NEW EVENT MINISERIES ‘HEROES REBORN’ COMES TO NBC IN 2015
Tim Kring to Executive Produce 13 New Episodes of Groundbreaking Series ‘Heroes’
UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. — Feb. 22, 2014 — NBC is bringing back its conquering “Heroes.”
An iconic series that still commands a rabid fan base, “Heroes” will return to the network in 2015 as an event miniseries with original creator and executive producer Tim Kring at the helm, it was announced today by NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke.
NBC has ordered 13 episodes for a new stand-alone story arc entitled “Heroes Reborn,” with all details of storylines and characters being kept under wraps.
“The enormous impact ‘Heroes’ had on the television landscape when it first launched in 2006 was eye-opening,” said NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke. “Shows with that kind of resonance don’t come around often and we thought it was time for another installment. We’re thrilled that visionary creator Tim Kring was as excited about jumping back into this show as we were and we look forward to all the new textures and layers Tim plans to add to his original concept. Until we get closer to air in 2015, the show will be appropriately shrouded in secrecy, but we won’t rule out the possibility of some of the show’s original cast members popping back in.”
The original series chronicled the life-changing stories of a series of unrelated ordinary people who discovered they had superhuman abilities. As the saga unfolded, they learned they were part of a grand plan that brought them together to change the world.
With the return of “Heroes Reborn,” NBC will launch a digital series prior to the 2015 premiere that will introduce the characters and new storylines. This leveraging of social media is a way for fans to re-engage with what was one for the true pioneers in multiplatform storytelling.

The iconic sci-fi series, which ran on NBC from 2006-10 and was an immediate hit, ranked as television’s #1 new drama with an average audience of 14.5 million viewers during its initial season. The show was Golden Globe-nominated in its first year of eligibility for best drama series; it won the BAFTA Award for best international series, the AFI Award, the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films Saturn Award, two People’s Choice Awards and the Television Critics Association Award for Program of the Year.
“Heroes” remains one of the best-selling TV series on DVD of all time with more than 10 million units sold.

Nooo... No way! Interesting this is going through... I wonder if any of the original cast is coming back and if this means I'll actually have to catch up with the last two seasons of the show...
ReplyDeleteCool, 2015 that's gonna be a while, but still cool, hopefully it's better :)
ReplyDeleteAs long as the people responsible for season 4 are kept as far away from scripting duties as possible, I see no problems.
ReplyDeleteOh god no. The show had it's time, was ruined by horrid writing after season 2. Just so much no. This is like trying to do "Lost Reborn". Certain shows had their run, just leave it at that. Good lord how desperate is NBC? First an ordered straight to series, aka Shades of Blue, or 'MJF show disaster 2.0', and now this. There are just some shows you cannot recreate. They were relevant in their time, but no longer. Calling it now, another DOA show. Come on NBC, you can do better than this.
ReplyDeleteCompletely agree, and they also need to stay on track, don't loose the plot
ReplyDeleteBack in the day, thsi was my favorite tv show i was just a kid and superheroes were my thing with my brother.. i just hope this can work.. and pleasee dont let the people from the alst season on heroes go near this pleaseee
ReplyDeleteIf there was ever a show that did NOT deserve to be "reborn" it's Heroes. That ship went down in the flames of mediocrity when the writing just became unbelievably ridiculous...I still don't know how it even had a 4th season (Carnivale sans the mystery and HBO shine) ... Now this?
ReplyDeleteI guess if anyone was still a fan when it was cancelled now has something to look forward to.
Prepare for disappointment. Tim Kring (creator) is back as showrunner. He was the head writer of season of season 4, and presumably (since he is mainly a writer) will be the same on this. So draw your own conclusions.
ReplyDeleteAs bad as season 4 was, and season 4 was bad, that's as bad as it gets. There's nowhere to go but up.
