    I'm disappoint seeing as i thought this two final episodes would tie in with the pilot episode but guess Fox is gonna cramp everything in Season Finale

    SH is the only show FOX consistently markets well but we might get movie style trailer for the season finale ep after episode 12 airs I'm guessing.

    Fox screwed us over lol the finale is not even tieing up the pilot at all

    In the season finale, “Straw Man,” airing Monday, March 3 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), Det. Kennex (Karl Urban) and Dorian (Michael Ealy) investigate a string of murders by a copycat of a serial killer whom Kennex’s father put in jail

    Kennex's father is connected to the pilot and what happened in Perception which aired two weeks ago, we just don't how much yet. I have no doubt this show is ending on a cliffhanger though. They will probably reveal some more stuff but they won't be able to tie up much bcse a lot of what was set up was meant to be explored past the first season. Fingers crossed we get a second season seeing as FOX has few stable performers as it is lets hope they realize that.

    The last episode and the next 2 are in order. So if the episodes don't touch on the main story arch much it was the writers' choice, not Fox. I have a feeling though the main plot will be weaved into the episodes. The writers seem to prefer that than having more central to plot episodes. I actually don't mind the weaving.

    Having little hope for it is no excuse for what they did. Despite the odds Almost Human is doing better or close to equal as most Fox shows. And AH is doing well considering it's facing the Olympics. Most other Fox shows running right now have seen a bigger drop. I won't understand Fox if they don't renew for at least 1 more season.

    The Following gets about .1 more rating than AH, but also gets a little less viewers. It's about equal, I'd call it, since .1 isn't much of a difference.

    well hopefully there is a second season.........I don't think there is enough time to wrap the main storyline in 2 episode time. I am guessing we won't know until march or later on

    Yeah they renewed Glee and the ratings sometimes were as low as 1.1 and I know Mindy Project and B99 has very low ratings but both most likely will be renewed. FOX needs to let their shows grow past a season or two so they can grow fanbases and retain ratings, better start now while the have some shows with potential rather than later.

    Glee is an older show so they're more apt to do that. Especially is syndication is near (I don't know if Glee is past that or not yet).


    See if they renew B99 but not AH I would not be a happy camper simply because of ratings. It's not right to the viewers to give to one not doing so well but not to the other.

    Hard to say. I have no idea what Fox is thinking about this show right now. It's like the middle child. Gets ignored. Or at least it feels like it sometimes. (And the rating/viewers are kinda in the middle though towards the top middle from my understandings of the system).

    Not with Karl urban or even Ealy's movies schedules tbh, it would be tough. 15 would be more doable IMO but 22 would be rough.

    Some have said it was supposed to be 13, others a full 22 episode season. Lots of rumors but nothing from Fox officially.


    So I don't know if it was part of that experiment. Likely so.


    It would be going with The Following and Sleepy Hollow (in less SH is supposed to get a 22 episode season next year?)


    I kinda like the 13 episode idea. But I only like it if shows get multiple seasons.

    Sleepy renewed for a season 2 13 ep run like the first BUT with the possibility of an additional ep or two if needed.

    Look at the shows on CBS, NCIS and NCIS both are shows that actually had gains in far later seasons both in demos and total viewers. I think it happened to Castle as well but don't quote me on that. Another good example would be Teen Wolf, another show that has slowly every year gained on total viewers and demos. FOX needs to invest in shows, no one has any confidence in them and they earned that reputation.

    I still find it uncommon, but yeah, you're right in saying they should give the shows a chance. Most channels are so quick to throw away first season shows. Part of it is their earning to have a certain number of Pilots aired every year.

    I'm thinking Straw Man might. Originally John's father was suppose to be the 'Danica' head in the evidence room, before the writers changed their mind, but I think his father is still important to the series (allusions to Walter Bishop and 'Internal Affairs" theme) and he is mentioned for the press release of this episode...


    The idea of Straw Man is an argument where the ends do not justify the means. -In the episode "Perception", again going back to internal affairs agent Reynolds, his argument to Kennex was a Straw Man argument where he suggests both Kennex and Kennex' father's stories/memories do not justify the means...and this is also all contrasted by these "organic" memories DRN has....
