    Yeah, gotta agree. While I liked several of the Monster of the Week episodes over the first 2 seasons the Tooms episodes were definitely some of my favorite.


    Though I'd like to add one not on the list: Fire, Cecil L'Ively. Mark Sheppard guest starred as a pyrokinetic serial killer and Mulder was distracted by an old "flame" (Had to go there). I'd put that episode up there as well.

  3. Tooms ... I think it was the firs tthat really ever scared me (being about 12 years old back than) and I still love that episode ... its the best!!

  4. Eugene Victor Tooms is going to win this poll, for sure... my other votes are for the ice worm parasites, the wood mites, and John Barnett. Yes, all season 1 episodes, I'll rewatch that DVD set any time - in fact, I think I'll do so now *walks off whistling into mist-shrouded distance*

  6. I loved Fire so muich that I immediately remembered Mark Sheppard from it many years later. That was one creepy, "well-done" episode.