ReplyDeleteThat's a fantastic way to look at it. I'm still not holding my breath, personally. Like I said, any fans who missed their Heroes fix should be happy with this news. :)
ReplyDeleteI'll give it a chance. Just because the original failed doesn't mean this one will.
ReplyDeleteI hope its like Season 1 of Heroes which is by far the best season, since Season 2-4 really took a nosedive in quality. Hopefully they'll realize this and try to recapture the brilliance of Season 1.
ReplyDeleteAwful idea... Wasn't the last couple of seasons enough torture?
ReplyDeleteKeep in mind he was the creator, head-writer and show runner of season 1. Perhaps he is like Ryan Murphy -- he can come up with amazing concepts, give them the right push, but then should just move on to the next one.
ReplyDeletehe was also head writer and show runner of season 2, where the quality started to go. Does not bode well in my opinion. Come to think, he was show runner the entire 4 seasons... unless I remember wrong. Got a link or anything to the contrary? Genuinely curious now.
ReplyDeleteQuite possibly the most random TV news of the century.
ReplyDeleteHappy for the fans but I have a slew of shows I'd put before this.. but hey if the cast and writers are willing then maybe it will be good thing.
A one trick pony, so to speak.
ReplyDeleteI just really hope it doesn't take. Otherwise other networks may try this crap 'New from ABC it's Lost flash side-ways upside down in reverse with a twist of lime, Event mini-series." Can the pilot season writing realy be this bad that this is what networks have to resort to now?
ReplyDeleteIF and only IF Bryan Fuller comes back on as a consulting producer I'll keep my hopes up. I am a firm believer he had a huge impact over why S1 was so good. Otherwise it is a very big coincidence the show turned a bad corner when he left, picked up a bit when he came back and then really hit dirt!
ReplyDeleteSo until such news surfaces I think I'll be curious about this but remain skeptical about how good it will be.
Tim Kring must have really killed it in that pitch session... either that or he's blackmailing the network with.... something.... I see no other explanation...
ReplyDeleteThis man speaks the truth. That was the name I was trying to remember (without google, cause damn I like to use my brain occasionally :-). Genius writer. Dead Like Me, Pushing Daisies, Hannibal. Now THAT'S a track record of quality to be proud of.
ReplyDeleteThe network is fucking desperate.
ReplyDeleteTim Kring must give fabulous... fill in the blank yourself...
ReplyDeleteWoman, but thanks! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou're right… that's also a possibility.
ReplyDeleteHigh on the list I'd say. After "Touch" I didn't think any Network would 'Touch' him for a while (at least without being paid). Guess this shows just how desperate NBC really are for scripted fare.
ReplyDeleteSorry, my bad. Will remember for the future. :-)
ReplyDeleteMidseason of the 2014-2015 tv season or part of the 2015-2016 tv season?
ReplyDeleteIf there is one show that ABC should bring back thought its Ugly Betty.
ReplyDeleteOh! My! God! And here I thought I was the only one in the world who thought that about Ryan Murphy!
ReplyDeleteI am not aloooone! *hugs you!*
Back ON Topic… Yeah I think I can put Tim Kring in that same category...
I never got into Ugly Betty, but had a few friends who swore by it. I should give it the good old torrent binge watch. I have been meaning to. I assume you recommend start at the beginning? Or is there a particular early season episode that is a good overview?
ReplyDeleteNo no. You are correct. He was running the ship for the duration of the show.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for this!! I loved seasons 1-3 and had mixed feelings toward the fourth. Some plot lines interested me but overall it was meh. I still have about 4 episodes that I never watched from season 4 that I guess I will watch now so that I can finally finish it.
ReplyDeleteI would say the beginning because to me every episode was just a treat to watch.
ReplyDelete2015 Fall I would take from that press release.
ReplyDeleteCool, will put it on my binge watch list for next weekend (mostly caught up on everything now, so should be a treat). Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThought so, thanks for confirming. Really does not bode well then...
