ABC sudser has cast Episodes’ Joseph May in the recurring role of Mickey, the “fabulous” gay pal and business associate of Rochelle Aytes’ level-headed single mom.
Mickey, according to a show source, has been friends with April since childhood and provided the bankroll when she opened Maison Per La Mer. “He has a genuine love for April in his candy-coated heart” — a love that won’t let him watch her forget her dream of selling her own artistic wares. As a result, he “demands that April attend a pop-up art show downtown.”
