ReplyDeleteNameberry tells me it's the Greek version of Selena. If it really does mean green, LOL.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, it's the female gender of 'green' in Bulgarian. Other Slavic languages have similar words with the same meaning.

ReplyDeleteMakes sense, especially since they've already confirmed Young Cora will be back, but, PLEASE, NO MORE RELATIVES ON THIS SHOW! Can't people simply be acquaintances? Or friends? Or frenemies? Or whatever? It's such an overused card, it's borderline annoying.

Zelena and Regina have a rhyming sequence....twins Cora had...and since we all know Cora names her daughters after what she sees for them, then perhaps Zelena was born green while Regina was born to be queen....Cora's mind: If I've got the one destined to be queen, why bother with another...not to mention if she's green. That would explain Zelena: I'm going to take everything away from you, because she feels that Regina was the favorite daughter of their mother, who got everything she ever wanted, while Zelena was abandoned to fend for herself...and we all know Rumple crossed paths with Zelena at some point in her life, he has a history with messing with a Mills Woman Life.>.