ReplyDeleteAhhhhhhh! OMG I Am So Excited.
ReplyDeleteI will sensitively suggest this to him tomorrow. I still think Cold Snap was one of the best episodes of Heroes.
ReplyDeleteTo be fair, J.J. Abrams is doing just that. Think about all the projects he has "created" and then left for someone else to run and develop.. Person of Interest, Alcatraz, Fringe, Revolution, and soon Believe. He had a long distance relationship with Lost, with his last contribution being the third season premiere.
ReplyDeleteGood call on one of the few season 3 episodes that can be called redeemable.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how to feel. There are great moments in each of the seasons and the acting was always superb. But the majority of the writing was plagued with errors, inconsistencies, cliches and holes. I look back on the series and am a bit overwhelmed by its downward spiral.
ReplyDeleteI fear that it might just pick up where it left off in terms of quality. But, otherwise, I'll be happy if it turns out decent.
OMG YES I never thought it would happen but it's happening ahhhhhh
ReplyDeleteAlso, if they are bringing back heroes, they should consider bringing back Jericho. The times are right for another post-apocalyptic show on TV. Back then it was too early, right now its ripe for the taking. I heard Netflix was in talks with its creator to bring Jericho back.
ReplyDeleteNah, Lost had a conclusion. There would be no reason for it to be reborn. Heroes on the other hand did not have a conclusion and left a hundred open plots unanswered. At least in Lost, if your familiar with its mythology, you could mostly explain away any of the few unanswered story lines. Unfortunately with Heroes, it rewrote its mythology for basically every season.
ReplyDeleteSeason 3 *and* season 4. Villains and Fugitives was bad too.
ReplyDeleteI kind of wish Bryan Fuller was returning to this as well. But pretty sure that won't happen since he's running Hannibal.
Exactly my thoughts! He is running Hannibal now. They only do that for 13 episodes a year and it's also on NBC but I don't see him returning to this show. I would be happy if he did.
ReplyDeleteActually JJ has backed a lot of projects through Bad Robot but hasn't "created" anything since Undecovers (which BTW flopped).
ReplyDeleteAll the shows you mentioned he doesn't have a creator credit on, meaning he hasn't had a hand in the script.
And he's well known to not step on the toes of the people who actually write the shows. He also seems to stay as involved as possible and/or as long as he wants to and/or as long and I think he feels he's needed.
In other words JJ is a league of his own.
He was the showrunner from the beginning...from season 1.
ReplyDeleteYeah I'm not really disappointed Tim Kring is back. It's his show. If he can only get a better writing staff this time around.
ReplyDeleteFox is bringing back 24. NBC is bringing back Heroes. Whats next? Firefly?
ReplyDeleteI hated season 3 and 4. But, my inner geek heart can't avoid feeling naively excited. Oh goddess, I want Niki Sanders back, my fav character. And please, no more good-bad-good-bad Sylar...
ReplyDeleteso Fox bring back 24 NBC bring back heroes......CBS bring back ??? ABC ???
ReplyDeleteNot sure I'm gonna watch it and not sure why they are bringing this show back from the dead..
ReplyDeleteI loved this show during season 1. During season 2 I found myself liking it less and less but hoped it would get better again, but in the middle of season 3 I had enough and I bailed.
They never bring back good things...
ReplyDeleteLost had a conclusion. A ridiculously unsatisfying one (In my opinion). Re-writing your show every season is just as unsatisfying to me. I am familiar with Lost (Loved it). The ending just didn't 'do it' for me. Overall a legendary series. But as said above in comment, Heroes just threw the rule book at the wall and said 'fuck it'. Weak writing if I ever saw it (after season 1 of course :-).
ReplyDeleteWhat? O_O Am I the only one who didn't hear anything about this previously, or is this really such a random announcement?
ReplyDeleteNo one heard about this. There was some talk about it being resurrected on Xbox, but nothing about it returning as a miniseries on NBC.
