A fifth season of the Showcase original series, Lost Girl has been greenlit for 13 episodes. The series starring Anna Silk begins production on season five this spring and is set to air Fall 2014.
Throughout the fourth season Bo was plagued by memory loss that left her with more questions than answers, especially upon learning of her inexplicable decision to officially join the Dark Fae. The season’s emotional journey exposed Bo and her friends to new loves, heartbreaking losses and shocking betrayals, all leading to the season finale that saw her battle a darkness within herself.
Also returning to the cast are series stars Kris Holden-Ried (The Tudors, Underworld: Awakening) as Light Fae shape-shifter Dyson, Zoie Palmer (The Guard, Instant Star) as human doctor Lauren, Rick Howland (Billable Hours, Murdoch Mysteries) as Bo’s ancient and secretive grandfather Trick and Rachel Skarsten (The Vow, Flashpoint) as Valkyrie warrior Tamsin. Returning guest stars include Paul Amos (Sex After Kids, Murdoch Mysteries) and Emmanuelle Vaugier (Two and a Half Men, Covert Affairs).

Yeah so glad it got renewed love this show.
ReplyDeleteFeels wierd not seeing ksenia in the press release
ReplyDeleteI'm glad, but I really miss Ksenias name. I hope this is just a distraction.
ReplyDeleteWOOOOHOOOO I NEED ANOTHER SEASON OF THIS SHOW
ReplyDeleteNo Ksenia = smokescreen hopefully.
ReplyDeleteno Ksenia? if she leaves i wont watch it anymore. I only started watching the show bc of her. And I was definetely thinking about not watching it anymore anyway. But i think they just didnt say anything about her bc maybe she didnt sign the contract yet and they cant say things that are not official.
ReplyDeletepretty obvious Ksenia will be back. They do understand there is no show without her right?
ReplyDeleteI hope so. Otherwise we'll read some day an upshot like "Our biggest mistake was to kill off Kenzi. The show died with her."
ReplyDeleteWhy isn't Kenzi in the cast? Maybe she'll just be a 'guest star' next season.
ReplyDeleteYes! I am so happy.
ReplyDeleteBut Ksenia better be in season five!
Wait. Where's Ksenia Solo/Kenzi? I love her *-*
ReplyDeleteThe way that Lost Girl ended season 4 was very deliberate (at least it seemed that way to me). Everything at the end of the finale seemed to set up:
ReplyDeleteLost Girl season 5: The Search for Spock Kenzi
They would be stupid to reveal Ksenia. I'm sure she will be back. If they are smart, they will tease us with the question if Kenzi will be back for like 5 episodes. xD
ReplyDeleteHere's an interesting read... Notice everyone's character from Bo to Vex's is mentioned as a diffident return but no Kensi aka Ksenia Solo, hmmmm... In any event, read it for yourself..

Awesome! :) I'd say the writers have some explaining + redeeming to do after the mess that was s4, but I'm optimistic. Too bad the new season is months away!
ReplyDeleteSo happy, if only to see Ksenia Solo and Kris Holden-Ried.
ReplyDeleteI am glad this great show got renewed. Not having Kenzi by Bo's side will be hard to accept.
ReplyDeleteThey better bring back Ksenia somewhere along, or else we riot!
ReplyDeleteI just hope that 5th season will be the last.
ReplyDeleteSo EA just posted/tweeted the first 3 writers for S5's first 3 episodes, huh... 501-Like Hell p1 written by Michael Grassi, 502-Like Hell p2 written by Emily Andras and 503-Oroka Mojo written by Alexandra Zarowny, very interesting.... Looks like they have known about the renewal of S5 a long time ago...hahaha
