Well there's good news and bad news. The good news is this finale rocked! Talk about a mind twist. The bad news is we are now officially in hiatus and man is it going to be loooooong. To help keep the hellatus blues away, this time a double episode means double the votes. Yep, you can choose 2 options this time. Enjoy and don't forget to comment away. Comments chase hiatus frustration away. Until the fall season...happy voting!

  1. There was no shortness of awesome in this finale, and that's jsut the last 4 minutes. My obvious pick for best scene was the mid twist, open-jawed reveal that Henry was War AND Jeremy. It's rare that TV shocks me so much and still makes sense. My second choice is harder because I loved the scene between the two Mills sisters but I also loved Irving's sacrifice. Then there's Purgatory, which was creepy cool in so many ways. As for a little piece of continuity that made my heart sing, I adore that Ichabod mentions Yolanda again.

  2. This is not an option (mostly because it doesn't make any sense as an option), but I'd say the reveal that Henry was Jeremy. Not that I don't love the part of him being War, but I guessed that midway through the episode. But Jeremy? Total and utter surprise. And I particularly enjoyed it because unlike most people I never saw Noble kicking ass on TV before (only in guest star roles, but that doesn't really count). Guy is really awesome.

  3. lots of scnes that would merit a vote, but I had to go with the big flip of the script for sure that Henry was in fact IC and KC's son, Jeremy as well as the second Horseman.... for a close second, I went with a humorous moment with IC's new telephone envy... a close nom not on the list would be when IC unexpectedly found himself in the middle of a Revolutionary War battle reenactment and found a wardrobe supplier for his revolutionary duds - possibly effectively ensuring that we might never see him in modern wear...... lol

  4. My very favorite one is the one where Abbie says that she needs to get back to the living world, but then she realizes she's in the dollhouse; it was a poweful moment

  5. I thought that visual of the glaringly bright dollhouse in the Purgatory settings was one of the creepiest and brilliant shots of all.

  6. The re-enactors are on the list right after Irving giving himself up to protect Macey. That was one of the funniest scenes and I love that it solved the clothing problem...well, halfway.

  7. That's funny because after the golem episode I heard a lot of people wondering if Henry was the son, but then that talk died out during hiatus. I think everyone I've talked or tweeted with was shocked by one or the other or both. It was a masterful stroke. Glad you got to see the tour-de-force that is John Noble. He has a way of embodying a character until you feel you know them, just to twist everything around.

  8. Yeah, it's kinda really creepy. I'm glad he's coming back for S2, the show will gain a lot.

  9. I tend to like the more emotional moments, but this time I absolutely have to go with the Henry is Jeremy and War reveal. Totally caught me off guard!

But second has to be Crane and Abbie's goodbye scene before Crane leaves purgatory with Katrina.

Another I like that isn't on the list is when Crane redraws the map. He's crying as he does it because he knows he is betraying his promise yo Abbie, but at the same time he'd promised Katrina that he'd save her. I thought Tom Mison did a wonderful job portraying his conflict very sympathetically. He had to redraw it becaused he owed it to Katrina. But he couldn't use it because of his promise to Abbie.

  10. There were just so many amazing twists and scenes, but I had to go with the humor. Ichabod following the fake Katrina to the re-enactors was hilarious. Glad he found a place to shop. I'm sure that coat was getting ripe. Second would be the fist bump in Purgatory. With all the scares and creepiness, that little gesture managed to put them back together and on track. A subtle yet powerful sign of their trust and it worked beautifully.

  11. I voted the top 2. I just felt Sooo bad with Abbie staying behind. And their hug was so sweet. I really do love their friendship/connection. But I was also glad when Ichabod promised he'd return for her. I was glad Ichabod and Katrina got out of there. But I found it funny how Ichabod said he'd introduce Henry to Katrina, but he never did, they introduced themselves. LOL and when Henry revealed his true self. Man that really got me. That was one helluva twist.

  12. The ENTIRE final scene between Crane, Katrina and Henry/War/Jeremy!