ReplyDeleteNBC knows how to keep things under wraps, there had been no news of this before the announcement.
ReplyDeleteI loved Heroes, but I don't wanna get my hopes up. I don;t know how I feel about all new characters as the originals are obviously unavailable.
I doubt the original cast will be returning, as they are busy and it's a standalone show.
ReplyDeletetl;dr :P
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of feelings about the show!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I can relate.
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one around here who's REALLY HAPPY ABOUT THIS?!
ReplyDeleteOkay ABC time to announce the Pushing Daisies revival
ReplyDeleteLet's get Fringe back!
ReplyDeletehttp://gifmansion.com/GM/uploads/2012/02/srslyguispug.gif
ReplyDeletehaha you made my day!
ReplyDeleteF*ck Me!!! I know they were talking about it from time to time but I never thought it's ging to happen!
ReplyDeleteWow did not expect this! Hope if they're bringing back characters, they bring back the ones they royally screwed over and leave Parkman, Claire and Sylar in the past. I'd rather see more of Tracy, Angela, Monica, and Micah!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree.
ReplyDeleteOver the moon at this! I know it won't be the same characters as before but hopefully it will continue with how it left things (show what happens to the world after Claire revealed her abilities).
ReplyDeleteYou`re actully wrong. Xbox Entertaiment was rumored to take over the series and a reboot of Heroes (since most of actors was on other shows at the time).
ReplyDeleteNo, I'm definitely out. Heroes was a terrible show after season 1.
ReplyDeleteOk... Heroes? Really? It had one good season and the rest was awful ! Bring Back CHUCK !!!! Not some Heroes travesty !!!
ReplyDeleteSurprising news!
ReplyDeleteI was a fan, and while the qulity did go down quickly after season 1, I actually did enjoy Season 4 more than 2 or 3 I think.
My feelings on this are not very passionate like some below, but I was never immersed in the series the first time around either.... I think the premise of the series is incredible and has serious potential to last for season on season, but the show needs a showrunner that has one very important trait....
The showrunner needs to have a plan, a plan that has a natural progression for the characters instead of being caught up in his own story and just writing stories and plots he thinks are cool. To me the major flaw of Heroes was how fast the various heroes progressed from average people to heroes proper. It should take time and their powers should incrementally increase, not go from newbie to most powerful person on the planet within two years!
If the show and its new team (with old leader - ugh!) can create a new story that lets every character evolve organically I think the series could be great again! However, I do not trust Tim Kring to be the leader of that project...
Wait and see... Then, wait and see some more!
How funny that I was just telling you that I hadn't seen the whole series and here's a spin-off-reboot! (I remember reading that they were thinking about re-making it, but I am surprised that it will try and see the light of a TV screen again)
ReplyDeleteI guess it's time for me to watch the series. I hear everyone's skepticism of Kring, but is it possible the fault could also have partually lied with NBC's former execs???
I don't think so in this case.
ReplyDeleteKring said often in various interviews that he had no real knowledge level of comic books or how they're written and while sometimes he said he had a six year plan, at other times he said he was making it up as he went along.
I guess it is possible that NBC wanted the powers to be revealed and manifest to uber-powers more quickly, but I do not recall reading anything about that. Honestly htough, as I wrote above,I was not one of the huge fans of the show before so I could have missed articles that would shed light on NBC's fault....
That's not internally accurate. For instance when Erik Kripke pitched Revolution, his pitch was closer to Stephen King's The Stand and Abrams said they have to find a way to make it a little different (and that's where the sci-fi and nanotech aspects derive). So even though Erik Kripke takes full credit as "creator" it really was a compromised and combined effort.
ReplyDeleteI think even the reason Fringe gets Kurtzman and Orci credited as "creators" has to do with Alias, as episode 3x09 seems to be Fringe's birthplace.
