  1. Great, after the embarrassingly predictable twist and contrived drama between Peter and Neal, this episode sold me on Rachel being a credible challenge

  2. Well at least Red was interesting finally. Do we know how good the chances are of renewal? It seems like they could be setting up a potential ending if they aren't renewed.

  3. I hate how Peter and Elizabeth talk about Neal like he's a 2 year old... he's a grown ass man

  5. Too bad Rebecca is a murderer...strangely I like her more and more since my suspicious about her have been confirmed.

  6. I feel the same way! Well, actually I'm conflicted because I really liked her with Neal, but on the other hand I'm glad she turned out to be this dark, manipulative, kick-ass character because she has the most interesting arc this season. :D

Unfortunately, with just 2 episodes left, I think they're trying to wrap up her story too quickly. I wish they had revealed her con earlier on in the season instead of keeping her in the background until ep.10. There have been some dull 'filler' episodes this season that could have been avoided. :/

  7. I loved the episode. Matt and Bridget were fantastic. The way they changed their demeanor from one scene to another was great and Bridget gave me chills with her "see you soon". I think she is the best villain the show has ever had and I hope she remains as cold and calculated as she appears now, with a soft spot for Neal. That said, I have to ask: is this it for the feud between the guys? Neal helped bring Rebeca down and the all mighty Burke forgives him? The fact that Neal and Peter worked together to catch Rebeca and that Peter was less of a jerk doesn't erase all he said and thought of Neal up until this point. His " if anyone sees it differently they should come talk to me" does nothing for me. I hope that at some point something bad will happen to make Peter get down of his high horse and realize how unfair he has been to his friend. I hope that with all of my heart bc even though I loved the episode I feel like it had no heart bc for me the bromance is still missing and will continue to feel this way until they write Peter as the caring guy he used to be.

  8. Wow, that was one long sentence.

  9. I loved how Neal gave Rebecca 3 exits out of the location. I loved how he purposely left out the fourth and she chose that way and was caught. I was sad she was the killer of the FBI agent.

I do agree with the both of you! I would have avoided the "filler" episodes because of the shortened season...and I am a bit scared of a possible quick wrap-up for Rebecca's story arc :( because it was indeed interesting! Even if so far, my greatest regret for this season is how quickly they killed of Agent Siegel! It would have been really interesting having him along for a couple episodes more!

I agree! In these last episodes, Peter has been really unfair to Neal (and this is just an understatement!). I would even say that Peter is really behaving a bit like an hypocrit...all his speeches on how to do things according to the system, and the fact that he keeps on telling Neal that he will never be anything else than a con. But then, he uses Neal being a con to his advantage in a way! This is not fair to Neal and I can totally see his "need to cut off all strings" he said in one of the first episodes of this season. Anyway, even if I do not like the way Peter is treating Neal, I do prefer when there is a bit of tension in their relationship...in a way, it seems more real to me when they are at odds with each other!
You're right, Matt and Bridget were definitely awesome! Overall, I have to admit that I'm really liking this season, surely more than the previous one!

  12. I agree...I wasn't keen on Peter getting replaced, but it brought a fresh dynamic to the show I would have liked to see a little bit longer. And the Rebecca arc is too good to be wrapped up in three episodes. One or two episodes more spend on Siegel, one or two spend on Rebecca to replace the fillers and this would have been the best season ever.

I quote!!! You're definitely right!! I am anyway convinced that this season still remains very good, IMHO better than S4 and even S3 :)

  14. If they end it on a high note, then I agree. I always said that S3 had a great arc but the worst stand-alone episodes ever, and S4 just failed in the arc (but had a couple of great stand-alones). This one had a great start, frizzled a little bit with the fillers, but picked up again this last two eps.

  15. I'm with you on the tension part, I too enjoy it but not when it is for a dumb reason. Peter's attitude is ridiculos for me since he doesn t seem to have a problem with the fact that El asked Neal to do what he did. I just rewatched wanted and I miss their friendship so much. Where is that Peter that went after Neal in order to protect him from Collins? It is ok for Peter to cross the line for Neal but when Neal does it to save his friend it is bc he is a criminal who can t help himself I find that out of character for Peter and forced. I love the tension but you could always tell that even if Peter had suspicions over Neal there was always care and friendship between the2, this season I didn t see that in Tim's acting so Peter came across like a bad, ungratefull friend.
