TVLine has learned exclusively that Bunheads barkeep Nathan Parsons will step into the series-regular role previously played by Luke Grimes when the HBO hit returns with its seventh and final season this summer.

    They did but actually it was Luke Grimes who asked to leave, over creative difference. Apparently, he did not like the new storyline for James. Maybe James will become darker or a zombie vampire ?

    Personally I think they should be held to a contract, especially considering it's only for the final season. There's nothing worse than characters being recast.