Additionally if you listen to a lot of writers, you'll learn that despite that any one writer or pair of writers may take a writing credit for an episode, not all the ideas from that episode necessarily come from that/those writers. It truly is a combined effort, although I would agree that head writers make a lot of the final choices, but even in Fringe's case Joel Wyman had stated that Abrams did check in and give a lot of notes, despite his busy schedule.
I don't know if calling your fanbase 'rabid' is a good move. Neither, for that matter, is this show.
ReplyDeleteThis x1000!
ReplyDeleteThis is cool as long as they continue the story on the storyline level from the first two seasons AND PLEASE wrap up some character storylines. No endless Sylar anymore, please.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely. I think he delivered a lot of the writing in this model one writer per character. Maybe he needs to supervise more.
ReplyDeleteBut Bryan Fuller was there in season 3 and four as well. Don´t get me wrong, he was a very good integral part, but he isn´t the reason EVERYTHING was good.
ReplyDeleteAs someone who works in the business I can guarantee you that in order to get a "creator" credit you need to have a certain level of involvement in the actual development of the IDEA and the PITCH and/or writing of the PILOT. If you don't you don't get the credit. It's as simple as that.
ReplyDeleteGiving notes and pushing for story lines or making suggestions is something else entirely. It is something that happens in the pilot process if one chooses to back and or buy the idea, and it's something that absolutely happens if the show gets picked up and progresses.
And I'm 100% sure JJ is entitled to quite a bit of say in any Bad Robot show of his choosing before and after it gets picked up. But having actually sit down to develop a pilot from scratch, he hasn't done that since Undercovers.
- "Additionally if you listen to a lot of writers, you'll learn that despite that any one writer or pair of writers may take a writing credit for an episode, not all the ideas from that episode necessarily come from that/those writers.
Because you have a tendency to only bring Bad Robot examples to debates:
Amy Sherman Palladino was notorious for basically re-writing every script of Gilmore Girls to fit her voice, so much so that most writers on that show felt they could only be credited with basic structure of the episode, more than anything else.
SPN's Faith writing credit goes to Sera and Raelle but it was Bob's pitch and idea…
So yes I am aware that's how a writers room works and what kind of compromises are done between networks and exec producers and writers. I don't need the basic lecture.
Seems so odd to me people would want the old characters back.
ReplyDeleteI for one would want the new Heroes Reborn to have very, very little to do with the original despite liking many of the characters. For the show to be a success it will need to be something new from the original IMO.
Maybe a cameo here or there, but please do not bring back any original Heroes in semi-regular roles!
Not true actually. He was back for maybe 3 months in S3, then left again to develop something else.
ReplyDeleteSorry, but I disagree. Otherwise you wouldn´t need this franchise but instead do something different like Alphas. If you continue the franchise you need the old characters. I guess 24 fans would be very disappointed if 24 would return without Jack Bauer.
ReplyDeleteI think that is true in most cases, but in this case I think J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burkes' whole production company runs a bit different, so that they can attempt to have more control on their projects (Bad Robot is expanding sound stages on their property, because Abrams wants to try and do as much of Star Wars as he can there, as opposed to completely shooting/producing overseas).
ReplyDelete"d I'm 100% sure JJ is entitled to quite a bit of say in any Bad Robot show of his choosing before and after it gets picked up. But having actually sit down to develop a pilot from scratch, he hasn't done that since Undercovers.
I'm not saying that he's heavily involved, but just that to say that he is not involved at all and/or that his company of writers do not go out of their way to attempt to please him (because they all reference each other as a trademark) is also not true.
I would agree if the show was going to be called Heroes again, but Heroes: Reborn suggests something new., the next generation or evolution of the series - not the same thing. At least to me.
ReplyDeletePlus the fundamental problem with the original series was how fast the heroes matured into their powers. That caused most of the retcon issues and terrible plot devices they used. Basically all the things that made Seasons 2 and on so much worse than the first season.
