS IS GOING TO BE AWESOME!!
ReplyDelete(and yes, caps lock, totally worth it!)
COMPLETELY JUSTIFIED!
ReplyDeleteKara, Control, Special Counsel and Greer, along with insight into the pre-Reese era? This is what allows me to cope with two filler episodes (Provenance, Last Call).
ReplyDeleteHYPE INCREASING... 99%... 100%
ReplyDeleteThis is gonna be fucking awesome! I can't wait! I think Finch has been hiding lots of secrets... We'll see.
How could I have not noticed Kara in the list??
ReplyDeleteThis will be even more awesome than I thought.
YEAH(Exclamation point)
ReplyDeleteWow!! The synopsis alone is enough to get me wildly excited. Cant wait for this episode.
ReplyDeleteWill we get to see if Root was right about the 'helper monkeys'? If so, then it would be an awesome and dark reveal.
Control, Decima, Special Counsel and Kara - these are names enough to guarantee a cracking episode.
Obviously there's going to be a lot of flashbacks with this one!
ReplyDeleteWill be the best episode *----------------*
ReplyDeleteSo this is the all flashback episode?! Why do I feel that Nathan'll be here too?
ReplyDeleteJoseph Mazzello: He played the young preacher on Justified last season, killed by Boyd Crowder's snake.
ReplyDeleteKARA. STANTON. YEEEEEEEEEEES!!!
ReplyDeleteHow can you be sure Last Call's a filler. The episode may have some vital elements not shown in the press release or promos.
ReplyDeleteI agree.
ReplyDeleteIN THIS CASE NOT USING CAPS LOCK DESERVES PUNISHMENT!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is how dreams come true!
ReplyDeleteA little late to the party but, AWESOME PRESS RELEASE! (can't wait to see the 'Reeses' that didn't cut it and I'm intrigued to see how Stanton fits into this!)
ReplyDeleteYou can tell when something is filler and when it's not. Last Call will be.
ReplyDeleteI don't think "didn't cut it" is the right thing to say. Perhaps the Reeses that died, assuming I'm understanding what Root said correctly.
ReplyDeleteAwesome
ReplyDeleteIf they died, which is pretty much what Root suggesting, because other wise you wouldn't need "replacements", means that they were not cut out for the job one way or another. They physically could NOT survive it.
ReplyDeleteAdditionally I'm assuming they may have been up against Control the whole time, since she stated that Finch stole her program (and thus there might have been a war between them for a long time that included killing off Finch's other partners/assets)
You say that but Reese is physically cut out for it but he almost died in Nothing to Hide. But I do get your point.
ReplyDeleteHmm. That's an interesting theory. I've thought it was just that Ingram sold the Machine to the government, Control thought it was hers, and since Finch has now got the backdoor into it and forced it to move itself (remember it was his code on the Decima laptop that made it move itself) she blames him for taking the Machine (which makes no sense considering she still has access and still gets the relevant numbers).
I'm not saying that the job isn't dangerous, but more over that Reese is either lukier (fate) and/or has a better skill set for the job, or a third option is that machine malfunctioned (or was hacked into) and mislead the others, but still our story seems to want to highlight Reese's survival over theirs.
ReplyDeleteI definitely think there is something missing between Finch, Greer, and Control, but we know now that people have been after Finch from a pretty young age and I kind of suspect there might be something criminal in his pursuits.
He has to be hiding a lot of secrets.
ReplyDeleteLast Call actually looks really good and I think they're might be something else in the episode.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I know what you mean.
ReplyDeleteMy main worry is that we'll only get to see some of the story here, and not all of it. I am of the notion that thinks if they're gonna explore this kind of backstory, tell us all of it now. But there is definitely something there.
I'm with you. I think, even if there is a story of the week going on, the fact that we have Control and Carla Stanton (and knowing Root was in China) warrants some bigger story progression and/or missing piece of past we need building to more game changing. At the least I think we will get important set-ups.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you're right, but I'm happy just to open that can of worms a bit. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a good call. I would love to see Corwin again too!
ReplyDeleteWe thought Nothing to Hide was gonna be a filler too, and look what happened.
ReplyDeleteTrue. But I think because of the 6 episodes we got before Provenance, and the next few after this one sound like they'll be very connected just from the episode titles, I think Last Call will be another breather. Can't expect the writers to have 23 episodes a season where each one could compete for episode of the millenium ;)
ReplyDeleteYou're right. My guess: Last Call's fairly standalone until the closing moments which may up the events for RAM.