To bring back the original heroes in their roles is just re-opening the same door to all the previous problems. Personally, I think the original storyline (if taken as a whole with those characters) has been ruined beyond repair and it needs to restart with new average, every day people coming into their abilities.
True actually. He attended the writers room in Season 3 for episode 19 and stayed until season 4 episode 5 or 6. Afterwards he left.
ReplyDeleteMy bad. I forgot his 3 month return bridged the gap between S3 wrap and S4 pre production.
ReplyDeleteWell, 24 has tag name as well so...I think this has something to do with legal copyright issues, to make the new fiction a singular piece of work because the show has ended.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree that the fundamental problem was how fast the characters matured into their powers but you can find ways to tone that down. Hiro had a period where he didn´t WANT to use his powers. So there are ways to avoid it and probably they continue the story that gifted people are well known and therefore they hide their powers.
I definitely want old faces. I want Peter, Hiro (well, Season 1 and 2 Hiro), Ali Larter as Nikki (resurrected or presumed dead), Claire, Noah, definitely Mohinder, Matt but let Nathan go and Sylar only for one last time.
No problem.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you are in the majority honestly...
ReplyDeletePersonally I think the original premise has more potential than the original characters at this point.
When I read the article I never for a second thought that the comment about old characters meant they would be regulars. That is why I was surprised so many instantly went to the old characters.
My first thought about bringing back old regulars was that they would be too expensive to hire now, but honestly most of the actors really have not advanced much in Hollywood. XD
Outside of Hayden being the lead of Nashville, most of the actors are still supporting role actors from the projects I have seen. No one really broke huge did they? Maybe they could afford to bring back the old actors?
I still prefer the idea of a complete reboot of the series with possible cameos by the old heroes at most..
Well, the fans want their beloved characters back.
ReplyDeleteBUT:
I guess you will get the reboot.
The actors and actresses didn´t break huge. They had roles here and there but none of them was that successful or recognizeable. I hope they bring them back, but Hayden seems unavailable because of Nashville, Milo Ventimiglia signed a deal recently, I remember, at least I think.
Sendhil Ramamurthy is on the Beauty and the Beast, Ali Larter on Legends, though she might be able to come in because the season has just 10 episodes, Masi Oka is on Hawaii Five-O.....so I´m afraid logistics will make things harder.
Sad for me.
As much as I hated Season 3 (and didn't really care for Season 2), I'm actually kind of excited about this.
ReplyDeleteI have no attachment to the franchise, so if they screw it up even further by reviving it, there's no loss. The ending that it had was perfectly serviceable as an ending, but not beyond allowing some sort of furtherance of the show. The show had been getting better again with Season 4. Touch was actually pretty good for a couple of episodes, so if Kring is doing Reborn, we can at least expect Reborn to have a good pilot. It's a miniseries which means they won't have time to do all the things that made Seasons 2 and 3 so miserable.
I don't know. I just don't see a lot of potential negative here. So I'm kind of excited to see what happens.
Now let's get Pushing Daisies and Reaper to come back and conclude...
It warms my cockles to see Heroes back on this site's list of shows. Whatever happens I just want some sense of closure from the last season.
ReplyDeleteUnlike Heroes Chuck had a satisfying enough conclusion. It doesn't need more episodes. I'd be on board for a movie though.
ReplyDeleteTo me, season 3 is total train wreck. I think his influence wasn´t uplifting it anyhow. In season 4, yeah maybe.
ReplyDeleteThey wrote back then every producer had one character to write for and I assume he wrote for Tracy and Claire, because after he left, Tracy mostly disappeared and the story of Rebecca, this invisible girl who killed Claire´s former roommate. So I think that was his influence.
He came in on the very back end of S3. I doubt there was much he would be able to do by that point. However still, his one writing credit in S3 is considered one of the better episodes not only of the season but the show.
ReplyDeleteAnd lets not forget that all of his episodes in S1 were damn stellar!
I think that's fairly indicative of his influence in the quality of the show in general.
Hope to see Hayden Panettiere there. Loved the show, hope they give it a propper rebirth.
ReplyDeleteWhatttttt?!??!?!? That's crazy!!! I'm soo on it!! Wow!! The last season's cliffhanger killed me though! Can we just wrap that up, and then jump into new storylines, b/c that would be great. Hahaha, i need that. Wow. I'm excited for this. I loved Heroes.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if anyone has done this yet, but here goes.... ALL TOGETHER NOW: "YATTA!!"
ReplyDeleteI think his point was that, as most shows go (not including Community), the creator should pretty much hold the reigns on Seaon 1, then hand it off to someone talented at pushing a sophomore and higher attempt through the pipeline.
ReplyDeleteJ.J. Abrams is a great example. As is Joss Whedon. Those two are GREAT show runners/creators... for the first season. Then they wander off to another project, leaving their babies in the hands of Damon Linderlof/Carlton Cuse and the like.
Yes, but the whole writing staff in the early seasons was better. There were some major shake ups. Natalie Chaidez wrote the Nikki storylines in season one and didn´t return in season two which resulted in Nikki becomeing more of a side character instead of being the driving motor in her own stories.
ReplyDeleteAnd the writing credit for a particular episode didn´t say thtat the credited writer actually wrote the whole episode, instead he or she just edited all the scenes for the storylines of the specific writer´s character all together into one episode.
The only exception was Tim Kring for better or for worse.
She's on Nashville now, so I highly doubt she'll be back.
ReplyDeleteI know, but they said some old characters might pop up so mabye she could have the time to do a small one.
ReplyDeleteJust.... Ugh. I loved Heroes up until S3 when it all went downhill. It ended on such a low that they need to just let it go.
ReplyDeleteI agree! Well written! Bryan Fuller unfortunately left after season 1 and he was the most talented writer they had. He did come back for a few episodes, but then it was too late to rescue Heroes. I only bought season 1 on DVD and when it was my friend's birthday I only bought him season 1 on DVD and told him to ignore the rest of the seasons.
ReplyDeleteYeah Bryan was the strongest writer by far 'Company Man' was a great hour of TV. I always tell people the same thing, just watch S1 and think of it as a one season wonder!
ReplyDeleteIf it's anything like the first two seasons I'll be there!
ReplyDeleteAt least she was used. We never Saw the third twin, Barbra. (at least I don't think...)
ReplyDeleteAs well as Joseph Loeb
ReplyDeleteDon't forget Joseph Loeb
ReplyDeleteThe equivalent, would be the equally ethnic diversity LOST
ReplyDeleteI hated the open ending, too.
ReplyDeleteThe thought that would be enough to get the show picked up for another season. That's why they did it like that. They were actually suppose to another network iI think. But the netwprk they wanted to move to, was jam packed. Then they wanted to try and move it around on NBC, but it didn't work b/c of the new shows, especially The Cape. So they ended up canceling it.
ReplyDeleteNo. The previous Heroes was murdered by the writers and does not deserve a reborn. Just spare us. And Tim Kring will have his hand in this project?!... If that's not reason enough to not watch it, I don't know what is. I have a list of tv shows that are really good if people need something to watch. Hell, just turn on showtime or HBO. You'll find a great show!
ReplyDeleteI know about the Xbox entertainment, but I saying that there was no news that NBC was eying it as a miniseries.
ReplyDeleteIf Legends is a success, then I doubt she'll be retuning full time. Maybe a few episodes?
ReplyDeleteSo excited for this. And I think the main focus should be new characters, and a new arc. But they definitely need to include the former cast members in some way. Whether it be guest roles or cameo appearances. If there's no Hayden, I'll be extremely upset. But let's be honest, I'd still watch either way.
ReplyDeleteI am super excited about this!
ReplyDeleteAlso, pleaseeee bring Ali Larter back! Tracy is probably the most underused character I've ever seen
ReplyDelete
